GGuest UserOne of my favourite hotels in Santo Domingo. Perfect for location and if you don't want to spend 3 figures a night for a 5 star hotel.
Renovated a few years ago, the rooms and decor are exceptional.
The hallway can be noisy but that's due to the construction of the building as it does have some history.
Breakfast is a combination of hot and cold and is served on the rooftop. Once again, staff are very helpful and attentive and I couldn't fault them for anything.
Reception is always friendly and helpful. All rooms have a minibar and a safe but if the prices are a little steep then theres a National store in El Conde where you can buy all your needs at local prices.
Your 5 minutes walk away from the centre of ”El Conde” or ”Zona Colonial” where there's quite a few US food chains such as Domino's and KFC as well as a lot of boutique shops where you can find something to your liking.

GGuest UserThe hotel's soundproofing is average. Living on the fifth floor, you can hear people talking loudly downstairs. The internet is poor, and what's uncomfortable is that the charging plug is not at the bedside! ! ! But the hotel's breakfast is great, with everything you need. I hope the room facilities can be improved, as they are a bit too old.

The deluxe bed booked this time, the front desk service is very warm, and the scenery outside the window is the most attractive to us. It is beautiful. The hotel's service is a plus, the pool is also a plus, the front desk and lobby concierge service is particularly good, it is a special trip. Satisfied

El único inconveniente fue que el agua caliente no funcionó y solicite cambio de habitación y en la otra habitación tampoco funcionó el agua caliente! Y la claridad de la luz del pasillo entraba por espacio de puerta de la habitación! general

AAndelieAndrésThe client knew I was staying here and told me it was a very old hotel, but you could tell from the sofa and layout of the room that it was nice. First, the pros: clean, good location, a Lanzhou noodle shop is a 6-minute walk away, and it's also close to 77's BBQ. Cons: the minibar was empty, the water wasn't changed daily, and most unacceptably, there's a bar downstairs that starts partying every night at 2 pm. I happened to be on a business trip and was in meetings with headquarters, so I was sleeping past 2 am. At that time, the music started getting really loud, and the bass was transmitted through the walls, bed frame, and bone conduction to my ears, making it impossible to sleep. I slept with noise-canceling headphones for three days, and the music didn't stop until 6 pm because I woke up several times and checked the time many times… So, avoid it! The breakfast was mediocre; there was no egg stand, just cold dishes, and the coffee was terrible.

GGuest UserAt the reception everyone is friendly. Good hotel, cleaning in the room is not very good. Some problem with the light, it turns on by itself and prevents you from sleeping. Excellent breakfast!
