THOUSAND HOTEL

Our stay at Thousand was exceptional. The staff is really helpful and kind. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Additionally, everything was impeccably clean and well-organized. The breakfastexcellent good, a variety ofveral options. We would definitely stay here again when coming back to Zhangjiajie. Very recommended!

The breakfast was great and also providing a wide range of food options. It also provides picking up services for free to the hotel from the airport and train station. Good facilities in room and services provided.

The airport pick up and train drop off was amazing. The bed was firm but the hotel was clean and convenient. Bring your own conditioner though, they only had shampoo and body wash (and in this heat, you’re going to want conditioner! Haha!)

The experience of staying in the hotel is very good, hygienic and clean. The front desk service is warm and free. The pick-up and drop-off service is also very considerate. Especially in summer, the air conditioning and cooling effect is very good. As soon as you enter the room, you will be very comfortable. I will choose it again next time

I had a wonderful stay at Thousand Hotel in Zhangjiajie. The location is one of its biggest advantages. It’s only about a 10-minute walk to the Tianmen Mountain cable car station, where you can also buy tickets for Routes A, B, and C. If you’re planning to visit Tianmen Mountain and the famous 999 Steps to Heaven, this hotel is the perfect choice. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Several of the receptionists speak fluent English, which made communication very easy. One of the best perks was the complimentary shuttle service to the train station. It was very convenient and a great added value. There are plenty of local restaurants within walking distance of the hotel where you can enjoy delicious and affordable food. The 72 Qilou Scenic Area is also very close, making it easy to visit. The only suggestion I have is to improve the breakfast selection a little. It would be nice to have fresh fruit juices and a few cold breakfast options, especially during the summer, since everything was served at room temperature. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tianmen Mountain. The location, service, and value for money are excellent.

Moved from this hotel from the Forest park vicinity for it's proximity to Tianmen Mountain, my next visit. Hot days and although is close enough to the tourist center to go to the mountain, in over 35 degrees didi might be necessary. On the other hand, if one has tone to explore around there's quite a few options of local small stores and restaurants. In the morning of the visit, using route B (fewer people, even on Sunday) i was able to climb 999 steps very nicely and arrived second to the top (stopped for photos) and was able to navigate the top of the mountain almost alone until midmorning. Then people mountain people sea and left after visiting everything, avoided all queues. The hotel doesn't really help with the booking (as others did) and delegate it to a tourist company in the same building. Hotel communicates very well in English, the tour company not so much, and didn't find them particularly helpful. Certainly can't get the hotel discounts one would get from others, so I recommend using trip to book the Tianmen mountain if you come here. All in all a good experience, and i still find it preferable to sleep nearby, if i had come here from the forest park hotels i would have been stuck in queues and surrounded by many people through the experience of the mountain. In the evening before Tianmen visit, check out the 72 wonders house. Well within reach by didi.

This hotel has all we need. Stafs are friendly but as usual language is the biggest problem in china. Only thing if I have to comment would be breakfast items were not properly labelled hence it was difficult for us to identify. They have laundry facilities which we used a lot during our stay.
