The host was very kind and provided directions, free raincoats, and even helped us with our luggage.

A friend recommended this place, and I'm so glad we chose it! The room was spotless, the food was delicious, and it's super close to the Huangshan South Gate Xiaoyaoxi transfer station – just diagonally across the street to the left. It made getting to the mountain so convenient. Last time, we stayed somewhere else that offered free pick-up, but the drive was quite long, and they only dropped us off at the hotel entrance anyway. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

Qingtang Peak No. 6 B&B completely redefined my perception of guesthouses. The owner is incredibly warm and thoughtful, taking the time to explain all the important considerations for climbing Mount Huangshan to each guest. They provide free walking sticks, raincoats, and hand-drawn maps. What's particularly impressive is the emergency rescue number, which shows incredible attention to detail, helping guests avoid getting lost or spending unnecessarily. The rooms are spacious and bright, and there's plenty of hot water. It's very quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep. The B&B is also conveniently located very close to the entrance of Mount Huangshan. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The room was pretty good, and the heating was strong. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly! For breakfast, we ordered noodles for 15 yuan, but they also brought us boiled eggs and egg fried rice afterward and even asked if we wanted porridge, but we were too full to eat anymore. The proprietress was so incredibly nice; she even gave us tips and precautions before we headed to Huangshan.

The rooftop observation deck is an absolute game-changer for panoramic scenery. Forget battling the crowds at the main scenic spots; from here, you get an unobstructed, clear view of the majestic silhouette of Lotus Peak, and even Bright Summit is perfectly framed. Witnessing the sea of clouds gently roll over the mountaintops in the early morning is beyond beautiful – every snap you take looks like a postcard! And the room didn't disappoint either. Beyond being impeccably clean and tidy, the bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable, making it the perfect sanctuary to collapse into after a long day.

Choosing the right B&B was an absolute game-changer for our Huangshan trip! Based on online guides, we had initially prepared for the hassle of queuing at the South Gate. To our pleasant surprise, this B&B is conveniently located right by Xiaoyaoxi Station – which is also a less crowded starting point – and it's just a short walk from the entrance. This meant no time wasted on queuing, which was a huge plus for us traveling as a family. Furthermore, the B&B's cleanliness was exceptionally reassuring. The room was spotless, the bedding was fresh and comfortable, and even the bathroom was completely odor-free. The owner and staff also provided incredibly thoughtful service. They proactively helped with our luggage, offered useful tips for exploring, and were always quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Our entire family had a wonderfully comfortable and worry-free stay. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Huangshan!

Qingtan Peak No. 6 Homestay exceeded all our expectations and offered a truly perfect experience! The guesthouse was immaculately clean throughout; from the bedding to the bathrooms, everything felt fresh and pristine. The amenities were also comprehensive, meeting all our daily needs. The location was absolutely unbeatable – direct access to the mountains made hiking incredibly convenient, saving us significant travel time. The owner's recommended hiking trail was fantastic: beautiful scenery, not too strenuous, and completely bypassed crowded areas. After our hike, we tried their Stone Ear Stewed Local Chicken and 'Tiao Shui Yu' (a local spicy fish dish). The chicken was incredibly tender, the fish broth rich and flavorful, and the 'Tiao Shui Yu' was perfectly seasoned with a wonderful spicy kick. Even our kids couldn't get enough of it and are still raving about it now that we're home! We will definitely choose this homestay again on our next visit!
