"The room is facing the coast, you can see the sea, the sunrise, and the cruise ships coming in and out of the port. Parking is conveniently located in the basement of the hotel. The location is excellent, shopping and sightseeing are very close, and there are many delicious foods around. The receptionist is very enthusiastic, and there are people who can speak Chinese, which is great. The hotel breakfast is a set meal, and there are not many choices for us."

"Beautiful inn with stunning view! We could see the sunrise living in the balcony floor. Although we had to pay extra for our breakfast (all-you-can-eat style), kids were free of charge. If you are lucky enough, there may be live music performance in the restaurant during your stay! Overall we had a wonderful stay in Iona Heights Inn!"

"We had a very bad experience with this hotel. When we arrived we asked the staff at front desk about car parking and we were told that there was no parking space and we had to go looking for an off street parking ourselves. We had a long time driving and this was the first time to Halifax and everything was new to us. How could we handle this issue? However, the staff seemed it was not a big issue and even not willing to give any more details about off street parking. I couldn't believe this thing happen at such a luxury hotel. We really don't recommend this hotel and will never come back again. Our experience at this hotel was terrible. When arriving to check in, we asked the receptionist at the front desk about parking and we were told there was not enough parking and we needed to find a street parking spot ourselves. We were exhausted from the long drive that day, and it was our first time in Halifax and was completely unfamiliar with everything here. How do we deal with this? However, the staff didn't seem to think it was a big deal, didn't express a single bit of apology, or even bothered to explain more details about on-street parking. We've stayed in many different hotels and we've never had this happen, I can't believe it could happen in such a luxury hotel. There are so many brand hotels in Halifax, why should I book your hotel, is it cheaper? We really do not recommend this hotel and will never come again."
