The quality of the breakfast was outstanding, with highlights including the delicious French toast and the fresh seafood donburi, which was a perfect way to start the day.
The onsen facilities were amazing as well."

"The location, needless to say, is absolutely perfect for a city walk in Sapporo's blossoming streets. It's just a 10-15 minute walk from Sapporo Station, and popular spots like the TV Tower and Tanukikoji are all within walking distance. Plus, there's a Lawson convenience store right nearby – super convenient!
After walking miles and enjoying delicious food all day, coming back to the hotel for a relaxing soak in the bath just fills you with pure bliss! I was already charmed by the lovely ladies at the front desk during check-in, and then at breakfast, I saw all the handsome gentlemen were on duty too. I started wondering if this hotel hires based on looks – breakfast truly offered a feast for all the senses!
So yeah, I really love Sapporo. I'll definitely be back next time, and I'll definitely be staying at this hotel again!
BTW: Sapporo's food is just SOOOOOOO good, LOL!"

"We were welcomed by soft serve ice cream at L2 and self-help coffee at the lobby. Chose this hotel as it has washer/ dryer IN the room with delay timer. Some say it takes 4 hours to wash n dry. I used but didn’t take note how long it takes. Clothes came out almost wrinkle free which impressed me. Room layout is spacious to accommodate our 3 nights stay whereby we bought a lot of stuff and we can comfortably sit at the table to eat. There is even a microwave oven in the room! The hotel uses Refa shampoo, conditioner n body foam which smells great. Best hair dryer (Refa) too! Within walking distance to Tanukikoji Street 5 and Susukino. Drinking water (room temperature n cold) are available at Level 2."
For our last night in Hokkaido, we drove all the way from Kushiro to this small hotel in Biei. The hotel was tiny, and although it had a second floor, there was no elevator. The staff were incredibly enthusiastic and even helped us carry our luggage, which made us feel a bit embarrassed. Our room came with a private open-air onsen, so it was quite spacious, but the futon mattress was a little hard. It made me miss my smart electric mattress back home! The food here was also great; both breakfast and dinner were typical Japanese cuisine, perfectly to my liking. Definitely recommended!
This was the most magical onsen I’ve ever been to. Pretty remote and difficult to get to if relying on public transport/taxis, however once you get there it’s so warm, inviting, and luxurious.
The onsen baths are a mix of separate genders (mostly inside) baths, but also a spectacular outside onsen for mixed genders; the staff at reception will give you a covering garment for this.
The dinner and breakfasts were truly delicious and filling but we enjoyed dining in the provided yukatas.
The real draw of this place however is the birdwatching opportunities. The main lobby boasts a huge window to a bird garden which is teeming with various species. There is an owl that often visits and perches right outside the window. The staff can also call your room during the night if it appears and you’re desperate to see it!
I had a great time. I booked a room on the top floor.
Business hotels are cramped, so I stayed overnight with a friend.
There was a sauna, karaoke, and a large TV.
It was also well soundproofed, so I could drink and make a lot of noise. I had a great time.
