This hotel is super convenient! It's right across the street from JR Hakodate Station West Exit, literally a 2-3 minute walk. The Hakodate Morning Market (seafood market) is just 90 meters away. Plus, the bus terminal for all Hakodate buses is right in front of the station, so you can easily catch a direct bus to Goryokaku, the Mt. Hakodate Ropeway for night views, and the Motomachi Red Brick Warehouses.
The breakfast here has an amazing reputation, offering both Japanese and Western buffet options. And get this – they even serve red and white wine, sparkling wine, and ice cream for breakfast!
A very comfortable stay and one I would happily return to on a future trip to Sapporo.
The room was spacious by Japanese hotel standards, well maintained, and had a grand feel without being overly luxurious. After long days of sightseeing, it was a pleasant place to return to and rest.
The location is excellent, within walking distance of Sapporo Station while still being quiet and convenient.
What really stood out was the practicality of the hotel. The airport limousine bus stops here, making arrivals and departures very easy. There are also luggage lockers available, and Yamato luggage delivery services can be arranged from the hotel.
A small tip: if you're planning to use Yamato luggage delivery, do take note of the cut-off times and delivery schedules, as they may affect your travel plans.
Overall, a comfortable, convenient, and reliable base for exploring Sapporo and the surrounding areas.
I would definitely stay here again by next week.
Had another excellent stay at JR Inn Hakodate. The hotel continues to impress with its unbeatable location right next to Hakodate Station, making travel around the city and beyond extremely convenient.
The room was spotless, quiet, and very comfortable, with a modern design and a bed that ensures a great night’s sleep. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged for a hassle-free stay.
The public bath is still a standout feature—clean, relaxing, and perfect after a long day of sightseeing or work. Staff were friendly, professional, and efficient as always.
Overall, a consistently reliable and comfortable hotel in Hakodate. Highly recommended for both short and repeat stays!

Service: Huge thanks to Jason at the front desk! He was incredibly patient and thorough when explaining all the important details during check-in. On day 3, we wanted to go to the outlet mall and asked the front desk about transportation, and it was Jason again! He was so helpful and enthusiastically looked up the travel information for us online.
Facilities: The only minor drawback was the absence of body lotion in the room, which I hadn't anticipated.
Environment: I was very pleased with the room's orientation this time; we had a view of the Ferris wheel, and on Friday and Saturday nights, the lights on the Ferris wheel were dazzling until quite late. The breakfast was also fantastic – being able to enjoy sashimi and ice cream every morning was incredibly satisfying!

This hotel, nestled in Nakajima Park, is truly perfect for families with kids. The area is so peaceful and safe. Right outside, there's a Lawson convenience store and an amazing BBQ restaurant (charcoal-grilled meat) – absolutely delicious! My child loved Nakajima Park so much, they didn't want to leave. It's ideal for a stroll with the little ones. If we weren't heading to Jozankei, I'd definitely want to stay here for a few more nights. The breakfast was also excellent, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a beautiful view of the snowy park. After breakfast, a walk in the park was lovely, and there's even a popular cafe nearby. This is exactly what Hokkaido should feel like!

Tokyu Stay in Sapporo is a really nice hotel located in Odori. Very close to the Subway, nice restaurants, convenience stores & shopping. The famous Nijo Fish market is just a 10 mins walk. And of course needless to mention the awesome seafood available there. Very close to Sapporo station as well which means great connectivity to JR trains.
Room is very clean and very well equipped with electric kettle, microwave, washing machine, a small sink, few kitchen utensils etc. Enough to stay for a slightly longer period if one wants to. Room space was slightly on the compact side though manageable. They have options for room cleaning everyday if you want to but can opt for eco cleaning options that are more environment friendly. That’s appreciated. They also have a free coffee machine at their lobby which was also really nice.
Overall a very nice stay. Will stay again.
Clean and tidy. Convenient transportation, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. It's a quiet spot despite being centrally located. Even without taking the JR, the airport bus stop is very close for both arrival and departure, just an 8-minute walk away.
The room was incredibly comfortable, clean, and spacious, allowing us to open two suitcases simultaneously. The hotel's location is super convenient, with direct access to both the subway and JR lines. It's perfect for shopping, with department stores and convenience stores nearby. The hotel staff were very friendly. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise; I chose the French Toast with bacon, and the sweet and savory combination was just right. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again next time.
This was my third stay, and it was just as great as the previous times. I enjoyed watching the cruise ships and the sea, and loved the open-air onsen on the top floor. By coincidence, there was an earthquake during my stay, and it was quite shaky, but the hotel's emergency response was excellent, which helped everyone feel less nervous and worried!
A very peaceful space. The staff are very friendly, especially to the kids. Only a couple blocks from Odori Park, and right around the corner from the old government building. The set breakfast was a very interesting and unique experience. The onsen was very nice as well. The kids had fun playing is the little corner of snow across the street

GGuest UserAfter working through New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, I finally got to relax at Daiichi-san after 10 years. The open-air bath by the river's gentle murmur was incredibly soothing, both for body and soul. The dinner was perfectly seasoned; I could eat it without getting bored, and the breakfast accompaniments and pickles were also delicious. The audio room, the coffee and soft-serve ice cream in the lounge, and the 24-hour coffee and tea service were all fantastic – there was so much to enjoy, I couldn't even try everything! It seems like there are more international staff now, but everyone spoke Japanese very well and handled irregular situations smoothly, making for a very comfortable stay. I even got to see a Blakiston's fish owl, and all the staff were wonderfully cheerful and charming.
HHemashijianI came to Liyi Island to travel and chose this one. There are not many choices on the island. The price is not cheap, but I don’t want to live in some homestays. There is no separate bathroom. This is a formal hotel. The room is very spacious and the view of the room is good. There are also free hot springs to soak. But you have to pay a tax of about 600 yen. If you walk from Lizhang Port, it takes 15 minutes. There are convenience stores around the hotel. The hotel provides free bicycle rental. It is very convenient to go around. There is also a free bus to the airport or port. It is very intimate. We set Subo, and the meal will not be evaluated.
Kkishin214I had a great time. I booked a room on the top floor.
Business hotels are cramped, so I stayed overnight with a friend.
There was a sauna, karaoke, and a large TV.
It was also well soundproofed, so I could drink and make a lot of noise. I had a great time.
