The hotel is very good and conveniently located near many attractions, making it easy to explore the area. The room was comfortable and the overall environment was pleasant.
What made the stay even better was the excellent service from the staff. In particular, Jason provided outstanding support and service throughout my stay. He was very helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist whenever needed. His professionalism and warm attitude truly made a great impression.
Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel boasts a refined and comfortable ambiance, coupled with an excellent location that makes sightseeing and getting around incredibly convenient. The service was exceptionally thoughtful; on a rainy day, they proactively helped us load our luggage into the car, a detail that truly stood out. The evening oatmeal porridge was deliciously soft and warming, both comforting and good for the stomach. Overall, our stay was very pleasant and I highly recommend it!

Humans' anxieties all stem from an imbalance between internal chaos and external order. As Freud revealed in 'Totem and Taboo,' once humans enter culture, they fall into an irreversible alienation. This primary anxiety, a fundamental castration complex, means the subject can never find peace. Yet, it is precisely the establishment of this primary repression that supports the sliding of the signifying chain. In cities filled with noise, overstimulation, and overflowing desires, we are long exposed to unconscious pressures of anxiety, intrusive interpersonal interactions, and violated spatial boundaries. This hostel, Guihua Zaijiu Hostel, located on Huimin Street, unexpectedly became a rare transitional space and a field for spiritual healing.
When I stayed in this hostel, I experienced the feeling of being embraced by what psychoanalytic theory calls an 'ideal safe object.' Its extreme cleanliness and tidiness were not just about physical comfort; they subtly echoed Freud's interpretation of cleanliness and anxiety. The orderly and spotless environment acted as a barrier, isolating my subconscious fear of disorder and impurity, allowing my wandering id to lower its guard and return to a state of relaxation and security. The service, just right, without overly intrusive gazes or cold detachment, perfectly aligned with Lacan's emphasis on the subject's need for a sense of boundaries. Not judged, not symbolically hijacked, but gently accepted, it allowed me to shed my social mask and suppress my true emotions, achieving a momentary integration of self in my own space. Even more precious is its location, offering a quiet retreat amidst the bustle: downstairs, the vibrant reality of human life and desires; turn back, and it's a peaceful, undisturbed spiritual sanctuary. This perfectly embodies the balance point between inner and outer worlds described by Lacan, satisfying both the perception of life and the guarding of inner order. Coupled with its affordable price, it completely stripped away the identity symbols that capital imbues upon accommodation, eliminating the castration anxiety brought by money, allowing one to return to their most authentic state of being. This hostel, hidden in the city, lacks elaborate packaging but, with its stable, clean, and gentle qualities, has become an excellent subconscious refuge for urban wanderers, soothing anxiety and settling the mind and body.

The location is convenient for getting around, and it offers great value for money. I'll definitely choose this place again next time! I especially want to commend the front desk lady here; she proactively added me on WeChat, consistently sent important notices, and checked on my stay experience, resolving any issues immediately. Thumbs up!

My friends and I stayed at The Westin Xi'an (Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City) during our trip to Xi'an, and the experience was absolutely fantastic!
**Excellent Location:** The hotel is perfectly situated right next to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City. It's just a few minutes' walk to the attractions, making it incredibly convenient for enjoying the night views without any hassle getting around.
**Elegant Environment:** The overall design is inspired by the Tang Dynasty, giving the lobby and public areas a wonderful ambiance. The rooms are spacious and bright, with great natural light and views. The 'Heavenly Bed' truly lives up to its reputation – once you lie down, you won't want to get up, ensuring a super high-quality sleep.
**Thoughtful Service:** From check-in to check-out, the staff were all very warm and attentive. They were quick to respond to any requests, and their attention to detail was truly heartwarming.
**Cleanliness and Facilities:** Both the rooms and public areas were exceptionally clean. The facilities were comprehensive and well-maintained, and the gym, pool, and other amenities were also excellent, fully meeting the standards of a five-star hotel.
Overall, whether you're traveling with friends or on a leisure vacation, this hotel is an excellent choice for your trip to Xi'an. Highly recommended! 👍

The location of the Hampton by Hilton Xi'an South Gate City Wall is absolutely unbeatable! It's just a few minutes' walk to Yongning Gate and the subway station, making it super convenient to get to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the smart devices were a big plus. The soundproofing was also quite good. The breakfast offered a great variety, with both local Xi'an snacks and Western dishes. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and check-in was quick. Staying here made my trip to Xi'an worry-free and comfortable. Highly recommend!
It was a beautiful moment to be there. I’m a female and I was traveling alone. And it totally felt safe to be there. Most of the team that I’ve seen were female too and they were always very helping if I needed something. Location is not so far from the Center and very quiet. I had the family room and the room is very spacious, isolated(in a good way) and cozy. Many windows but warm, the bathtub and the water was very hot. Very high ceiling and it’s always the best! Sometimes it’s important to have a great hotel by yourself if you are traveling alone, it totally gives you better feeling of the city and welcoming energy. For that it was a very good price. I’ll definitely come here again if I come back to X’ian one day and I already recommended my friends to stay here. Thank you so much Yixi hotel. Happy new year!

The rooms perfectly balance traditional Tang-style elegance with modern comfort. They are spacious and airy, with excellent natural light and soundproofing. The soft furnishings are simple yet refined, incorporating traditional patterns and wooden elements without feeling overly heavy, showcasing style in every detail. The bedding is soft and gentle on the skin, ensuring a stable and comfortable night's sleep. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, with stable water pressure and temperature. The toiletries are of good quality, and the cleanliness is meticulous, with no dust in the corners, providing peace of mind. Both the garden view and lake view rooms offer expansive vistas; opening the window reveals lush greenery. Sitting by the window, sipping tea and watching the courtyard's flowing water, is truly a therapeutic way to unwind from travel fatigue. The exceptional service is also worth mentioning, particularly 'Ningzhi' at the front desk, who handled issues promptly.

GGuest UserThis Aman hotel is perfect for families with kids. The hotel has an antique charm and is less than 10 minutes from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City. The back gate leads directly to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Park, with its beautiful garden architecture, which is very convenient. The room facilities are excellent, and our room had a balcony. The terrace room felt especially comfortable. Any issues we had were promptly resolved by the front desk staff. Afternoon tea was even delivered to our room. The location is superb, so there's no need to walk far. The staff provided excellent service. I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Xi'an. This hotel is fantastic, highly recommend!
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, right next to the subway exit. You see it as soon as you step out. The room is spacious, and they offer unlimited bottled water, even warm ones, which is a really thoughtful touch. There's also a direct drinking water dispenser in the room, which is fantastic. The service is great too. After checking out, I forgot a piece of clothing and didn't even realize it myself, but the hotel specifically called to notify me. I was too busy enjoying myself to take photos of the hotel, so here's a scenic shot instead.
GGuest UserThe hotel's guest services proactively contacted me two days before check-in to add me on WeChat. Overall, my stay was excellent:
1. **Location & Transportation:** It's right next to Longshouyuan Station on Metro Line 2, making it convenient for both taxis and the subway. There's a decent-sized mall across the street, and Impressions City, along with the Yeweiyang night market street, are within a 10-minute walk – very convenient.
2. **Dining:** The hotel's breakfast buffet is quite extensive, offering a good mix of Chinese and Western options. They also feature local specialties like 'paomo' (crumbled unleavened bread in lamb broth) and 'saozi' noodles. On the second floor, there's a popular steakhouse with good food and reasonable prices. The in-room dining service is also affordable; I recommend the 'paomo' and 'roujiamo' (Chinese hamburger) – both are authentic and delicious.
3. **Room Facilities:** As an older five-star hotel, some facilities show their age and have minor issues, like a sticky door lock or a slow-draining sink. Personally, I found these easy to overlook. The 5th floor has an indoor heated pool, open daily, which is great for kids to play and relax.
4. **Hotel Service:** The service here is excellent, truly embodying a spirit of making guests feel at home. From the moment we arrived and they opened the car door and handled our luggage, to the complimentary suite upgrade and the fruit plate for my birthday – everything was perfect.
My family was very satisfied with this stay, especially considering the great value for money. Highly recommended.
GGuest UserAbsolutely wonderful! The guesthouse owner was incredibly thoughtful and welcoming, making me feel the true hospitality of the people from Northern Shaanxi. They picked us up and dropped us off at the train station, and even took us to the entrance of Mount Hua, then picked us up again after we were done. The room was also beautiful, spacious, and very clean (though I forgot to take pictures!). I'd definitely stay here again next time.
I also bought a bowl of egg fried rice from the owner's wife – it was delicious! Truly fantastic!!!!! We really struck gold finding this place.
GGuest UserLocation: The hotel is located south of the city center. There's a bus stop right outside, making it quite convenient to get to the Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter.
Facilities: The lobby and reception area have an artistic vibe, showing a clear effort in creating a pleasant atmosphere. The mattress was great and comfortable, but the pillow was uncomfortable and gave me a stiff neck.
Cleanliness: It was alright. Everything being black made it hard to tell if it was dirty or clean.
Service: Make sure to use the 'Do Not Disturb' sign, otherwise, the staff will knock on your door early every morning, which is incredibly annoying. However, if you leave without pressing 'Make Up Room', it definitely won't get cleaned.
Also, the more expensive 'Superior King Room' is actually far less comfortable than the cheaper 'Comfort Deep Sleep Room'.
The last picture shows a rip-off tobacco shop in the Muslim Quarter. Avoid it at all costs! They charge double the price of outside shops, clearly targeting tourists!
GGuest UserThe hotel is located right at the entrance of Zhubashi South Courtyard. You can find local delicacies in the nearby Zhonglou residential area, and it's within walking distance to the Bell and Drum Tower scenic area. It's also close to Zhonglou and Guangji Street subway stations, with plenty of dining and shopping options around, offering a rich local vibe. The guest rooms and bedding are changed for each new guest. The butler was friendly, and the follow-up after check-out was a nice touch. The room facilities are well-designed with a good wet/dry separation, and the 'birdcage sofa chair' is charming and compact! Overall, I had a very satisfying experience and would definitely come back if I have the chance.
BBella97I booked the Dongshe Hotel for my family visiting Xi'an, and they stayed for three days. They kept praising my choice of accommodation, saying it was incredibly comfortable.
1️⃣ **Thoughtful and Practical Facilities**: The room came with a humidifier and a spacious shower, with stable water temperature and good water pressure. The mattress was just right—not too soft, not too firm—and my family said they slept soundly for all three nights. The hallways and rooms were also spacious, making it easy to maneuver luggage.
2️⃣ **Impeccable and Reassuring Cleanliness**: My family reported that the cleaning was exceptionally thorough. The bedding and towels were soft and fresh, the vanity and mirror were sparkling, and the floors were so clean you could walk barefoot without a problem.
3️⃣ **Convenient Yet Quiet Location**: The hotel is right near the Muslim Quarter, so it's easy to step out for food and shopping. However, it's not on the main street, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustle.
4️⃣ **Proactive and Warm Service**: Hotel staff greeted them warmly every day, and there was even a hand-drawn map in the room, which was a lovely, thoughtful touch. Any small issues they encountered during their stay were resolved immediately.
MM427261****The location is great, and the place is clean and tidy. The service is excellent, definitely worth a stay. If you're a fan of Roujiamo (Chinese-style burger), it's even more convenient as there's a shop right downstairs. The restaurant downstairs is also affordable and good value for money.
GGuest UserStaying at Wyndham during the Chinese New Year, we were greeted by an uncle dressed in Jinyiwei (Imperial Guard) attire who enthusiastically opened the door for us. A kind lady in a black suit then proactively guided us to check in, and the front desk attendant even gave us some Guoba (crispy rice snack). Although there was a minor issue with the room initially, it was quickly resolved. In fact, there were many wonderful and enthusiastic hotel staff, like Kiko, Zhao Jiaxi, Liu Ye, housekeeping staff Wang Ni, and many other unnamed service personnel who were all excellent. Every staff member we encountered would proactively greet us and were always ready to answer any questions. The breakfast was also very generous with a wide variety of options, including many Xi'an specialties, and the restaurant service was excellent. Plus, the hotel is right next to the Grand Tang Everbright City, allowing us to get there before the crowds. However, there were some minor drawbacks, such as the mattress being too soft, which wasn't ideal for my back pain, and the pillows lacking resilience, causing neck discomfort after prolonged sleep. It would be perfect if they could upgrade the bedding.
GGuest UserThe hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right next to the subway station and in the absolute city center. It's an easy walk to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and City Wall, and dining and shopping are super accessible. We even found an entrance to Kaiyuan Mall right across from the hotel, making it incredibly easy to pop over. Since we had a large group, the hotel gave us their biggest family room. Both the front desk staff and housekeeping were really friendly and helpful. Plus, our room wasn't facing Muslim Street, so it was very quiet at night. Before coming, I read a lot of reviews. Some complained about food smells in the elevator from outside, and others mentioned noise from the KTV downstairs in summer. These are external factors the hotel can't control, so it's unfair to blame the hotel for them. When I book a hotel, I primarily look at negative reviews. If the complaints are from a few overly demanding guests and aren't due to the hotel's own shortcomings, I feel confident choosing it. I don't believe in being overly critical. However, if the negative reviews are clearly due to the hotel's own issues, I absolutely won't choose it. So, my choice this time was again correct; everything was excellent. Personally, I highly recommend this hotel! I was so busy exploring and taking care of the kids that I didn't get a chance to take photos of the hotel room, so here are a few scenic shots instead!
