Romantic Hotels in Jiangxi, China

I think I’m pretty good at finding hotels. All the way out here in the U.S., I actually managed to find this traditional-style guesthouse that you can’t even see from the road 😄. It’s wheat harvest season right now, so the owners had given their staff time off, but because we were coming, one of the owners traveled all the way from Shanghai just to host us. 🌹 Her name is Ms. Peng—she’s a university graduate from 1981 and a professional architectural designer. She designed the entire guesthouse herself. Every corner here is beautiful, and I can’t even take photos fast enough to capture it all.

The Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep. The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal! You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience. The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰 The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth. It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.

The environment is quite good, and the room is well-equipped.

This hotel is great! From check-in to check-out, the service is super considerate. The room is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, and the breakfast is delicious and varied. The location is also very convenient. It is very comfortable to stay here. I sincerely give it a five-star rating and will choose here again in the future!

Shangrao Yuexi New Century Grand Hotel Kaiyuan was an absolute revelation! This Huizhou-style garden hotel, nestled at the foot of Lingshan Mountain, with its white walls, dark tiles, and quaint bridges over flowing streams, felt like stepping into a traditional Chinese ink painting. The lobby, a renovated ancient house, boasts old trees and bluestone slabs everywhere, creating an incredibly serene atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and elegant, furnished with wooden pieces and equipped with smart devices. The bedding is super soft, and you get stunning mountain views right from your window. The service was impeccable; the front desk staff were very welcoming, and the shuttle bus was always available on call. Breakfast offered authentic local specialties like Qianshan hot noodles and Dengzhan Guo, which were delicious. We also got to experience Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for free, and the courtyard was perfect for photos. Overall, it's a quiet and comfortable place that perfectly blends cultural charm with a relaxing holiday vibe. Highly recommend!

Facilities: The room facilities are complete, clean, and hygienic. The breakfast offers a rich variety. The front desk provided a free room upgrade and their service was enthusiastic. Parking is convenient. Environment: The room environment is beautiful, with a balcony offering stunning mountain views. The location is right next to the Jinsha cable car, which is very convenient.

The hotel is in the style of the Republic of China. The rooms are warmly decorated and fully equipped. It snowed on Mount Lushan. The staff called in advance to inform us of the situation on the mountain and the time to take public transportation. They would arrange for a driver to pick us up and turn on the air conditioner and heater in advance. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and recommended a suitable route for the elderly and marked the order of the tour on the map. There is a table in Jiaohe for breakfast.

We had a great stay here! All the personnel was nice and attentive, we were registered pretty easily. The hotel offers a pick up service , which is quite convenient. We had a room with a skylight and a balcony, which was the best. In the morning and in the evening you can sit at the balcony and enjoy a nice view. The room is clean and the towels are changed every day. They serve Chinese style breakfast from 7 to 9, see the picture attached. Since we don't know much about local transportation, they gave us a ride to the local transportation hub where we could hop on a sightseeing bus. Once you get back from your trip in the evening, you can have a nice stroll from a busy Guling street area, it's down the hill and it takes you about 15 minutes to get back to the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay in this hotel, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to have a real mountain view from their hotel room☺️

I booked the 'Autumn Sunning' view room, which is right above the 'Sunning' area. You can see the sunning grounds as soon as you open the window, and it's very close to all the main attractions. The room service was excellent; there was a dedicated staff member at the customer service center to help with luggage. What was most heartwarming was that my child lost their headphones after we checked out and took photos the next morning. The hotel promptly found them and mailed them back to me in 'Da Mei Gaodi', which was incredibly thoughtful. It was the most expensive option, but spending one night there was definitely worth it.

I specifically came to climb Mount Sanqing this time, and after comparing several hotels, I settled on Junlan Hotel. I was truly impressed by the front desk service. Upon entering, the front desk staff were polite and generous, and check-in was very efficient, so we didn't have to wait in a long line. What was most thoughtful was how the front desk attendant helped us plan our climbing route based on our estimated visiting time, helping us avoid crowded sections, and also reminded us to add layers due to the significant temperature difference between morning and evening on the mountain. Later, when we had a small issue, communication was prompt and it was handled properly. Overall, the front desk's professionalism was excellent, and their service was meticulous and down-to-earth. Combined with the hotel's tranquil mountain setting, this stay was particularly comfortable and offered great value for money. It's a perfect choice for a trip.
