i booked this trip to jingdezhen very spontaneously so i only stayed here one night, but i wish i could’ve stayed longer. this hotel is located on a beautiful, quiet tree-lined road that is central to the city’s main attractions but nevertheless quiet and tranquil. i arrived quite late around midnight and the staff kindly escorted me to my room. the room itself has very traditional, classic decor and was clean and comfortable. the slippers in particular are excellent quality. their public spaces are so gorgeous and worthy of photography and their breakfast buffet has a variety of options, including lots of veggies, soy milk and coffee which i was thrilled to see. they also have coffee in the lobby which is a really nice touch. overall i was really happy with my stay, zero complaints! and i hope to bring my family back here someday as well.

This 12-day Chinese New Year family trip, Shangri-La Nanchang was by far the most comfortable hotel we stayed in. The location is superb, with convenient transportation. The tram downstairs goes directly to all the major popular attractions.
What truly impressed me was the service; they genuinely made us feel at home. Check-in was very thoughtful. They proactively arranged our two rooms together and patiently explained why there was a connecting room in between (due to the king-size bed layout). They also meticulously inquired about all our needs. On the day we left, our child wasn't feeling well and fell asleep, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our check-out until 2 PM without any rush or催促, which was particularly heartwarming.
The room view was unbeatable, directly facing Tengwang Pavilion from the window. We could even watch the fireworks display from our room, and the staff even proactively reminded us to tune the TV to the music channel to accompany the viewing. Additionally, the robot delivery for takeout was very prompt, and the buffet dinner was affordable, delicious, and offered a wide variety of dishes. The overall experience was impeccable, highly recommended!

The villa is right in Guling Town, making it super convenient for getting around and dining. The staff helped us with our luggage the entire time, and the hotel even has its own parking spots, which solves the problem of finding parking. Since we booked two different room types for our two-night stay, the staff, considering we'd have to switch rooms in between, proactively upgraded us to an incredibly beautiful room. We were able to enjoy the snow, rime, and the mists of Mount Lu right from our room.
Shangrao Yuexi New Century Grand Hotel Kaiyuan was an absolute revelation! This Huizhou-style garden hotel, nestled at the foot of Lingshan Mountain, with its white walls, dark tiles, and quaint bridges over flowing streams, felt like stepping into a traditional Chinese ink painting. The lobby, a renovated ancient house, boasts old trees and bluestone slabs everywhere, creating an incredibly serene atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and elegant, furnished with wooden pieces and equipped with smart devices. The bedding is super soft, and you get stunning mountain views right from your window. The service was impeccable; the front desk staff were very welcoming, and the shuttle bus was always available on call. Breakfast offered authentic local specialties like Qianshan hot noodles and Dengzhan Guo, which were delicious. We also got to experience Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) for free, and the courtyard was perfect for photos. Overall, it's a quiet and comfortable place that perfectly blends cultural charm with a relaxing holiday vibe. Highly recommend!

The room is clean and tidy, with a smart toilet. The courtyard has beautiful scenery, with picturesque mountains and clear waters, and fresh air. The robot delivery service is a thoughtful touch. Breakfast is rich, delicious, and varied. We also tried pottery and took beautiful photos in the courtyard while wearing Hanfu; every shot was Instagram-worthy. There's free and convenient parking, and it's very close to the Ceramic Museum, only 1.5 km away, making it easy to get around. Dining is also convenient, with a great restaurant right next door that serves delicious food cooked on a traditional wood-fired stove.

The hotel is conveniently located about a 13-minute walk from the train station. There are also restaurants nearby, making dining easy. The cleanliness was quite good. Our first room had a bit of noise, so we paid a difference to switch to a second room. The second room had a slight smoky smell, which could be improved. The lake view was excellent. Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel's facilities and service.

What truly stood out during my stay at Howard Johnson wasn't just the facilities, but the consistently warm and thoughtful service from beginning to end. Every single detail left a wonderful impression!
Upon arrival at the hotel entrance, before I even had a chance to open the car door, a staff member quickly approached with a welcoming smile. They gently took my luggage and softly remarked, 'You must be tired from your journey,' which instantly melted away all my travel fatigue. The front desk attendant was incredibly patient and helpful during check-in – big thumbs up for that! Room service was also very prompt and efficient, and the shuttle drivers were excellent at time management.
The room was pretty standard, honestly. When it comes to hotel hardware and service, there's not much to say, everyone has different preferences.
I'm very grateful for the service at the tourist center front desk; they were so thoughtful and patient.
The hotel front desk staff were also incredibly patient, helping me with my luggage. Such a small person with so much energy, they really worked hard, I'm truly grateful!!!

Spotting the two large 'Ben Jue' signs means you've arrived at the guesthouse! Check-in was super easy, just gave them my reservation name. The guesthouse itself is lovely, and it’s a great spot for photos. We stayed for two nights and it felt like a perfect getaway. It's located right by Taoxichuan, so on our first night, we could walk straight to the market for some shopping – it's my favorite market in Jingdezhen. We also tried 'Shangzuo', which was very close to the guesthouse. Getting to other attractions was easy too; ride-sharing cars could drop us right at the entrance, and orders were picked up quickly. The breakfast and coffee at the guesthouse were excellent. Plus, since we had kids with us, it was great that they have a pottery studio on-site. The instructor was wonderful and very professional. It was perfect: adults could chat and enjoy coffee nearby while the kids did pottery.
The hotel environment is quite nice; it's a garden hotel, and you can stroll around its internal mini-park, which is very pleasant. The lobby is spacious and bright, and the staff are professional and patient, though they could smile a little more. The rooms are also very large and comfortable to stay in, and the hygiene is good. The facilities and equipment seem relatively new, probably because the hotel hasn't been open for long. Parking is very convenient with plenty of spaces; there are no parking fee barriers, you just drive straight into the hotel's parking lot.

NNadineisinshanghaiWe stayed for 3 days in this lovely hotel, the lady running the place was really nice and helped us organising trips in the Wuyuan area. From the terrace you have a great view of the village and can take great photos. The rooms are spacious and offer everything you need.
The lobby/ breakfast area has a lot of charme, since all the furniture is from another era and so the place just feels very original and homey. Even though on 2 of 3 days we were the only guests, we got a full buffet of delicious Chinese food for breakfast, including a good coffee.
The organised trips with Mister Yu were such a pleasure, he showed us the best spots in the area and was a really good driver.
GGuest UserThe Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep.
The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal!
You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience.
The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰
The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth.
It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.
GGuest UserThis is my second time staying at this hotel on this trip (two days away at Wangxiangu). The first time I had a bad experience. Because there are not many foreigners who stay at this hotel, they knew that the bad review was from me. The hotel manager personally came to apologize for the bad experience and offered me a small gift. It was very nice, but it will not affect my review. Every problem that I had last time was gone. The only thing that I thought was very strange is that I booked the same kind of room as last time, but for some reason this room did not have a desk in it. Finally, the front desk staff had a note in English and Chinese asking about my stay and making sure that I was happy. I suggest that it becomes a staff rule to ask all customers (both Chinese snd foreigners) about their stay to make sure that everyone is happy, and any problems, big or small, that do happen can be quickly fixed for the next people who stay.

GGuest UserThis hotel is great! From check-in to check-out, the service is super considerate. The room is clean and tidy, the facilities are complete, and the breakfast is delicious and varied. The location is also very convenient. It is very comfortable to stay here. I sincerely give it a five-star rating and will choose here again in the future!

OOnTheWayHNThe duplex room we booked was very spacious, with two bathrooms, and the room facilities were great. It even had a washing machine and dryer, which was very thoughtful. The front desk staff were very friendly and gave us an extra breakfast voucher for free. The hotel is right next to the Jinsha cable car, making it super convenient to catch the cable car in the morning.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in the style of the Republic of China. The rooms are warmly decorated and fully equipped. It snowed on Mount Lushan. The staff called in advance to inform us of the situation on the mountain and the time to take public transportation. They would arrange for a driver to pick us up and turn on the air conditioner and heater in advance. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and recommended a suitable route for the elderly and marked the order of the tour on the map. There is a table in Jiaohe for breakfast.
VVictoria93We had a great stay here! All the personnel was nice and attentive, we were registered pretty easily. The hotel offers a pick up service , which is quite convenient.
We had a room with a skylight and a balcony, which was the best. In the morning and in the evening you can sit at the balcony and enjoy a nice view. The room is clean and the towels are changed every day. They serve Chinese style breakfast from 7 to 9, see the picture attached. Since we don't know much about local transportation, they gave us a ride to the local transportation hub where we could hop on a sightseeing bus. Once you get back from your trip in the evening, you can have a nice stroll from a busy Guling street area, it's down the hill and it takes you about 15 minutes to get back to the hotel. Overall, it was a pleasure to stay in this hotel, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to have a real mountain view from their hotel room☺️
GGuest UserStayed one night at Huangling and overall it was a really nice and relaxing experience. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the best part is that the hotel is actually located inside the scenic area itself, which makes it very convenient to explore the village once the crowds reduce at night. Just note that you need to purchase the round-trip scenic area ticket before entering.
The service was great as well - the reception staff were attentive and helpful throughout the stay, and there is a shuttle bus service from the lobby area to the hotel. Since the hotel is located on the hillside, do expect some climbing and walking on stone stairs.
Personally, I enjoyed staying overnight because I had extra time to slowly walk around and enjoy the scenery. The views are beautiful and the atmosphere at night is very peaceful. A day trip is still doable, but it may feel a little rushed.
AAnonymous UserThe room was clean, tidy, comfortable, and bright. The room with a balcony was beautiful, and the courtyard view was stunning, especially at night. The front desk service was good. Breakfast was plentiful, and you could also have lunch and dinner at the hotel, with generous portions. The hotel also had a light show at night introducing Mount Sanqing. It's not far from the scenic spots.
