This was my first trip to Harbin, and I booked a riverside hotel near the Songhua River on Ctrip. My stay at the Harbin Habsburg River View Hotel (St. Sophia Church branch) was overwhelmingly positive, especially regarding the service and breakfast. From the greeters and front desk staff to the restaurant team, everyone was consistently described as 'warm, attentive, and caring,' making it feel just like home. They even offered complimentary access to the executive lounge, which truly showed how thoughtful and considerate the hotel is.
The breakfast was incredibly rich and featured local specialties. What really stood out was the long serving time, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, allowing us to sleep in and enjoy it as a brunch – a luxury usually only found in international resort hotels. The variety was impressive, including Northeastern dishes like 'kill-pig' stew, chicken stew with mushrooms, 'Guo Bao Rou' (sweet and sour pork), iron pot stew, frozen pears, and Kvas, along with Lanzhou beef noodles, wontons, tofu pudding, and big bone stews.
The hotel's location is also excellent. It's about a 10-minute walk (500 meters) to Central Street, the Flood Control Monument, and the Chinese Eastern Railway Bridge. St. Sophia Church and Daoli Market are within a 2-kilometer walk.
Directly across from the hotel is the entrance to the Songhua River Cableway. We stayed on the 11th floor in a high-level river view room, offering distant views of the river and Swan Castle. The night view was truly beautiful. The room was well-equipped with a humidifier (essential in dry Northeast China), heated eye masks, sleep earplugs, a foot bath, bath salts, and charging cables. They also provided a complimentary fruit platter and snacks daily, and the bottled water was from Quanyangquan.
This hotel is a 'service-driven' choice offering excellent value for money. With its thoughtful service, abundant breakfast, and convenient location, the Habsburg is definitely worth choosing. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Harbin and would even recommend it to friends.

I recently stayed at Harbin Hashi Shirley Hotel for almost two weeks. The location is excellent, making it very convenient for dining and entertainment. The room was clean and comfortable; as someone who usually struggles with sleep, I actually slept exceptionally well here. The bedding was also very comfortable! Most importantly, the front desk ladies and the cleaning staff were all incredibly nice, providing excellent service. I will definitely be back to stay again. Highly recommended!

This hotel boasts an unbeatable location right on Central Street. Step out the door and you're immediately in the heart of the action, perfect for shopping and trying local snacks. It's also just a short walk to the Flood Control Memorial Tower and Saint Sophia Cathedral, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The entire staff was warm and polite, check-in was quick, and they were always prompt in responding to any requests. Their thoughtful service made me feel completely at home. The hotel's overall decor is opulent and grand, with a magnificent and refined lobby. Every detail exudes quality, making it very photogenic. The buffet breakfast offers a rich variety, including Chinese and Western options, Northeastern specialty pastries, hot dishes, desserts, fruits, and drinks. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, and I started each day feeling fully satisfied.
The room itself was spacious and bright, meticulously cleaned, with soft and skin-friendly bedding and a mattress that was just right – neither too soft nor too hard. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a full night's sleep even though we were in a bustling area. The bathroom featured a wet and dry separation, high-quality toiletries, and strong water pressure. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, with clean elevators and public areas that were spotless and odor-free. This hotel is perfect for both leisure travel and short getaways, offering incredible value for money. Staying here in Harbin is definitely a sure bet. I'll choose this place again on my next visit and highly recommend it to all travelers!

The hotel is a beautiful old Russian-style building with an excellent location. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, just a 3-minute walk to Central Street, yet it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The interior is beautifully decorated, clean, and tidy, with new and functional facilities. What truly stands out is the hotel's service, which is incredibly thoughtful and detailed. First, the front desk gave me a complimentary room upgrade. Then, throughout my stay, the room was cleaned impeccably every day, and they offered personalized service based on my habits – for instance, noticing I drink a lot of water, they would leave extra bottles. Even my charging cables left in the room were neatly organized. On one of the days during my stay, it happened to be my birthday. While I was out, I received a call from the hotel, and they offered to order a cake for me! This truly is customer service taken to the extreme! I repeatedly declined, but in the end, the hotel ordered the smallest one as per my request, which was incredibly thoughtful. My entire stay here was wonderful, and I want to thank the hotel and all the staff.

This hidden gem of a hotel is a must-recommend! It's the best hotel I've stayed at during my trip from Hulunbuir to Harbin. The room's cleanliness was surprisingly excellent, with not even a hint of smoke. Unlike some hotels that claim to be non-smoking, only for a weird, smoky smell to hit you as soon as you open the door! The overall style is light luxury with a great sense of design. The room was spacious enough, the bedding was very comfortable, and it featured smart home tech throughout, making it tidy and convenient. The breakfast was incredibly lavish, on par with a five-star hotel. They also offer afternoon tea. While I didn't get to try the warm night porridge, it really shows how much attention they pay to service details. The location is also fantastic, super close to Central Street and Harbin Museum, and Saint Sophia Cathedral is within walking distance. They even thoughtfully upgraded my room. All in all, the value for money is outstanding, and I'm extremely satisfied! Highly recommend!

The room environment was excellent! It was very clean and spacious, with spotless bedding and a sparkling bathroom. The owner was also very kind; we arrived quite early in the morning and since the guest in the king-size room we booked hadn't checked out yet, the owner upgraded us to a twin room for free. Plus, it's very close to Harbin West Railway Station, near a subway station, making it super convenient to get to attractions.

I’ve put together a super atmospheric and practical travel guide for the Polar Bear Hotel, focusing on a family-friendly perspective. It covers the hotel's unique experiences, details on dining, accommodation, and activities, along with my honest feelings and helpful tips.
Harbin Polar Bear Hotel | Live in a Winter Fairytale, Day and Night with Adorable Animals ✨
Staying at the Polar Bear-themed hotel was the best decision for our family trip to Harbin! No need to rush between attractions; we could encounter cute arctic animals right from our bed or while eating breakfast. It’s definitely the ultimate winter getaway for kids, making their fairytale dreams come true and curing all the fatigue from our winter journey.
This hotel is located inside the Harbin Polarland theme park, and its biggest highlight is the 24-hour immersive polar bear viewing experience. Our room had a huge panoramic window, and as soon as we pulled back the curtains, we could see adorable polar bears playing, swimming, and strolling in their dedicated pool. Their fluffy appearance was incredibly therapeutic. My child was mesmerized the entire time, completely engrossed in watching the polar bears' daily lives and experiencing the cuteness of arctic creatures up close. The atmosphere was simply incredible, offering a unique experience that no ordinary hotel could provide.
The hotel breakfast was a real hidden gem! The custom-made polar bear-shaped bread was super cute and soft, and my child happily ate it all. The dining area is right next to the viewing window, so we could enjoy a warm breakfast while watching the polar bears play leisurely. It was a slow and soothing start to a winter morning, full of ritual and charm.
Besides polar bears, you can also encounter internet-famous penguins at the hotel! The daily penguin ice and snow parade is an absolute must-see. A group of round, waddling penguins marching in neat lines is incredibly cute and heartwarming. You can even get up close and interact with the celebrity penguin 'Taotao'. The atmosphere is amazing, and every photo you take is a heartwarming masterpiece. My child was screaming with joy the entire time.

My stay at the Qiuguo Hotel on Central Street during my Harbin trip was exceptional. The meticulous and thoughtful service truly elevated my experience, making it an absolute gem for accommodation in Harbin! The hotel's location is superb, within walking distance of Central Street and St. Sophia Church, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. However, what truly impressed me was the consistently attentive and warm service throughout my stay.
Upon check-in, the front desk staff were gentle and enthusiastic. The process was efficient and quick, with no unnecessary delays. Knowing we were out-of-town tourists, the staff patiently and thoroughly explained nearby attractions and must-try dining spots, even hand-drawing a simple travel map – so thoughtful and practical. They also proactively informed us about the hotel's various convenient services, meticulously answering questions about parking, luggage storage, and taxi services. Their patience and thoroughness made us feel incredibly welcome.
The detailed service during our stay was even more heartwarming. The housekeeping staff were diligent and meticulous, cleaning even the hidden corners of the room. With imported disinfectant tools, we felt especially safe and comfortable. The staff's service was incredibly attentive, proactively replenishing drinking water and toiletries, and responding to requests promptly and efficiently. The hotel even has smart robots for meal delivery, which is both convenient and secure, significantly enhancing the overall experience.
What surprised me most were the hotel's thoughtful value-added services. The lobby has a 'Vitamin Refueling Station' to boost your energy anytime, offering free drinking water throughout the day. There's even warm porridge available late at night, a comforting touch when you're tired from traveling. There was absolutely no upselling, and the service was perfectly measured, making our stay comfortable and relaxed.
Upon check-out, there was no need to wait for room inspection; we could just leave directly, which was efficient and convenient. The staff even proactively helped us with our luggage, which was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Overall, the service was professional, detailed, and caring, with every small detail reflecting quality. The value for money is outstanding, and the service far exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose Qiuguo Hotel again on my next visit to Harbin, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all fellow travelers!

We chose Mousse Sleep Hotel for our honeymoon and to attend a Wu Bai concert. A butler reached out to us on WeChat many days in advance to coordinate. We arrived at the hotel close to midnight on the first day, and they upgraded us to an even better room!
I was absolutely stunned when I opened the door. I had only mentioned 'honeymoon' in the comments section on Trip.com, and they actually decorated the room for us. It was incredibly thoughtful and much more elaborate than the decor in the five-star hotels we stayed at previously!
The essential oil patch from the complimentary sleep kit was excellent, and the essential oil scent from the diffuser in the room was also very pleasant. Whether it was because of these or not, we genuinely had an amazing night's sleep. Not only that, but you can also try out Mousse pillows in the lobby and have them delivered to your room to try for a few nights. They truly excel at promoting healthy sleep!
The hotel breakfast was fantastic, very delicious, and served in a clean and tidy environment. With the World Cup happening recently, the hotel also had plenty of themed decorations. The hotel even covered our transportation costs to and from the concert, which was a huge plus! When we checked out, they gave us beautiful refrigerator magnets as a gift. This is a truly wonderful hotel, and our stay was perfect. Highly, highly recommended!
The hotel service is meticulous and makes people feel at home from check-in to check-out. The room has a wide view and good lighting. The hotel staff is friendly and proactively helps to make people feel warm. The breakfast is rich in variety, delicious, clean and the afternoon tea atmosphere is warm. The hotel is located in the bustling area of Wanda Plaza in the city, with an elegant surrounding environment. The room was clean and the stay was comfortable. The only downside is that there is no parking lot of your own. Like recommended!

NNiutou™The Yabuli Yabuluoni Hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of the ski resort, offering incredibly convenient ski-in/ski-out access directly to the slopes and lifts. The rooms are clean, warm, and offer expansive views; you can enjoy the snow scenery right from your window. The facilities are comprehensive, with ski rental and dining all available in one spot. We'll definitely choose this place again next time. Highly recommended!

Sshirah smileRecommended homestay to stay as it is really close to Yabuli ski resort. It just 15mins to the location. Muslim friendly homestay as it also provide vegetarian food. The host is really accommodating and friendly. in terms of communication with the host, we just use we chat but as a suggestion, host should buy the translation device for seamless ad fast communication.
Location:
- 15 mins to Yabuli Ski Resort
- 10 mins to Restaurants (close to muslim restaurant too)
Accommodation:
- 10/10 Clean
- Interior is really modern and the room is really big
- Doubting to stay here? No! Absolutely will come again as the homestay is really beautiful
- Washing machine and dryer is provided
- You can even have a quick excercise with a good view
- In house restaurant where you can just go downstairs and order your food here and they will call you once the food is ready. In terms of price? A bit pricey?
- Food? Delicious! Totally chinese cuisine.
Host:
- Good hospitality
- Friendly and helpful
- You can just ask the host for any activities that you want to do, he can help you.
P/s: For Yabuli Skit Resort, I recommend you to book by yourself because I almost get scam. The ski trainer asked us to pay double for the ski lesson which this trainer is recommended by the homestay staff.
- He can help you to arrange for transportation to Snow Town or Snow village. All transportation booking can be arranged by him.

YYuryThis hotel is in an excellent location, very close to Harbin Station and Central Street. You can easily walk to Saint Sophia Cathedral from here, and there are plenty of dining options right outside. My room had a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom, and the bedding was very clean. Breakfast runs until 9:30 AM and offers a good variety. What's more, the service was fantastic – if you need more drinking water, they even send a robot to deliver it to your room!

EEarlycornThe host is very nice when I get there I have a fever host bring me to clinic and take very good care of me. Next time i will choose this hotel again. The restaurant inside the hotel is very delicious!!!
HHuanggBooked this room for the convenience and affordability and it did not disappoint. If you’re looking to be well taken care off this is the place for you. The staff was very attentive and accommodative to our requests, they went the extra mile to ensure that we’re comfortable.
I contacted the hotel staff via WeChat a few days before arrival to the place. They provide free transportation to all/most attractions in Yabuli and even free pick-up service from yabulixi train station.
To save yourself the hassle, you can book the Ski attraction directly from them, 160 Yuan/pax. They will fetch you to and fro the attraction, settle the tickets and take the time to explain to you the processes. Trust me you wouldn’t want to end up lost in that place. We went for the horse sledge ride as well, 60 yuan/pax.
Overall it was an amazing experience, very family friendly and I’d recommend it to everyone who is seeking for convenience, comfort and service.
GGuest UserThe Harbin Sunac Club Med Hotel has two robots, and they're really helpful! There's an amusement park and Sunac Mall nearby. The hotel staff are warm and friendly, and they even arranged a shuttle bus for us to Sunac Mall. The bellboy was great; he took us to the shuttle and even offered us water. When we checked out, I called the front desk, and a bellboy quickly came up to help with our luggage. It was a very satisfying stay. A special shout-out to the front desk lady – she's not only beautiful and kind, but also incredibly thoughtful. I'll definitely be staying at your hotel again because of her. She really makes your hotel stand out among so many others. Excellent service always wins, and she's a fantastic first impression for your front desk. Wishing the hotel a prosperous business and continued success!

The soundproofing in the rooms is surprisingly good; once you close the door, you're completely cut off from the outside noise.
