Just came down from Huangshan! I can't recommend Baiyun Hotel enough! Staying on the mountain is absolutely fantastic. No need to trek up in the dark before dawn to catch the sunrise 🌅
👉The location is unbeatable! It's super close to Bright Summit. In the morning, you can just bundle up in your blanket and walk 10 minutes to the viewing platform. After watching the sunrise, you can head straight back to your room for more sleep – this experience is just perfect!
✨The room was better than I expected! I thought conditions on the mountain would be really bad, but it was very clean, and there was plenty of hot water. It is a bit small though, so it might be cramped for two people with large suitcases.
💖Excellent service! The front desk staff proactively offered hiking poles and even helped us plan our route. Although the restaurant's prices are a bit high, the portions are generous. I recommend the Smelly Mandarin Fish!
⚠️Heads-up: The soundproofing isn't great; you can hear neighbors packing in the morning. I suggest choosing a higher floor for better views~
Overall, just go for it! For those who want to see the sunrise but don't want to overexert themselves, this is definitely the right choice!

The Jiuhua Mountains Julong Hotel, which is conveniently located right at the entrance of the Jiuhua Mountain Scenic Area. It was very convenient to venture around the mountain by foot. As for food, we didn’t quite get accustomed to the flavors, especially with the spices. The breakfast at Julong Hotel was good, but it can get crowded before 8 am. There is no gym in the hotel. It snowed on the 3rd day and it was chilly. The room was equiped with heater so it was ok. The walkway outside the hotel room can be very noisy, especially with kids running and adults talking. Otherwise, the overall experience was good.

Fresh back from working abroad, my family and I made our first stop straight for Huangshan. I stumbled upon your guesthouse on Ctrip and was instantly smitten.
The moment we stepped in, the walls were covered with blooming roses, so gentle and soothing, instantly washing away all my fatigue. The housekeeper was incredibly thoughtful, accompanying us throughout, helping us take so many beautiful photos, just like a natural friend. The food was an even bigger surprise; we tasted the most authentic flavors, and they even used their own cold-pressed rapeseed oil – truly heartfelt down to the core.
The environment was quiet and comfortable, providing a sense of relaxation I hadn't experienced in a long time, truly healing for the soul. In the afternoon, sitting in the tea garden behind the guesthouse, zoning out, unwinding, and sipping tea, with not a single worry on my mind. This is what travel should be like: peaceful, warm, full of life, and poetic.

onlykikiThe hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to descend into the West Sea Grand Canyon and ascend Bright Summit. It's a truly central spot.
Facilities: I feel this is the best-equipped hotel on the mountain, with an elevator and air conditioning. The rooms are also very new and even have a drying rack for clothes.
Cleanliness: Very good.
Environment: The surrounding environment is fantastic. Personally, I think it's better than Paiyun Hotel and Shilin Hotel, on par with Bright Summit and Yupinglou. The interior design is also very tasteful.
Service: Excellent! There's a butler service, and the front desk proactively upgraded our room type. They also offer guided sunrise and sunset viewings in the mornings and evenings!

Guest UserThis guesthouse is located right inside the scenic area, making it super convenient for resting after an evening stroll. The decor is charmingly traditional, perfectly complementing the Huizhou architectural style. The guesthouse itself feels like an integral part of the scenic area, featuring a garden restaurant and a coffee bar where you can even pet cats. The owner is fantastic, offering luggage pickup and drop-off services right from the bus station. It's a highly recommended place to stay.

mai7378Mount Huangshan is a mountain range of breathtaking beauty and rugged terrain. Maintaining a four-star hotel inside a 5A protected scenic area, where every supply — from food and bed linens to waste removal — must be carried up and down the mountain manually by workers, requires an extraordinary amount of effort and dedication. It is impossible to compare the operational cost and hard work behind a four-star hotel here with hotels in ordinary locations.
Even so, this hotel provided an excellent experience in every aspect. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, the food was fresh and delicious, and the staff were always warm, welcoming, and enthusiastic.
I would especially like to thank Ms. Xiao Ma at the front desk. She assisted me throughout my entire stay and helped resolve every issue I encountered, even though we had to communicate through WeChat translation. I truly appreciated her kindness and professionalism.
I highly recommend this hotel and sincerely hope to return one day with my family and friends. Huangshan is truly an unforgettable place.

Guest UserThis is my second time staying at this hotel, purely because of its location. For its spot, the amenities still offer great value for money. However, this time I booked a king room and was given one facing the street. My much-anticipated holiday, a relaxing mountain escape in southern Anhui, was ruined by a night of noise. I understand that the Yellow Mountain entrance/exit sees a lot of traffic, but the reality is I didn't sleep a wink. I'd suggest upgrading the windows on the street-facing side to high-standard, soundproof ones – it would make a real difference. The breakfast selection also seemed a bit limited. Overall though, it's still consistently good and remains one of the top-tier options in this town. These are my honest thoughts, hope they're helpful.

QiezongThe hotel room allows parking right outside, which is perfect for a road trip. It's a duplex, with the living area upstairs and the bedroom downstairs. We didn't get to enjoy the small courtyard due to the rain, which was a shame. The incense in the room was a nice touch, adding a pleasant ambiance to the damp weather. What also impressed me was the dining; both the dinner and breakfast were absolutely five-star quality. Banyan Tree truly lives up to its reputation. Next time, I hope to visit when the weather is better so I can explore more of the hotel grounds.

Guest UserThis hotel is located at the top of the mountain. The hotel butler arranged a private car to pick us up at the transfer center, where we took the VIP channel to board the Yungu cable car, saving us from long queues. After a 30-minute walk from the cable car station, we arrived at the hotel. It felt like coming home, and we were welcomed like cherished guests. All the staff felt like family. The butler kindly helped us plan our itinerary based on our schedule. Our room was very clean and cozy. After our day out, they had hot water ready for a foot bath and even a leg massager! The hotel's dinner deserves special praise; it was exquisite and delicious! I was truly surprised by the high level of culinary skill. The butler also took us to watch the sunset, and we were so lucky to witness such a beautiful sight! The next morning, they took us to see the sunrise, though unfortunately, we missed it. Nevertheless, I will definitely stay here again next time, perhaps even in winter to see the snow.
