Stayed one night at KK Sapa Hotel. We were dropped off at the back of the KK Sapa hotel at level 15. Without knowing the hotel reception lobby was on the first floor. The view from level 15 is amazing as we can see the whole Fansipan view when it is clear. We checked in at level 1 but were told to come back by 2pm. They welcomed us with warm tea. The lobby is spacious with a cosy sofa. The room given to us was at level 14 and directly facing the Fansipan view. Opposite my room was the indoor swimming pool and gym. The room is spacious and very cosy. Strong shower pressure. Strong wifi connection. Cosy beds and a huge tv with lots of TV channels. The hotel itself is walkable to the Sapa town via level 15. We took about 15mins slow walk to reach Sapa city with most of the journey on a flat road. But the road is very narrowed as two cars passing each other making pedestrians walk almost non-existent. We pretty much enjoyed our stay at this hotel . I will definitely recommend staying at this hote.l
I had a good stay here, all the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. They did their best to get me an early check-in, which I really appreciated. The location is decent, though the main entrance is quite narrow (pretty much car-width), so it’s easy to miss on your first try and during night time as well.
This is an issue for couples, nitpick for me. the hot water runs out fairly quickly. Not sure if this is common in northern Vietnam, but you’ll need to pause and wait for it to heat up again. If you’re traveling with a partner, don’t take too long in the shower or the next person might end up with cold water.
Amenities, I didn’t explore them.
Breakfast was included, with a mix of Western and Vietnamese options, which was a nice touch. Overall, a pleasant stay.
Awesome location! It’s a very easy walk to Sapa Station and all the restaurants. Plus, the hotel has clear, stunning views of both Sapa town and the mountains—totally worth it for a relaxing trip. The rooms are quite spacious, and if you check in early, you can use their shower room and drop off your bags first. The staff are also super helpful and speak English really well.
A wonderful hotel for a romantic trip. The views are magnificent, especially when it's foggy, and you get these views from all sides of the hotel. The location is a bit remote from the city, but it's not a big deal since taxis are cheap – 10-15 minutes and you're where all the cafes and the church are. The rooms are perfectly fine, and the service is good. However, breakfast is just okay; the selection isn't huge, and by the third day, I was a bit bored with it. 😉 But the views and the quiet make up for everything; they alone are worth choosing this hotel for.
The location is beautiful, about 30 minutes from the center of Sapa. We preferred this place for its tranquility and authenticity. Grab taxis are available for around 8€ to get to Sapa.
Regarding the room, it's very basic. The cleanliness was average; it could have been better. Be aware that there are many insects since it's in the countryside! Also, the rooms are poorly insulated and lack privacy. In the morning, you'll be woken up around 5/6 AM at dawn!!
Otherwise, the hotel restaurant is excellent, we absolutely loved it 😍 here are the photos. The prices were very reasonable, which saves you from having to go elsewhere.
The staff is very kind.
We arrived in Sapa before 7 AM via the Hk Sleeping Bus, and the office was incredibly chaotic and crowded. We had pre-requested a hotel drop-off service, but it was so busy that we considered just walking, as Google Maps showed our hotel was only a 10-minute walk from the office. We decided to wait a bit longer for the drop-off service, and it's a good thing we did – that walk would have been impossible! Sapa has narrow streets, lots of steep inclines, and many construction sites. If we had just walked without knowing, it could have been a real problem. Anyway, despite being on a slope, the hotel staff greeted us warmly and happily stored our luggage for free. The room was spacious and in great condition. My only minor complaint is that there was no toilet paper holder, which was a bit inconvenient. Don't expect much from breakfast. The location, however, is excellent. Sapa Station is very close, and we only took a taxi to Cat Cat Village; everything else was within walking distance. For Cat Cat, I recommend using Grab. We asked the hotel to call a taxi for us, and I feel the driver overcharged us significantly. For our departure, we had also requested a pickup. When the scheduled pickup time approached and the bus hadn't arrived, the staff members personally contacted the bus company to confirm and reassured us. Thank you, everyone! ^^
Big and clean room. Very comfy bed and nice bathroom. They have very high frequency shuttle fetchingguests to the main town area. If you are travelling by train and arrive early, you can use their shower facilities at their pool bathroom for free! Some hotels charge you extra and I definitely would recommend anyone to opt for this hotel without hesitation.
Ideally located in a beautiful mountainside position. I tried the nice hot springs pool! My individual bungalow was next to a lovely mountain stream. The service is excellent with very helpful staff. A great place to relax!
The room was clean and the staff was a helpful little boy. The AC in room was broken so he offered to change the room for me. The view from the window was peaceful, feeling immersed in the life of the village. In the morning I was lucky enough to see a rainbow from the window. And don’t forget to play with the cat in the homestay, he usually sleeps under the chair in breakfast rooom.

Amazing
HHeyarhgraciesThis place is amazing. They stay true to their words - to be eco-friendly and reduce wastage. Nam and his team were very helpful and Nam is exceptionally attentive to our needs. The room is exactly the same as the photos on Trip.com and we received a pleasant surprise with a beautifully decorated bed when they know that it’s our wedding anniversary.
The common area has a fireplace where guests can gather around and have small conversations. The food and drinks (including cocktails) were so good that almost every day we would rather stay at the resort to have our meals. Nam makes great cocktails!
Lastly, there is a resident dog, as well as a cat. Both are adorable and love to be around people. Our stay with Eco Palm House is amazing. Great place, great view, and great people! We will certainly recommend to our family and friends. Hope we are also able to visit and stay here again!
TTototunVery artsy hotel with art deco(?) details and style. Surprisingly, this hotel was built not so long ago. The decor had me fooled. haha. Room was pretty small, my room type had inward facing balcony with glass sliding doors. Pretty annoying as guests walking the elevator corridor could see into your rooms. Welcome drink was a hot choco! Breakfast hall was huge and pretty, with varied options. Tasted so-so tho (pretty disappointed with the taste, but the view and the interior was eye-pleasing so there's that). Coffee was good as always (you're in Vietnam!). Tried out their bar (Absinthe), which was listed as 'award-winning' or Asia's Top XX Bar (forget by which platform) to be disappointed with the drink collection. Cocktails were subpar at best. The hotel offers discounted VIP pass tickets to the Sunworld Fansipan area, you can purchase it at the front desk. Indoor pool was pretty but very humid (its a warm water pool). Directly connected to the Sapa Station, near shops and eateries. Pretty far from the actual Sapa market (Cho) and the lake. Overall an ok stay.

YYeh YI would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Sapa Passion Hotel and Spa. They say they aim to provide “a home away from home,” and they truly delivered on that promise.
From the moment we arrived in Sapa early in the morning, the staff kindly allowed us to check in early. After an overnight sleeper train, being able to rest a little before exploring Sapa was such a blessing. As soon as we entered the room, we were amazed by its spaciousness and cleanliness, and the clear view of the lake from our window was simply beautiful.
The receptionist also suggested several local activities for us, and although we couldn’t join due to the weather, we truly appreciated her thoughtful recommendations.
On our departure day, we took a night bus out of Sapa, and the hotel generously let us use their bathroom to freshen up before our journey. It made our departure so much more comfortable.
We felt genuinely cared for during our entire stay, and I sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sapa.
Jjeaniosityhotel was beautiful. great view, spacious. had a fireplace, complimentary bottle of wine, bathtubs. not hard to get to city centre and there is a buggy service for transport within the resort. we had a great time!
AAnonymous UserBasically, everything was pretty good. However, because it's new, the guest service seems rather lackluster. I felt the staff weren't up to par, and the areas weren't optimized for functionality. Despite being a 5-star resort, I think it's currently only considered a 4-star domestic resort. Even my room didn't have bath salts when I checked in, so the housekeeping process needs improvement. The check-out process was also quite slow. I hope the resort improves and develops better in the future.
DDeeeeengdongIt’s quite far from the downtown area, and the road has a lot of steep slopes, so walking from the city center to the hotel is difficult.
However, it’s close to Cat Cat Village, making it easy to visit on foot, and you can even see part of the village from the hotel. ^^
I looked at all the hotels in Sapa with a swimming pool, and this one is definitely in the top three.
I also liked that they have shower facilities available after swimming or even after check-in/check-out.
GGuest UserThe staff was very helpful ,friendly ,and have well communication and understanding. Its good for us to have a wonderful experience during our vacation at sapa. The hotel staff was providing some convenience for us during the vacation.good mountain view from my room. Appreciated
HHazyzPros
- Smooth liaising with the hotel through WhatsApp/instagram & trip.com itself even before our trip, very responsive & helpful in answering our queries & concerns
- We arrived in Sapa early in the morning & appreciate that we're able to check in early
- The room was very clean & cozy
- Friendly receptionist that catered to our needs
- Excellent service with morning call & offer for bellboy service to carry our luggages up to the lobby when we had to check out much earlier
- Room cleanup service was quick but also unexpected, as we went for breakfast & came back to a cleaned room. It would be nice if laxsik had a door tag for us to indicate if we wanted 'room service' or not
- We had to check out quite early in the morning, laxsik offered to give us a complete set of takeaway breakfast with fruits, sandwiches & bottled water
Cons
- We stayed in the family bungalow with 2 bedrooms & bathrooms, there was no shower gel for one of the rooms & no conditioner for the other room, it would be great if both rooms had the same amenities
- Some tiles on the bathroom ceiling of house 10 were not intact completely hence it felt unsafe & cold air seeped in which turned the bathroom very chilly
Overall we had a pleasant stay at laxsik despite the view being blocked by the fog for most of our stay, the accommodations made up for it. Do take note that it is a 10-15mins drive to Sapa town so expect to pay 200,000 vnd for a taxi. The receptionist will help you book a driver if you aren't able to get a Grab from accommodations to town. Getting Grab from Sapa town to the accommodations was quite easy. The fireplace in the lodge is highly recommended if you are staying during the cold season! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and warmed our hearts and bodies.
