Hotels With breakfast in West Sumatra, Indonesia

The location is about 40mins from the airport. Service was prompt and friendly. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was way better than expected with a wide spread and excellent local cuisine. Food quality was much better than most other hotel breakfasts I’ve tried.

It is the best hotel nearest to every POI in bukittinggi. The hotel's Saka Cafe level 4 provides great ambience and view overlooking scenic town view and panoramic view of the mountain and valley. The superior family room we were staying in is spacious and comfortable most suitable for 3 people. The breakfast was decent serving traditional delicacy. Toast and cereal for kids are available. The seating is limited but there was no queue problem. The exception is the only lift operational is slow serving 6 levels. However, we got around this by using stairs which are quite steep and hard on my poor knees. So, if you are visiting together with elderly with walking difficulty perhaps it would be best to stay in the rooms nearest to the ramp nearby the reception.

The hotel beautifully reflects classic colonial-era architecture, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The hospitality of the hotel staff made our stay even more enjoyable. The young gentleman at the reception who welcomed us upon arrival was exceptionally friendly, warm, and helpful. Throughout our stay, every member of the staff treated us with genuine kindness and professionalism. Whenever we asked for recommendations on places to visit, they were always happy to share helpful suggestions based on what we were looking for, which made exploring Padang much easier and more enjoyable. The housekeeping team also provided excellent service. Every day, they would politely ask if we would like our room to be cleaned and whether there was anything else they could assist us with. Their attentiveness and willingness to help made us feel well cared for throughout our stay. Overall, we were extremely happy with our experience. The excellent service, warm hospitality, and attention to detail made our stay truly memorable, and we would gladly choose to stay here again on our next visit to Padang.

Excellent service with delicious food... the outdoor pool is decent, but the water needs to be changed more often... but overall, it's great!

Big room with balcony. Great staff. 24hrs room service. Only is the toilet is not clean. Theres a mold. & look old. But the room is nice. The bed is soft. Sleep well. U can ask the reception to book for a body massage at all times. The breakfast was great with full of local food. Night time they have a live band which u can sing along or just request any songs. The restaurant served delicious food. Its not expensive. Location only 5mins walk to Ramayana & Jam Gadang.

Really like the ambiance, location, fluffy bed including the additional bed thick and fluffy bed. I will come back here because the convenience and comfortable. Maybe hotel need to upgrade the curtain, wash the sofa a bit and maintenance the wall. The small improvement need to do the rest all excellent for me.

The hotel was clean, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed. I especially loved the fresh plant in the room and the premium scent of the body wash, small touches that made me appreciate my stay. The breakfast was splendid, very local very indonesian dishes. The only downside was the air conditioning. Even when set to 17°C, the room never felt cold enough. We reported it and an engineer inspected it, but unfortunately, there was no noticeable improvement. We decided not to be a karen and make a fuss so we stayed in the room for 3 nights, although it became slightly warm and uncomfortable intermittently. Perhaps the hotel could offer a small fan in room at least if a room change cnnot be done. Overall, however, the stay was great. I give 4 out of 5 star.

Great for riders touring West Sumatra.

I was very disappointed. I booked a room for my parents and grandchildren. I booked a room which is written 24m2 with balcony. I had stayed there before, that's why I know it's supposed to be spacious room. But they only get small room 17m2 not as mention in the details just because of the name not ”grand deluxe” but I paid more than ”deluxe price”. The same price with the published rate for ”grand deluxe” directly in the hotel. And there is no ”grand deluxe” In the room choices in Trip. They can't ask for extrabed because there's no space. And also when 1 adult with 2 kids having breakfast they still ask for extra fee. I know this rule but i just felt not fair to pay after overpriced for the disappointing room

Located a few hundred meters from a waterfall. Beautiful scenery around. Friendly and helpful owner. The chalet is basic and rustic which suited me fine. Kettle and tea bags provided. Doesn't have aircon but the air is cool so the fan js the room was sufficient. Towels provided. A number of food stalls nearby. The room has a slight musty smell but its not that bad. Language may be an issue because everyone only speaks Indonesian. The only mode of transportation in and out of the area is a becak which you can ask the owner to call for you. There's a small warung in the resort run by a very nice lady. There's not hot water or shower, you bathe from a tub of water.
