Hotel was good. But you need to prepare your own bottle as they don’t provide bottled water. Instead, they set up a filtered water tap in the toilet.

Overall, we had a pleasant staycation experience. 👍 Pros: 1. The room was very spacious and comfortable. 2. Mattress and pillows were extremely comfy – had a good night’s sleep. 3. The bed was huge, perfect for relaxing. 4. Clean room with a modern layout. 5. Furniture looked new and well-maintained. 6. Breakfast had a good variety and everything tasted delicious. 7. The swimming pool is large, and the hotel has its own private beach – great for a relaxing getaway. 8. The room is equipped with an iron and ironing board, which was very convenient. 👎 Cons: 1. Our room was on Level 7, and during our stay one of the lifts was under maintenance. We had to use the stairs from Level 4 to Level 7, which was quite inconvenient.

We had an overall pleasant stay at Avilion Port Dickson, especially enjoying its unique architecture and relaxing seaside atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the resort still carries a charming, resort-style vibe that makes it suitable for a short getaway. We stayed at Lisboa (Room 3xx with sea view), which offered a nice view, though during our stay in January 2026 the resort was quite crowded. This affected the overall tranquility, especially in common areas. Additionally, some parts of the building feel a little dated, and more regular maintenance would definitely help enhance the guest experience. For future visitors, I would recommend Tumasek (Room 9xx) instead, as it offers a clearer view of the water and better access to a nicer, cleaner beach area, which seems more enjoyable and scenic. Overall, Avilion Port Dickson is still a lovely resort with great potential, but improved maintenance and better crowd management during peak periods would make the stay even more enjoyable.

The room was clean and had a view of the ocean from the balcony! It was amazing 😆 You can walk to the beach in no time, and there's even a mosque right next door, which is great! The air conditioner broke down partway through our stay, but they sent someone to fix it right away after we contacted them, and their service was excellent! The breakfast was delicious, and we had a fun and comfortable stay ✨

Overall the hotel facilities and services are good. Cleanliness need to improve especially at common area corrridors and bathroom. Location is very good and the beach site is considered quite clean compared with other sites. The swimming pool is long & clean less chlorine. Will book again for next trip.

Booked a sea-facing room but as it was overbooked, hotel upgraded me to a sea-facing SUITE for free 😍 Really enjoyed the spacious bedroom, bathroom and living area which also had a nice bay window. While the hotel is old and in need of refurbishment (which was ongoing during my stay), I found the facilities were generally acceptable and my room was CLEAN. There are also cold refreshing drinks in the lobby in the afternoon. Staff were polite and accommodating (I asked for a late check out and got my room until 2pm). Service at the cafe could be better — staff didn’t seem well trained and food was slow to serve but they were polite and offered some cakes and fruits while we waited. I recommend the Nasi Goreng!! There is also a very good Chinese zichar just opposite the resort (Team Park). The beachfront at the hotel is nice and perfect for a long walk in the mornings and evenings. Be prepared for mosquitoes and sandflies.

Check in was smooth. Although they did ask for cash deposit, which I was unaware of. At my end, i should have prepared some cash. But I have been cashless for long time. Reception allowed us to check in, despite zero deposit. The kids enjoyed the pool throughout our stay. We hardly left our room. The first night was scary though due to Senyar Storm. We were hardly able to sleep. The big trees, the long lamp post were swaying. Our floats flew around in the pool. The next day we saw the destruction the Storm caused and we were relieved we were all ok. The rest of the nights,it was beautiful weather. The pool was in need of repairs. The metal cover of the filter came off. The pool bed was sharp. Kids had a few cuts on their feets. The shower area beside the pool need a good washing too. Would prefer if there is a hanging rail for us to dry our swimming clothes.

Check in was smooth. However, the floor is wet and sticky once we got in, very uncomfortable. The carpets also got dirt (luckily they provided a broom). No tooth brush n tooth paste provided. Air conditioner remote also had to share between room and hall. Food ordered from rider had to be picked up at the guard house not delivered to the lobby, quite a hassle since it is far from our block B. Other than that everything else is nice and we had a good time!

This hotel is a bit old, so the hygiene and facilities aren't the best. The glass floor in the water bungalow is a selling point, but the water was quite murky this season. The service attitude was excellent though; we accidentally booked the wrong hotel online (we meant to book the Grand Villa next door). When we arrived, we talked to the front desk and they let us switch rooms after paying the difference. The first five photos are of the executive room in this hotel, and the last four are of the executive villa.

I think i wasn't given the Superior Room as depicted when i made the reservation. But somehow i didn't make a fuss as the room was still spacious & comfortable, and i was given a room early at 1pm & was just staying for 1 night. The location was good, close to eateries & amenities, and walkable to the public beach. Breakfast was so so & held in a temporary function room as the Coffee House was undergoing a renovation. But they started serving only at 7.45am even though the official time was 7.00am. Overall, a satisfactory stay.

KKen Ang SGWell maintained resort, while the location is a bit far from city centre, it’s ok since there’s nothing much to do there as well. Just chill and relax in the resort, you get to enjoy a private pool and steam room. Beds are comfortable, breakfast has wide variety of mainly local fare. Beach is 5 mins away.

GGuest UserCan this hotel see if I write in Chinese? I probably won't go there again. There is no air-conditioning, no matter how beautiful the environment is, it cannot withstand the lack of air-conditioning. After all, we are not on the top of the mountain but in the mountains. It is really fatal to have no air conditioning.
