GGuest UserWe were guests when this hotel was the Maldron. I couldn't fault them. But now it's changed hands
The receptionist was so unfriendly and so ignorant to us and 2 young boys that were looking for help. Just basically not making eye contact, refusing to answer, and when she did answer, it was short with an angry demeanor, like were bothering her. There was no hello, thank you or enjoy your stay ..just the bare communication. Also..
The manager in the bar refused to heat the babys bottle in the microwave because it was against health and safety regulations. Even though the Maldron staff were more than happy to help. They microwave baby food and bottles for me on a few occasions. The manager tried to convince me that I could possibly have something dangerous in the bottle. When I told him if they don't heat it, I won't come back, ..he sneered at me in a look that said ..well I don't care. He gave me an option after alot of arguing to heat it up in their cup with the coffee warmer. We also asked for a quiet room. The receptionist gave us a noisey room
I could hear doors next door slamming. Kids shouting and loud walking ftom the lift to the rooms.
We were right next to the lift. I was very disappointed. We returned because last time we loved it. But we won't be returning again with that attitude.

GGuest UserThis hotel has a lovely vibrant energy, friendly staff, a good gym and leisure centre, and access to parking. If planning on staying here it might be important to know that Reeds restaurant can only be accessed via package deal (slightly disappointing), however the bar offers good food to all guests. Unfortunately, the main issue my husband and I had was the very uncomfortable beds. Pillows and matterresses felt quite hard and uncomfortable, and we both struggled to sleep as a result of discomfort during our stay. Other than uncomfortable beds, we were impressed by the hotel, however we would not choose to stay here again based on the quality of beds. %#@#

GGuest UserAll the staff were very nice and attentive. Some but few weren’t well trained - a soiled damp towel for removal was left on the visitor’s bed
Although the hotel has been revamped, it still looks tired in places. Windows need replacing. Doors are chipped, Hangers for clothes all chipped. Small complaints but after redecorating these glaring oversights are now glaringly obvious

CChloe/The bedroom was beautiful, clean and spacious, the bathroom could use updating as the shower was a bit of a safety hazard, but water pressure/heat/cleanliness was very good. The staff were incredible and so helpful!! We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was amazing. I will be recommending this hotel to all my friends.

GGuest UserLocation perfect, walking distance to town. Pool and sauna was lovely on day of our arrival. Car park a bonus. Staff were lovely and friendly n helpful about restaurants and bars in the area. Will definitely return 😀

AAlexey_SwissWe were second in this hotel and the first impression was really good: the room was beautiful and very clean, the staff were very friendly (we even stopped the door) and the food in the house tasted great.
Unfortunately, there was a very big problem: we were there on a Saturday and the music of the associated bar was so loud that it was hard to think of sleep. Even with earstops the bass was still too strong to feel. Unfortunately, there is little information on the bar or its opening hours on the website. Under the week it is probably quiet, but for us the night was so unsustainable. That should be mentioned at least transparently on the booking page.
Another point of decline: the charged free parking costs at last €5. This is not a huge amount, but not free as described.
Concluded: A really nice hotel with good service, but unfortunately because of the extreme noise by the bar on Saturday night, we do not recommend for the weekend.
