A friend recommended Qilou. I stayed in this hotel for one night. I booked a river view room. The view was not so beautiful because it was raining. The breakfast was ordinary. The dinner was well cooked and reasonably priced. The taste was good. It was not a star hotel. It was a bit outrageous to charge a 10% service fee. Tea was also required. It was charged even if I didn't order it. I took a bath in the bathtub in the room at night to eliminate fatigue. As a result, the bathtub was leaking. I almost slipped. I couldn't see clearly that there was water on the tiles. I slipped and saw that it was all water. The aunt came to clean it quickly because it was too late and refused to repair it. I hope the hotel will repair the room in time. The attitude of the waiters is good.

I looked for a long time on Ctrip when I came to Baise for tourism and finally chose the Wyndham Executive Twin Room. However, except for the floor of the room, everything else seemed to be the same as the ordinary twin room. There was no executive courtesy or anything like that. I was a little confused. The hygiene looked good, and the carpet was vacuumed. The bed was also very comfortable, the air conditioner was not noisy, and the filter was also cleaned. But there were stains on the quilt. . . There were insects in the room, and they ran too fast to see what they were. Overall, it was still ok to stay. In addition, the Sanmen Haiheshe Gengchuan Cave is worth visiting.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Our stay at LS Hotel in Yangshuo was truly unforgettable. The hotel is located in the mountains, and the surroundings look like something from a fairy tale — misty hills, fresh air, and a peaceful atmosphere that helps you completely relax. The room was luxurious and very well designed. We especially loved the large bathtub, the rotating bed, and the panoramic view from the window. Everything was clean, modern, and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The food was delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised by the small gifts and the complimentary photo session, which was a wonderful bonus and a great memory from this trip. This is the best place we have ever stayed with my husband. We sincerely thank the LS Hotel team for their hospitality and outstanding service. This river-view hotel truly exceeded our expectations! The facilities are new, and all amenities are fully stocked, showing that it's well-maintained. We felt completely at ease regarding cleanliness; the room was spotless, fresh, and odor-free, making our stay very comfortable. The breakfast selection was extensive, with a good balance of meat and vegetables, and the taste was fantastic – both adults and kids enjoyed it immensely. Our favorite part was the river view; opening the window to see the river was so therapeutic. Plus, it's just a short walk to the riverside scenic area, perfect for strolls, sightseeing, or taking the kids out. The service throughout our stay was attentive and thoughtful, and the staff were incredibly friendly. We'll definitely stay here again next time!

Facilities: The facilities were excellent and fully equipped; we had everything we needed, including a washing machine, and the air conditioning was very powerful. Cleanliness: The place was spotlessly clean and very tidy – excellent. Environment: The environment was superb! With the ocean right outside the window, the view was absolutely stunning and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sea. Service: The owner was incredibly warm, thoughtful, and attentive.

The hotel's facilities are a bit dated, and the room size is just average. There was a minor incident on the day we checked in: the air conditioning in this executive room made a loud, whistling noise when it was on. Luckily, the weather wasn't too hot, so we could sleep without it. The shower drain was severely clogged; initially, I thought it was just hair and debris, but when I opened the drain cover, I realized the pipe itself was blocked. After running the shower for just two minutes, the entire shower stall would flood, enough to 'go boating,' and it took a long time for the water to drain. This also caused water to spill out onto the bathroom floor. We contacted housekeeping, and since we were very tired that day, they offered to give us a solution the next day and promptly switched us to a twin room. Overall, their attitude was good, and they handled the issue quite proactively. The hotel breakfast spread is decent for the price. The hot food at the lounge was just so-so, but given how hotels are currently cutting costs due to 'cost reduction and efficiency improvement' by their owners, it's good that the lounge is still operational at all. We drove ourselves, and that evening, we were told we couldn't park in the ground-level parking lot due to a bus, so we had to navigate to the very complicated underground garage. A doorman proactively asked if we needed a ride to guide us, which was a nice touch, as we wouldn't have found it otherwise. I suggest they update the hotel's underground parking entrance/exit location on navigation apps.

Families, this hotel is absolutely incredible! Traveling alone for New Year's, I've stayed at three five-star hotels these past few days, and this one is the last – and the most stunning. I booked the top-floor suite, and it's simply gorgeous. I got to experience the joy of a super-spacious apartment… I honestly didn't expect such high standards; it even inspired some of my personal ambitions. The space is so big I could jump rope in the living room~ (and I actually did!) The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a direct view of the golden sunrise on the mountains, which is a wonderful visual feast. Further in, there's a huge TV area, and the bed is incredibly comfortable – you could just lie there and zone out forever. Most of the room's facilities are electrically controlled. The bathtub is quite comfortable and has a very sophisticated design. The shower and toilet are separate, and the bathroom has an enormous sink and mirror. The entire room's design feels very grand, with a great sense of space, simple yet full of thoughtful details, and a high-end color palette. The moment you step out, you're met with an unbeatable mountain view; the vista is incredibly expansive, and the air is so refreshing… (compared to the city's air pollution, someone with allergies like me can instantly feel the huge difference)! Breakfast was also delicious. All in all, it's a highly recommended hotel ❤️

The Shangri-La was hands down the most unforgettable hotel of our New Year's trip to Guangxi in 2026. Neither the Hyatt in Liuzhou nor the Wyndham in Fangchenggang came close – the Shangri-La was ten times better! From the magnificent lobby and the elegant, tasteful public areas, to the breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views from the 68-meter-high sky lobby, and the meticulous room service – every staff member was warm, friendly, and efficient. Staying at the hotel itself felt like a vacation; there was no need to visit other attractions. It was an experience of art and culture. I highly recommend booking a package that includes afternoon tea. The themed afternoon tea setup was incredibly impressive, making us want to linger forever, as if we had stepped into a fairy tale. The breakfast was equally outstanding. The variety and exquisite quality of the Shangri-La's dining can't be matched by other hotels. I was particularly impressed by the local Guangxi lemon duck and the grilled pork (Mei Rou). The duck was served warm, and the moment it was opened, all the delicious oil flowed out. I couldn't stop at just two or three pieces each time! I even wanted to ask the hotel what brand they use so I could buy some to take home. The hotel offers direct access to MixC Mall, which had lively New Year's Eve festivities. It's also just a 10-minute drive to Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area, and there are several small parks directly opposite. If you take your time, you could easily stay for many days. Both the children and our elderly family members couldn't stop raving about it. We didn't want to leave at all! We'll definitely choose Shangri-La whenever we travel next. If you are concerned about the security of your belongings, think carefully before staying at this hotel. I want to state first that the receptionists and front desk staff are excellent and professional. Unfortunately, there is a serious issue with room security and unauthorized entry. I am a returning guest. First stay: 10–14 December, Room 3031 Second stay: 22–24 December, Room 3003 During my first stay, I informed the cleaning supervisor that I did not want housekeeping until 14 December. When my room ran out of bottled water, I spoke to a cleaning staff member who said she would place the water in my room later after I went out. During our conversation, my room door accidentally shut, and she used a master key card to open it. Looking back, she could have simply handed the water to me as her cart was in the hallway. On 12 or 13 December, the same cleaning staff mentioned that they “cannot earn if they do not clean my room.” Feeling pressured, I agreed to allow floor cleaning only. I stood outside the room while two cleaners mopped the toilet, changed towels, and vacuumed the carpet. On 14 December early checkout, I reached for a pair of black slack pants that had been hanging in the closet since 10 December but it was not there. At that time, I assumed the pants may have been accidentally packed into the two bags for the hotel’s luggage storage. I then traveled to other parts of China with light luggage and did no shopping. I returned to the hotel on the night of 22 December and collected my stored bags. The black slack pants were not in them. During second stay at the hotel I did no shopping. After 24th Dec flying home, I discovered something even more alarming. A bundle of newly purchased jeans for my sister and mother during my first stay—packed together in a plastic bag—was missing. At the airport on 24th Dec, my bags were shrink-wrapped and sealed, and is no wander the total weight was at least 1.3 kg lighter than expected. This suggests that someone entered my room when the room was vacant and removed items from my packed luggage. Hotel staff would have known my checkout date, and I had not opened my bags after packing. This experience has caused me great distress. While the front desk service is commendable, the lack of room security and the disappearance of personal belongings is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge management to investigate this matter seriously.

The service was impeccable! This hotel truly made us feel at home. The decor style is somewhat similar to Banyan Tree. Every staff member, including the cleaning aunties, would greet guests warmly. We had such a happy stay in Guilin. The room was very clean, and all the toiletries were excellent. I even made sure to take pictures of the breakfast. When we left, they gave us a small gift, and since we were self-driving, they escorted us to our car and waved us goodbye. Honestly, this level of service and quality is even better than what you find in Shanghai. Highly, highly recommend!
