Great location, nice rooms (we were treated to a free upgrade). Nice breakfast with fresh orange juice served in the courtyard. No parking in immediate vicinity, but you can usually find a free spot close to the sea. Quality of tea served on the premises could be improved, same for toiletries.

We had such a great experience! Room was comfy and clean and they even offered a free laundry room which was very helpful. I would also recommend the restaurant the food was amazing. Not to mention the view from the hotel was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

Come to this trip, I have the opportunity to stay here for the third time and overall it is considered the cheapest accommodation in the area. The market has everything ready to talk about it. If you come to travel, it is not very far from the beach, although it is not on the beach, but it is convenient to travel whether it is Red Sand Beach if Matala. There is also a complete equipment, whether it is a kettle, tea, coffee, provided in the room, a refrigerator, pillows, blankets, wardrobes, clothes hangers, bathrooms, soap, after the hand, the effect is done.

Groot hotel, helaas niet de kamer gekregen zoals geadverteerd. Deze was meer gedateerd en zat tussen de drukte terwijl ik had gevraagd om een stille kamer. De airco is al eeuwen niet schoongemaakt, vol stof, geel van viezigheid en geeft veel lawaai. Bed was erg fijn.
Het eten is erg goed en veel keuze bij zowel dinner als ontbijt buffet. De lunch was ik te laat voor ingecheckt dus kan ik niet beoordelen. Veel zwembaden, prachtig strand.
De spa is heel fijn. Ik boekte de scrub massage en oksels waxen. Perfect!
Personeel heel erg vriendelijk, niets is te gek. Ik wil in het speciaal George bedanken voor de fijne avond en de goede service.
Bushalte nr 24 voor het autoverhuurbedrijf, aan je linkerhand vanaf de ingang gerekend. Elke 20 minuten een bus naar Heraklion, of andere plaatsen.
Het Centrum van hersonnisos is 10 minuten lopen.

IDI hotel is uitstekend. Net buiten Stavros, maar niet te ver om in een paar minuten gezellig authentiek Grieks te kunnen eten.
Het ontbijt is prima met veel keuze. Eten kan binnen in het restaurant of buiten op het terras.
Dineren zoals gezegd in het dorp of in de taverna naast het hotel.
Alles tegen zeer schappelijke prijzen.
Het zwembad is groot. 1.50 diep. Veel ligstoelen en schaduwrijke plaatsen.
De kamers zijn allemaal gerenoveerd. Heel smaakvol.
We hebben er een week gezeten.
Overdag ook vaak naar Matala (20 min met de auto ) Fijn strand en qua drukte goed te doen

Of the three hotels I have visited for a week in Crete, this hotel is the most calm, maybe because it is not near the center and young people a little bit.
The room is good, but I was unlucky with the location of the room. My balcony was right above the stairs. I couldn't eat quietly because people were constantly coming out of their rooms or coming in. I lived like a little straight in a street cafe. In general, I didn't have enough privacy, and because of this location of the room I heard everyone who used the stairs. I think those rooms that go out the other side are more quiet. The area of the hotel is beautiful! The Internet and air conditioning are absolutely free, unlike other hotels in Crete. By the way, many hotel owners in Crete do not indicate information on hotel booking sites about paid air conditioning, safe and Internet. Here all these services are free. Bed and pillows are just super, for this separate thanks to the hotel administration. There is even a urine, a dishwashing tool and a kitchen towel, which is rare not only for Crete but also other parts of Greece. Thank you very much for that too!
In general, excellent hotel! I recommend to people who are looking for silence and privacy with nature!

AAnastasia123I stayed here with my mom for one night, and we were both very impressed. The value for money was excellent, and the room actually exceeded my expectationsāit looked even better in real life than in the photos. We had a beautiful view from the window, and the location was perfect: quiet, yet only a two-minute walk to the beach. Same for bus stop to Chania.
The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless, as was the bathroom, and it was equipped with everything we needed. It felt more like a small apartment, complete with a kitchen and a spacious balcony where we really enjoyed spending time.
We liked it so much that we even wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately the rooms were already fully booked for our dates. Overall, a wonderful experience and a place I would definitely recommend.

GGuest UserWe stayed here for 4 nights. I had booked a sea view room, but they said it was upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi. While the jacuzzi was nice and relaxing, the sea view was quite limited, which was a bit disappointing.
The property is located in a remote and peaceful part of the island. It has excellent internet access and a decent outdoor gym. Since it is right by the sea, you can enjoy walking or running along the coast to the nearest town, Mavrikianon.
One important thing to mention is that the property does not have direct access to the sea. To swim, you need to go to either Plaka Beach, which requires a minimum spend of ā¬40 per person to use the sunbeds, or to Mavrikianon Beach, which is much more affordable at ā¬5 per person for the entire day. Mavrikianon Beach is very pleasant and close to markets where you can buy drinks. There are also some good food and drink spots nearby, such as Rudiās Bar, a British-style pub, and Porto Rino, which serves great pizzas. Make sure to skip Nicoās Fish Tavern and try the Ferryman instead ā you wonāt regret it.
What we found most frustrating was the lack of mosquito screens on the windows. Sleeping with the windows open was not really an option, even though the natural breeze was wonderful. Our room had air conditioning, but we tend to get sick sleeping with it on. There was a ceiling fan as well, but it is a shame to miss out on the fresh air simply because of a missing screen.
The breakfast was also a disappointment. There were very few options, the coffee was not good, and the omelettes were overcooked.
The most inconvenient part of our stay was the parking system. You have to check in and out with security every time, which felt excessive and time-consuming. It gave the impression of entering a high-security zone, not a relaxing holiday resort.
Overall, it was a good experience with some nice features, but for the price, it lacks comfort and convenience in a few key areas.

GGuest UserIt was not peak season, maybe because of that staffs were not so prepared. I waited long time for the pick up from the reception to the hotel room, same for when I tried to ask for an umbrella and other information. Staffs seemed always busy talking on the phone or with each other. My door had some problems , you need some skills to open it, the shuttle bus driver spent five minutes opening it.
Staffs in the restaurants were friendly, fairly speaking, the buffet restaurant was quite nice, catering diverse and delicious food.
The seafood restaurant served a set menu, for which I held high expectations since I was only allowed to replace one buffet dinner for a la cart restaurant. Food itself was fair, albeit overseasoned( to me was too salty), and two or three dishes will be served at the same time and honestly they were not even hot.
Room service was very efficient and the room was always clean. Private pool was nice, thought it was cold and windy now. So check the weather before going, sunny days and rainy ones are totally different experience. Hotel beach was beautiful, but again, I didnāt get my Paloma cocktail after waiting for half an hour.
They provided interesting shows in the evening , I pitifully missed it but you need to have a look, performer are quite passionate.
And about transportation, you can choose either hotelās pickup that is expensive but convenient, or the local bus ( i chose KTEL, itās very comfortable but please check the timetable on the website). This place is distant to everywhere, you can use a nearby supermarket that has everything at a fair price. If possible, youād better rent a car, which could significantly improve your experience .
I didnāt enjoy myself this time, somehow because of my personal affairs, hopefully you have a good time there!

Me and my boyfriend had a very bad situation.
We went to a tour in Santorini and the Ferry boat was late on the way back. Our guide called the hotel asking for a late dinner for us and the hotel said they would provide.
When we reached in the hotel we saw that they put our food ON THE FLOOR, close to the room door.
I made a mistake (I assume) I wanted hang out that thing saying ā make up my roomā but I choose the wrong side and put there ā do not disturb ā
But if our guide called the hotel saying that we were in Santorini of course they could go into the room to put our food in the fridge or keep in at the barā¦
I went down and talked to a guy in the repception showed him the picture I attached here and he answered me that was my mistake putting the ādo not disturbā at the door and he could do nothing for us, we should eat that food that was on the floor š±š”. No excuses for thisā¦
On the day after I talked to the manager and she apologized and gave us a voucher for the lunch.
We apologized but I will never forget this situationā¦

I would not recommend the standard room as it was extremely small and felt claustrophobic, we did try to upgrade the day we got there but they were unfortunately fully booked, as a couple with two suitcases there was no room whatsoever and very limited hanging space so had to leave the suitcases open on the floor and climb over them to get around.
The air con had mould growing out of it and left the room smelling awful.
We were also only given two towels which are only changed once every three days, it would have been nice to get a hand towel so you aren't using the one towel for everything. This is also the case for pool towels they are only changed once every three days.
I think the hotel would benefit from an overall refresh, painting etc and the pool to be cleaned more often, although the water was clear there was green mould build up around the sides as well as the white pool loungers.
I would not say that our room was 4 stars but that may have been based on the bigger rooms that are available.

CCourtneyOur stay at Selected Suite was simply perfect! The location is amazing, and the room itself is unbelievable, everything brand new, with stunning design and incredible comfort. The space is large, with a beautiful terrace, a huge shower, and modern detail, the steam room was a big bonus after a long day. Ā Honestly, the decoration is so impressive I could happily live here.
Everything was spotless every single day, itās honestly one of the cleanest places Iāve ever stayed. I felt so comfortable that I never wanted to leave. The team even prepared a wonderful birthday surprise for my partner, which made our stay extra special.
Parking was very easy, the reception is available at all times and always helpful, and the cleaning ladies are just fantastic, smiling, kind, and doing an excellent job. A very special thank you to Ayu, who was absolutely adorable and made our stay unforgettable with her kindness and warmth.
I recommend this place 100%! I cannot wait to come back. Honestly, I couldnāt find a single thing to improve everything was truly perfect.

I can definitely tell you that it was one of the best holidays I have ever had, filled with nice people and great Greek weather. The hotel is located very conveniently, you have a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Lidl is just 5-7 min walk. Next to the hotel there was a great coffee shop- Move on. Next to the hotel there is a bus stop which will take you to Chania city centre for a nice promenade and a delicious dinner. Hotel itself is of an apartment style with amazing pool which was always well-maintained and clean. Every day the girls made sure that our room is clean and we have new towels, and they were making quite impressive compositions from flowers and towelsš The manager of the hotel was extremely friendly and always dealt efficiently with any requests we had. Breakfast was delicious and overall our stay was extremely enjoyable. Definitely visit this hotel to feel the amazing Greek hospitality.
