The room was very clean. The owner was very welcoming; during check-in, he showed you how to use everything in the room, how to explore the town, and gave you recommendations. The next day, you could store your luggage and then explore the town, take a panoramic photo from the hillside near the station, retrieve your luggage, and continue on your way. After checking out, you could relax, have tea, and charge your devices in the lobby, which had a clean ”free bathroom” (those who know, know how valuable that is in Europe - lol).

This hotel, a former monastery, is steeped in history and offers fantastic photo opportunities. It's a convenient ten-minute walk from the hotel to the town center. The hotel provides a paid shuttle service at 4 euros per trip. The driver mentioned that only local vehicles are allowed into the town, warning that the thousand-year-old cobblestone streets would ruin the wheels if we tried to drag our luggage to the hotel ourselves. Remember to bring your own toothbrush and slippers.

Confusing at first, since there are apparently one hotel with two names. The reception is located at the pod hrad hotel. Otherwise everything was excellent.
