F yiOur family came to Changbai Mountain to escape the summer heat during the summer vacation and stayed in a two-bedroom suite at Jinhua. The layout is very well-designed, with a separate living room and bedrooms. The resort has complete facilities for dining, entertainment, and shopping.
Unfortunately, it rained continuously during our stay, so we couldn't use some of the facilities. A special shout-out to our butler, Haha, who was incredibly attentive! Any issues we had were communicated and resolved promptly, and they kept us updated on the status of activities within the resort. Communication was effective throughout, messages were replied to very quickly, and they even kindly reminded us about precautions for traveling in the mountains during the rain. The bedding in the room was dry and comfortable, and all facilities were well-maintained.

MengxizhishuitianRight from the start, the service at this hotel felt uncomfortable. When checking in at the front desk, the staff member took my ID, then turned around to chat with a colleague, leaving me waiting. I had to ask twice before he finally said they were done chatting and proceeded with my check-in. The male front desk staff was full of arrogance! Sure enough, upon entering the room, a slipper left by the previous guest was prominently displayed on the floor! Dust and paper scraps were clearly visible in the corners. It was unbearable, so I requested a re-cleaning. Throughout it all, the hotel offered no apology whatsoever. For 2000 a night, it was a truly miserable stay!

Guest UserFive-star review! Jianshuihe Hot Spring Hotel is absolutely worth staying at. The hot spring water quality is excellent, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The private hot spring design is a huge plus. The service is warm and attentive, and the breakfast is abundant. Right outside, you'll find the beautiful '美人松' (a type of pine tree, likely a local landmark), and transportation to all the Changbai Mountain attractions is convenient. Soaking in the hot springs after hiking is incredibly relaxing – it's definitely my top choice for accommodation, highly recommended!

Facilities: It's an old hotel with outdated facilities. They even used grout to patch gaps in the elevator, which looked really bad. The toilet paper holder in the room was loose and wobbly.
Hygiene: The hygiene was maintained quite well.
Service: The welcome snacks and drinks included with the booking weren't delivered to the room. I had to call and ask for them two or three hours later, which was a minus.
Food: The Chinese food was disappointing. The daily soup was bland and watery – can you believe a 68-yuan soup only had one piece of pork rib? Just one, that's pretty wild. Breakfast was decent, nothing special, nothing bad.

MAG_zcThe Park Hyatt Changbaishan offers an absolutely amazing resort experience 🌿. The hotel is nestled deep within the resort area, providing excellent privacy. Its overall style is a understated yet elegant New Chinese design, creating a wonderful ambiance. The room was incredibly spacious, the bedding comfortable, and the balcony offered distant views of the mountains and forests. I absolutely loved the room's aesthetic.
The breakfast selection was rich and high-quality, featuring both Western and Chinese options. The staff were warm and polite, check-in was efficient, and they were responsive without being overly enthusiastic. Getting around the resort area was convenient, and the environment was quiet and serene, perfectly embodying a relaxing vacation vibe. It's definitely my top choice for a Changbaishan getaway, and I'm very satisfied overall. Highly recommend staying here!

Suxiaolan1007This was by far the most satisfying hotel of our trip! First off, the service was exceptional. They reminded us in advance to book attraction tickets and the butler even arranged high-speed rail pick-up and drop-off. Since the attraction was closed on our first day, they even helped us snag tickets for the next day, which we greatly appreciated. Secondly, the perks for staying two nights were excellent. We enjoyed a leisurely stroll through the volcanic stone forest, dug up some ginseng, and then cooled off with spring water coffee and chilled watermelon at the ice spring. It was all very relaxing and pleasant. The off-road vehicle ride was a blast, though the cable car was just a standard ski resort one, nothing special. We finally made it up the mountain today and saw Tianchi Lake; the view was absolutely stunning. So happy! The hotel environment is lovely, complete with deer, bunnies, and alpacas. The volcanic hot springs really made my skin feel smooth afterwards, and I even felt my shoulder pain ease up quite a bit. Such great value!

Guest UserThe location is central, but using the back entrance makes everything easily accessible, and it's not right on the food street, so it feels very quiet. Taking the back exit near the lollipops in the hotel lobby, and then the path in front of the big lawn, is even closer and more convenient. The overall service was excellent; every guest gets a hotel assistant. Our assistant, 7-Up, sent messages beforehand with reminders, weather forecasts, and patiently answered all our questions. We booked a deluxe twin room and got one with a mountain view. From the room, you could see the lawn, cable car, etc., offering great views. Food: Breakfast was a standard hotel buffet. The dinner buffet had grilled skewers, hot pots, and other decent options.
Resort-wide benefits: They included access to the slide, cable car, water park, hot springs, and more. Everything was great, except for the long wait times for the slide.
The hotel facilities are quite old, but they are clean, which is a plus. Overall, it was a good experience.

Yilunmingyue999The overall facilities are decent, and the front desk service is quite warm and attentive. The breakfast selection is基本合格 (basically acceptable). However, there's significant room for improvement in the details: 1. The cleaning was not thorough. Upon check-in, we found a large puddle of water under the clothes drying rack where the disposable slippers were stored, and it hadn't been cleaned. It took two calls to housekeeping for staff to arrive. 2. The complimentary hot spring tickets were generally okay, but it was unclear if it was real hot spring water, and the different pools showed no differences other than temperature. 3. The complimentary activities were all quite far from the hotel, and it was almost impossible to get a taxi there and back. The hotel also didn't provide shuttle services. I understand it's peak tourist season, and your reception capacity is limited, but don't forget you're one of the most expensive hotels in town. Is this the kind of service we get for such a price? This alone isn't enough to give you a low rating. What's most infuriating and incomprehensible is your hotel's airport/station drop-off service this afternoon. We booked a 13:00 departure, but the hotel only contacted us 10 minutes beforehand. Before the scheduled time, they inexplicably accused us of delaying and aggressively rushed us. With our luggage, we originally needed a whole car, but were forced to share a ride with others. They even blamed us, with a rude, lazy, and extremely impatient attitude! Is this the service quality of Erdaobaihe, a famous cultural and tourism town? Fortunately, we took several other taxis, and all the other drivers, including the one who picked us up, were very professional. Only your driver, with the license plate ending in 2227, doesn't fear tarnishing the reputation of Changbaishan people!! Afterwards, a so-called 'travel butler' called me to ask what happened. His attitude was also arrogant; he didn't even say hello! Have you studied law? Do you have investigative power? Reflect on your service first! I'm not obligated to repeat myself to you! I'm not complaining for the sake of it, nor do I need to file a complaint, but I must express my true feelings to you! Please reflect on your service quality for the sake of this beautiful sacred land!

The room was incredibly spacious and offered great value for money. It was a shame the hot spring was out of order, as we couldn't experience it. The park area was completely dark at night with no lights, making it hard to see anything, which was a bit of a downside. However, the room itself was excellent and very clean. The pool was too shallow for a good swim, and it felt a bit crowded with people taking lessons. On the plus side, the changing room and shower facilities were decent, and there was a nice hot spring pool. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, perhaps due to the off-season, with not many good options. I would still come back if I have the chance, it's worth a try.
