The five-star rating is for Zongzi (a staff member). They arranged for my luggage to arrive early, and the person who took over for me was excellent.
On the downside, when checking out, there were a lot of staff members asking for good reviews. If a service is good, I'll naturally give one. For example, last time, they charged me 12 for the mini-bar and still asked for a good review, which I really didn't want to give.
Otherwise, this time, I really felt like giving a 2-3 star rating. Some of the front desk staff I encountered this time were a bit lacking. It feels like the more I come, the less attention I receive. This time, I didn't get a room upgrade, though they did give me some fruit. If there's an empty room, they should definitely upgrade to improve the experience. For breakfast, if one portion is provided, it would be great if another could be offered for VIPs. None of the four of us went to eat.
1. There was an issue with the pillows in the room. I was too lazy to complain about it, but you can see in the video, there were hard lumps – I don't know what they were. If it weren't for Zongzi's excellent service, I would honestly consider giving a 2-3 star review. The Vianna next door is half your price, and their service was better when I went. But maybe it just depends on the person.
2. I overheard a department responsible for external car services – I don't know what it's called. This was a particularly unsatisfactory issue. They were complaining about a guest who parked to go upstairs to get something, saying that just because a guest spends a hundred yuan, they act like they're superior. To complain about guests when you're in the service industry – that's really not the standard you should have. Everyone has urgent matters sometimes. To speak ill of guests behind their backs, especially when you're supposed to be the best hotel in Jilin, is unacceptable. What's wrong with spending money? The hotel rooms aren't even worth this price; what you're paying for is the service. And then you talk behind our backs and nitpick.

This is the second time we stay in this hotel. Staff is friendly and helpfu as usual, and rooms are confortable. We appreciate the location, as the metro station is downright under the hotel building and there are a lot of small restaurants for breakfast or dinner nearby.
Unfortunatelly, because of winter temperature, we could not enjoy the rooftop.

It's very good and cost-effective. We stayed in a twin room with two single beds and a massage bed. The view was great and it's most suitable for two adults and one child. The hotel gives you a bathing ticket. For an additional 49 yuan, you can have a basic bathing service. We tried the bathing service and it was very comfortable. If you are interested, you can also buy a more expensive package for better results. There is also a hot spring on the sixth floor. This spring water seeps out from 300 meters underground and is a branch of Changbai Mountain. The water quality is indeed very silky. The buffet is very rich. We didn't have the dinner buffet, but the breakfast buffet is included in the room rate. This is the most unobtrusive buffet I have ever had. There are many choices, the portions are large, and the taste is good. You can try the freshly steamed ones. Sea urchin dumplings. Overall I feel good and will recommend it to my friends!
This was my first visit to Siping, and I opted for Wanda. Fuli Wanda Hotels are generally quite consistent across the country, so there were no surprises. This is arguably the best hotel in Siping, boasting excellent facilities, clean, tidy, and comfortable rooms, and impeccably maintained cleanliness. Its superb location makes it convenient to get anywhere. Overall, it comes highly recommended! One area for improvement: underground parking is only free for 12 hours.

My recent trip to Changchun led me to stay at the Shangri-La, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! I have to give a special shout-out to the front desk service – it was incredibly efficient and thoughtful throughout. The staff always had a warm smile, patiently answered all my questions about local transportation and dining, and even proactively helped me arrange an early check-in. Their professionalism and warmth made me feel completely at ease, which is so comforting when you're away from home.
The thoughtful room details were also a huge plus! The alarm clock by the bed actually has a built-in wireless charging function. I could just place my phone on it to charge – no more fumbling for chargers or dealing with tangled cords. For someone like me who often forgets their charger, this was incredibly practical. The room itself was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable. These two extra-special touches made the experience far exceed my expectations. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Changchun and will wholeheartedly recommend it to my friends!

I booked a Stone Age-themed room, which my kids absolutely loved and had a blast playing in. The complimentary hot spring tickets were a fantastic value. From the moment I got off the bus and walked through the gate, I felt the service was exceptional. The doorman, the front desk, and even staff I didn't recognize were all incredibly welcoming and helpful. The infinity pool inside the hot springs was stunning, the food was reasonably priced, and the bath attendants were incredibly helpful, offering helpful guidance on every floor. Ms. Lin Haixia was especially helpful. She was my lucky star. I was just worried about getting a return ticket, and she just chatted with me and got a notification on her phone that she had been put on the waiting list. So lucky!

The hotel is very clean but when I was there with my family, there are a lot of constructions ongoing near the hotel and it was raining every single day when we are at Changchun.
The hotel staff is very nice and efficient esp when we had only 30 mins to board our train to head to Changbaishan. The hotel staff, Fu Yang, is able to cater for us and understand that we are rushing for time. We managed to board our train successfully thanks to Ms Fu Yang.
The breakfast options were rather limited. There was a signage saying that we could have how we wanted our eggs. We requested for the chef to cook it; the chef booked for us unwillingly and gave us an attitude. From the previous guest reviews, there are many positive reviews with regards to the buffet hence we decided to pay for the breakfast buffet.
Overall, we will still stay in the same hotel if we visit Changchun once again. :)
Side note, the train station was rather far away from the hotel. However, DiDi works fine too.

After a trip to Changbai Mountain, we stopped over in Changchun for two nights on our way back. After a long search on Ctrip, we finally settled on this hotel for two reasons: the TV series 'A Lifelong Journey' was filmed here, and it's a garden-style hotel. Our two-night stay certainly didn't disappoint, though our only regret was that it was too short.
The hotel is located on Nanhu Street, directly opposite Nanhu Park. Bus G252 stops right outside the main entrance. The nearest subway station is a bit far, about two kilometers away, so we mainly relied on ride-hailing services for getting around.
Our room in the main building wasn't large, but it was well-equipped and very clean. It seemed to have been renovated a few years ago. Staying here, you can actually sleep with the windows open at night without needing the air conditioning.
Breakfast was also decent, but the dining area seating was predominantly round tables.
The à la carte dinner at Bailian Hall was excellent. While a bit pricey, the taste was absolutely superb!
It's best to stay for at least three nights here. That way, you can take a complimentary ride on the hotel's electric buggy to fully explore and enjoy the premises. The hotel is truly enormous, covering an area of 1290 mu (approximately 212 acres), and comprises over a dozen buildings.
The hotel facilities are great, with a hot spring and comfortable rooms. We also booked a handpan experience and a photoshoot, both of which were good.
The only suggestion I have is that I'm not sure if management has set some strange KPIs, but the experience of staff asking for positive reviews was not great, especially since they asked to mention specific names. No wonder the comment section is full of names being mentioned, but honestly, the service wasn't memorable enough for me to recall any names. Each staff member was diligent and did what they were supposed to, but most of them didn't have a smile on their face. Whether in the restaurant or other areas, the staff seemed very flustered, hurried, and expressionless, which doesn't really fit the vibe of a resort hotel. Interestingly, the outsourced services like the handpan instructors, hot spring restaurant staff, and photographers showed a bit more warmth and naturalness. Management really needs to consider why this is the case.

I stayed here for several consecutive days and was very satisfied. Every staff member I met greeted me warmly, and I especially want to commend Ivy for her help during my stay. I wanted to experience different room types, so I booked several different rooms. Ivy proactively asked about my preferred time to switch rooms and, once the new room was clean, she notified me and sent over the key card. Her service-mindedness is truly excellent. I highly recommend everyone to stay here. It's in the city center, making it convenient to go anywhere, and The MixC is just across the street, solving all your dining and shopping needs. It's fantastic!

MMeinaodaidecaiLocation: This is the closest hotel to the ski resort. Building 1 has a slightly better location than Building 2, but they're quite similar. Building 2 is closer to the hot springs and water park. However, for dining, Building 2 is right above a commercial street, and there's a supermarket and pharmacy directly across the road. If you walk a bit towards the Hallasan hot springs, you'll find an ice slide.
Cleanliness: Overall, it's very good. The only issue is that the shower in the bathroom doesn't have a shelf, so there's nowhere to put your own shampoo, facial cleanser, or shower gel.
Environment: As an all-suite hotel, the rooms are spacious. However, the children's play area, gym, and kids' club are all located at the Wanda Realm Resort Hotel, which requires a bit of a walk.
Service: The service was excellent; the staff were very friendly. Our butler, RENA, contacted me early and prepared two sets of children's amenities for our two kids. They also helped us arrange a late check-out because we lost a phone. Booking the kids' club was also handled by them. Fantastic! 👍
Regarding the airport shuttle bus: For pick-up, the bus stop is straight ahead from the airport exit, in the bus parking lot. Our flight landed, and they seemed to wait for a later flight, as it was quite empty when I boarded. For drop-off, there are many more people. Wanda Realm Resort Hotel Building 2 seems to be quite late in the pick-up order. The first bus didn't have many seats left, but they arranged a second bus, which was quite empty, though admittedly a bit chaotic.
__WeChat57549****We brought our teenager for a skiing trip during the Christmas holidays, our first time at Changbaishan. We chose Wanda Changbaishan International Resort, and the snow quality here is fine and soft, with wide slopes that are suitable for beginners. The resort is built around the ski trails, making it perfect for an immersive skiing experience. If you're not specifically coming for skiing, you don't necessarily need to stay within the resort itself.
The resort facilities are comprehensive, offering everything from equipment rentals to professional coaches. However, you absolutely must book coaches in advance during the ski season (you can search for the 'Wanda Hotels & Resorts Travel Platform' mini-program on WeChat). We couldn't book a coach on-site for our two-day trip; it was extremely difficult to get a last-minute booking.
On the other side of the ski resort, there's a dining area with a rich selection, from light meals to full dinners, all at reasonable prices for a scenic area. Additionally, the resort has hot springs and an indoor playground, great for relaxing after skiing or for family activities. Since our teenager is older, we skipped these; they're more suited for younger children.
My personal opinion is that all the hotels within the resort are quite similar. Since they all include ski passes, there's no need to choose an expensive one. The hotels in Wanda are all a bit older and not very new. Also, most of your time will be spent skiing, so you won't be in the hotel much. Every hotel is within a 3-5 minute walk to the Wanda ski slopes, so just pick one that's a good price!
Overall, the skiing experience with the kids was very satisfying. The snow quality is excellent, and the services are complete. Just remember to book your coach in advance!
AAlicia rumantirI love their washroom! The toilet is fantastic, alway warm! Very helping especially weather below -20!

NNina_QuPark Hyatt Changbaishan | The Pros and Cons of a Family Ski Trip
We recently took our two kids to Park Hyatt Changbaishan, and were warmly welcomed right from check-in – the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a main building room with an extra bed, understanding our family's needs, which saved us a lot of hassle!
The outdoor balcony of our suite was a hidden gem, offering incredible views. We watched the sunrise over the snowy mountains with clouds rolling in, and during the day, we could see people skiing on the slopes – truly immersing us in the snowy atmosphere. The hotel amenities were also very convenient; we could rent ski equipment right downstairs at the snow house, and there was even a mini Bognar counter to browse. Being so close to the ski resort was a huge plus.
However, there were a few minor issues. The direct ski-out slope was better suited for beginner snowboarders. As dual-boarders, we had to walk down to the mountain base, and then trudge back in heavy ski boots after skiing, adding an extra 30 minutes of 'cardio workout' – which really detracted from the experience.
The outdoor hot springs were definitely a lifesaver in winter, but our slippers kept getting lost. Walking barefoot on the freezing ground was quite unpleasant! Calling for service also took a long time to get a response, which was disappointing. The room facilities also showed some 'signs of age.' The iron screw on the wooden door next to the bathtub was rusted and detached. When we reported it to housekeeping, we were simply told to 'leave it as is.' The sharp corners of the table by the sofa in the living room led to our child accidentally scratching their leg. Staff only symbolically put on corner protectors after the incident, showing a lack of attention to detail.
The breakfast selection was somewhat limited, and many dishes had to be ordered à la carte. This could affect dining efficiency, especially when rushing to get the kids to ski early.
Overall, the hotel's location and basic services are commendable, but there's significant room for improvement in terms of facility maintenance and detailed service. We hope for a better experience next time.
GGuest UserHad a wonderful experience at the Chang Bai Shan Crown Plaza, the hotel is situated at the gate of the Chang Bai Shan national park, making it incredibly convenient to travel to the park itself. Before checking in the hotel assigned me a customer manager to help arrange my pick up from the train station. The hotel also has excellent hot springs it’s an incredible experience to be enjoying the hot springs in minus 30 degrees. Special thanks to the duty managers 姜姜 and 小庄, they were very professional with their work and always answered my queries promptly.
GGuest UserManager Xiao Sui was incredibly proactive and clear about all the important details. She meticulously explained the schedule of benefits, hotel location, how to pay the ski deposit, and what time the ski resort opened. Given the cold weather in the Northeast, she specifically reminded me to dress warmly and to contact engineering if the room heating wasn't right. She even organized the operating hours for the hot springs and recreation center.
Every time I had a question, like how to exchange ski passes, buy Changbai Mountain tickets, or take the shuttle bus, she responded super quickly. She even proactively sent weather alerts and video tutorials for the shuttle bus. As a first-time skier, I knew nothing, but thanks to her reminders, I booked a coach in advance and avoided any unnecessary detours throughout my trip.
During our stay, she would also proactively check if we were comfortable and if we needed any help. This kind of genuine and thoughtful service made us feel incredibly at ease.
WWanzixiaoxiaoThe room is very spacious, and they replace the clean towels daily even for extended stays. There's a free laundry room, which is super convenient! Especially the restaurant – it's affordable and incredibly delicious, with not a single dish disappointing. I highly recommend the Guo Bao Rou (sweet and sour pork) and Da La Pi (cold jelly noodles). I also want to give a special shout-out to the restaurant. After coming down from Tianchi Lake, I really wanted some ginger soup to warm up. Even though they hadn't made it before, they tried their best and made a whole pot for free, delivering it thoughtfully to my room with bowls and spoons. It was still piping hot when I received it – I was so touched and grateful! I highly recommend this hotel! It truly felt like a home away from home!
SSH_TanThis is a new hotel. The room was spacious with comfortable furnishings, and there was plenty of space to lay out our luggage. The bathtub was also very clean; I wiped it down and didn't see any discoloration.
The staff at the hotel entrance were very enthusiastic and proactive in helping us with the car doors for getting in and out. Thank you for your hard work! One time, one of them even quickly carried my sleeping child from the car door into the lobby to prevent him from catching a cold on a chilly winter night. A big thank you to them! (Of course, I thanked him directly at the time, hehe).
On the day we checked in, they even upgraded our room. The upgraded room was very large, and the floor was high enough to offer a distant street view. The young man who helped us take our luggage to room 913 on December 28th was also very professional and enthusiastically recommended must-visit attractions and dining spots in Changchun. Thank you for leaving us with such a wonderful impression of the people and things in Changchun.
The smart toilet in the room was also very good. The only issue I reported to the front desk, about the slow drainage in the shower, was immediately resolved, which is highly commendable. Because of all these good impressions, I can still remember them weeks after returning home.
You can book with confidence; I'm truly satisfied. Keep up the great work!
