A true gem of a hotel! The ambiance is absolutely fantastic, with exquisite and thoughtful touches everywhere. The service is warm and attentive. They offer afternoon tea on the day of check-in, from 1 PM to 4 PM. The room's amenities and facilities are also very high-end, making for a wonderfully comfortable stay. The breakfast quality is excellent too, with items like grilled sausages and Guo Bao Rou available first thing in the morning. And the hotel's location is unbeatable, right next to Central Street and very close to the river, making it super convenient for walking around and exploring. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Harbin!

This hotel is incredibly spacious, with beautiful landscaping, excellent service, and great dining options. It also boasts a gym, swimming pool, sauna, and a lovely back garden. The concierge service is incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful, always greeting guests politely with a wonderful attitude. They even have cute little robots that deliver room service! The breakfast spread is very diverse, offering both Chinese and Western options, showing great attention to detail and variety. The hotel's location is also superb, close to large shopping malls, making it convenient for shopping and dining out.

Staying here in the 'Ice City' completely immerses you in the atmosphere! Nestled in the heart of the Chinese Baroque district, it occupies a standalone century-old building with green bricks, red walls, and wooden corridors. The courtyard is elegant and serene – you don't even need to go looking for sights. A casual snap anywhere in the hotel yields stunning photos with that Republican era ambiance 📸. Wear light-colored clothing or a qipao, and your photos will be absolutely divine! What truly captivated me was its exclusive and private feel. The entire hotel has only 26 guest rooms, limiting daily guests, so there's absolutely no noisy crowd. You can enjoy the peace and elegance of a century-old residence all to yourself. It's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, perfectly avoiding the throngs of tourists. Beneath its vintage exterior lies a thoroughly modern, top-tier experience! All rooms feature smart home devices, smart toilets, and oversized bathtubs with great views. There's a Dyson hairdryer, a seven-setting constant temperature direct drinking water system, and a whole-house soft water system. There's a 24-hour dedicated private butler, attentive and meticulous throughout your stay, ready to assist with any request. It's a nine-compartment Northeastern specialty breakfast served in a Republican-era style restaurant. The variety changes daily, featuring everything from Harbin red sausage and diced Guobaorou (sweet and sour pork) to special pickles. One bite unlocks the authentic local flavor of the 'Ice City', making for a very ceremonial dining experience. The location is absolutely unbeatable! Step out and you're right on a century-old street with a cluster of retro buildings. Downstairs, you'll find all sorts of authentic Harbin old-brand eateries, making it easy to stroll and eat to your heart's content. It’s also super close to Central Street and St. Sophia Cathedral. Transportation is convenient, so you don't have to rush around when exploring. If you're traveling to Harbin and want to avoid the crowds while enjoying a premium, quality stay, this century-old guesthouse hidden in Lao Daowai is definitely the top choice! First, let me talk about the hotel itself, to provide some reference for future travelers. The hotel is located in Songbei District, which is quite convenient if you're planning to visit Sun Island or the Ice and Snow World. The service was very attentive, and the entire hotel was decorated with unique flair. The staff all wore ethnic costumes, and the ubiquitous log-cabin style gave it a full sense of design. The rooms also featured exceptionally large floor-to-ceiling windows, offering an unbeatable view. Now, let me share my personal feelings. I'm originally from Genhe, the very place where Aoluguya (the hotel's inspiration) is located. It's been many years since I moved away and haven't returned to Genhe. Over time, I've even developed a kind of 'near-home apprehension.' For me, choosing Aoluguya was an absolute no-brainer. My home and my elementary school all had some connection, big or small, to Aoluguya. Staying at Aoluguya this time, there were truly many details that touched me. For example, the photos and stories of the Ewenki tribe in the hotel lobby, the reindeer and birch elements visible everywhere in the lobby, corridors, and rooms, and even the books I found in my room: 'The Right Bank of the Argun River' and 'Aoluguya Customs.' What others might see as a distant and mysterious place, for me, represents familiar hometown sights and sounds ingrained in my very being. I can't represent all of Genhe, nor do I have the right to speak on behalf of Genhe. But as a Genhe native, I sincerely thank you for creating such a hotel in Harbin, using the imagery, elements, and symbols of Genhe. It allowed me to briefly dream of my hometown, a thousand miles away. Thank you for keeping this flame alive in Harbin. I wish you prosperous business, so that Harbin will always have a place that holds the snow and wind, the ancient pines, and the negative ions of the Taiga forest. The next time I come to Harbin, or rather, every time from now on, I will definitely come back. 🌲🦌

As a budget-conscious traveler who's stayed in Beijing, Tianjin, Chengdu, Xi'an, and now Harbin, I subjectively feel that the Ritz-Carlton Harbin is the absolute bottom tier for Ritz-Carltons in mainland China. At the very least, their service should be on par. They couldn't customize my room key, claiming it's only for Titanium members and above. The Lion (Ritz-Carlton's member discount) isn't honored here; other Ritz-Carltons offer at least a 10% discount, but this one directly stated, ”We're not part of the same system as other Ritz-Carltons.” The breakfast selection was extensive, but the kitchen staff were chatting without masks (though it might have been about work). What was truly outrageous was seeing a male employee at the workstation talking on the phone with one hand while the other hand was directly in a wok, stirring noodles (likely fried noodles) with his bare hands. During breakfast, my family and I hadn't even been eating for half an hour when three different servers repeatedly approached us asking if they could clear our plates, even though there were empty tables around and no one waiting. I had already politely but firmly told the first server that we would be leaving in five minutes at most, yet two more still came to ask about clearing the plates. This is something I've never experienced at any other five-star hotel. I am truly unsatisfied with the service during this stay at the Ritz-Carlton Harbin.

The room was huge, we didn't even have enough time to enjoy it all in three days and two nights, haha! The hot springs were clean! The 'yin-yang' hot pot-style pool was hilarious! The outdoor swimming pool was also fantastic! The water was so clean, and there were interactive activities at 3 PM which were a lot of fun! The staff were also very enthusiastic ❤️

Extended Stay Benefits · Breakfast: The front desk didn't register my breakfast, so on the second day, I had to waste half an hour at the restaurant sorting it out. They have a juicer at breakfast where you can make your own juice with the available food, which is great. Facilities: Very new. Conveniently located near the mall. The washing machine and gym are good. Environment: A hotel accompanying the convention center, located inside it. Service: They have a concierge but no actual service. Couldn't borrow an umbrella when it rained.

I highly recommend this amazing guesthouse to everyone! You can book it with your eyes closed. The service is incredibly attentive, and the butler team in the group chat is always responsive to every request. They offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off to nearby attractions and restaurants. While we were making tea at the tea table, the butler immediately brought over freshly cut fruit. This is the first time I've encountered such observant and proactive butler service. The kids had a fantastic experience, and we ended up staying a second time within a short period. The breakfast was also very exquisite. Both villas have unique charm, especially the common areas, which are all distinct. We'll definitely be back!

This hotel is located in Songbei District, Harbin. While not in the city center, it's very convenient for self-driving travelers as it offers free parking. The facilities, including a gym, a small children's play area, and a swimming pool, are well-suited to the hotel's positioning. What's more, the price during the National Day holiday was fantastic, and I could even use culture and tourism vouchers for a discount. I'm extremely satisfied!
