Pet Friendly Hotels in Penang, Malaysia

Reception Staff: Excellent, speak great English and very helpful. Entrance Staff: So helpful and kind. When checking-in and out, staff assist with your luggage. Room: Spacious, exceptionally clean, great view. Location: Excellent, calmer as not in Georgetown. If I return to Penang, I will definitely be staying here again.

We arrived at about 11am and managed to check in immediately which was a pleasant surprise! The room was really spacious and we loved that there is a filtered water tap within the room so we could refill our bottles easily and save money on buying bottled water. The only bummer was that on our second day, there was a power shutdown from 10am to 2:30pm (which they informed us beforehand), but at the same time, the lifts were having maintenance (not informed on this) and we were stuck at our level (20 floors up) for about 20 to 30 mins. We were not able to take the stairs down as well which was abit frustrating as we were running late. So they could have better planned or better coordinated the schedules for the maintenance work. But other than that, the rooms were really clean and the pool and gym were nice as well. The breakfast didn’t have many selection but it was decent. We loved that the hotel was just opposite the esplanade park too! Will stay here again!

Okay, it's cheap, but the location is actually quite far from Kampung Agong, even though it says it's only 11km on the booking. It took us 1 hour 40 minutes, almost 2 hours!

The hotel staff were really friendly and even let us check in early, which was super smooth. We stayed in a windowless room. There was this weird extended space in the ceiling between the two beds (like a fake window, I guess?). Not sure why it was designed that way, it was a bit strange (and a little creepy for two girls). During the day, it seemed like it was meant to let some light in. There's a pool on the third floor, but we didn't get to try it out. We were only staying for one night and didn't have much time. Right across from the hotel is this building, and I actually bought a fridge magnet of it! Only realized it after I bought it, haha.

Very new, clean and comfortable hotel. Location is not bad although not as near to the cluster of popular cafes/museums/eateries except the lebuh market which is nice to visit as it feels more like where the locals will go to! Grab is affordable which makes the hotel accessible and convenient. Amenities are good. Water dispenser along the hallway. Rare Malaysia hotel that provides hair conditioner. The shampoo, conditioner and body soap were of good quality and nice fragrance. Hotel staff were helpful - provided free coffee and doorman to help open doors. Only downside was that our hotel card kept having issues and we had to reset it every single day.

This loft in the city center is relatively decent. It's perfectly located for all the attractions. The airport bus stop is just a 10-minute walk from the hotel. There are two large shopping malls nearby. A big thank you to the staff for letting us check in early. The bed linen was soft and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Shampoo and shower gel were provided for free. There's a water cooler (hot/cold) on the floor. The fridge worked great, and there was also a kettle and toaster in the room. As for the downsides: The cleanliness of the room was so-so – dusty, with a somewhat worn-out renovation, and some noticeable dirt stains in places. The shower only had lukewarm water. There were no face towels. One of the bath towels had a stain. There were ants running around near the fridge, seemingly knowing where the food was, so make sure to put all your food straight into the fridge. I left a biscuit on the table and ants swarmed it. There are no double-glazed windows, and since our room faced the street, we could hear passing cars perfectly. It's tolerable for a night or two, but not for any longer.

honestly happy with the room studio king room. include the kitchen, living and a bedroom with door. the best part is the bed and pillow. super comfortable n the feel of rest and calm is just meet wife n mine needs. the shower gel the smell was soo gooddd.. the pool very kids friendly.. 2 ft height is just nice for my twins boys at 3 years old..

This hotel is perfectly situated between the city and the famous beach. Plenty of food options and shopping malls are right around the corner. Downstairs and in the immediate vicinity, there's a fantastic food court, numerous malls, cafes, and restaurants, offering a huge variety of choices. The food court even features vendors selling authentic local delicacies. I highly recommend this hotel, the scenery is beautiful. Enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee and savor life.

It rained heavily last night, so we didn't get to see the iron flower performance. However, we stayed in a really beautiful and comfortable hotel and had a super pleasant afternoon nap, which made me very happy (even though it was completely dark when I woke up, haha 🐶). The hotel clearly put a lot of effort into its design; it was very clean and tidy. While not luxurious, the decor was very cozy. There was also a drying area behind the kitchen, and a small courtyard relaxation area, with small gardens both upstairs and downstairs. We stayed in a first-floor room, and I was completely surprised that the door was so close behind a brick screen! When I opened the door, I was stunned by a wall full of books 😂. For a moment, I thought they had accidentally led us into a study! It turned out to be the Harry Potter themed room we booked, hahaha, what a pleasant surprise! 🌹🌹🌹

Check-in convenience: OK Safety: OK Facilities: OK Cleanliness: OK Environment: OK Service: OK It's OK, cost-effective, and a good place to stay. It's very nice. The owner is good, not bad, and suitable for a budget-friendly trip!
