Early check-in was a bit complicated. The accommodation doesn't have an elevator.

This isn't a modern, standardized hotel; it's a renovation of an old building in George Town. The soundproofing outside the windows is almost non-existent, so you'll clearly hear the morning and evening prayers in your room. It's perfect for travelers who want to experience the local culture and character of George Town, but completely unsuitable for business travelers who expect a standardized hotel experience. The free self-service laundry and dryer are a great plus. However, you have to use the stairs yourself; the old elevator is only for luggage. Overall, it's clean and tidy, but I did spot a cockroach, which is unavoidable in an old building.

Close to entertainment venues and easy-to-find food. Parking is a bit limited.

The room was tiny and had no windows. No one cleaned during my stay, so it was basically self-service. It seemed to be mostly frequented by Westerners, with very few Asians. However, the location is excellent, right in the heart of Georgetown, within a few minutes' walk to everything. The price was also very affordable. I'm very satisfied overall.
