Pet Friendly Hotels in Guangdong, China

The room decor was lovely and beautiful. However, there were two very serious issues: 1. The top floor supposedly had a paint smell, so they had the extractor fan on. The noise was incredibly loud, and nobody told me about it. After I called to ask, the fan was turned off, and the world became silent. Do they even consider their guests' comfort? 2. The shower drain noise was unbeatable. The sound of water gushing was louder than flushing a toilet. If someone showered at night, I felt like I was living in a waterfall.

The room was great, and the soundproofing was excellent, which made me feel very secure during my business trip. The hygiene was also top-notch. The gym had a lot of equipment and was practically empty, so I had it all to myself. The swimming pool felt very safe with two lifeguards on duty. The service was also fantastic; Vicky was especially attentive. Hilton truly lives up to its reputation as a classic brand, far superior to many other flashy star-rated hotels. I'll definitely choose them again for my next business trip.

When we first arrived, we weren't sure where it was, but after asking the security guard, we found it. The security was very polite and even helped us with the facial recognition check-in. The front desk staff were all great and you can store your luggage for free. Coming back at night, hot and tired, I thought about showering and then having something cold. I remembered they had self-serve ice, which was a lifesaver. When I went to the front desk, the staff were very professional, even chatting with foreigners. Everyone felt very welcoming. They also remind you when check-out time is approaching. Check-out is at noon, and I was worried my friend and I wouldn't be on time, so I messily messaged customer service on WeChat beforehand, and they agreed to a later check-out. I personally think disposable paper cups and slippers would be better, as reusable ones feel a bit unhygienic. It's super convenient as it's close to everything, and there are many shops downstairs – snack shops, restaurants, malls, it's all good. You can just walk straight out and catch a taxi. Overall, I'm very satisfied!

1. The hotel boasts an excellent location with plenty of dining options and a supermarket nearby. 2. It meets near five-star standards, with all the expected amenities. 3. Breakfast was abundant and met five-star standards. Even after closing at 10:30 AM, the staff remained very friendly, except for the noodle chef. 4. Parking was quite convenient; we parked on the ground during the Spring Festival. 5. It's very close to the beach, within walking distance, although we didn't spot any small crabs. We went to a beachcombing spot about 2 kilometers from the hotel, and renting an electric scooter made it very convenient. 6. During the Spring Festival, there were movies, arcade games, and claw machines available. 7. My child got to experience the off-road vehicle, afternoon tea, and Hilton's exclusive cookies for free. 8. All the staff were very enthusiastic, and everyone in Shanwei was wonderful, creating a great sense of happiness. 9. During the Spring Festival, there were fireworks on the beach, and fireworks were also sold in the city at reasonable prices. Just don't set them off too late, as police officers might advise you to stop. Drawbacks: 1. The lighting in the courtyard at night was too dim, especially in the front courtyard. With no doorman to guide parking, it felt a bit eerie late at night.

The rooms are just standard apartments. There were quite a few international guests staying there. Soundproofing is a big problem. The ladies next door were having a great time watching a concert, so I didn't get any sleep all night, haha. I could hear their conversation crystal clear.

Overall, a great experience! Our butler, Mati, contacted us even before check-in. When we had a minor issue with our room during our stay, the staff were incredibly helpful and actively resolved it for us, even upgrading our room type. For transportation, I'd definitely recommend driving yourself. The hotel is quite remote with no public transport nearby, and the road leading to the hotel was very dark when we arrived at night, so having your own car would be much more convenient. The hotel doesn't have many hot springs, but the ones they do have are incredibly comfortable. We'll definitely be back!

Extremely good. 24/7 check in reception and able to keep my taobao parcels. There is a convenient store, food stall and coffee place downstairs. The hotel is an apartment kind, but very good, Room is huge. The hotel is very good for those looking to go to Qianhai snow world (Huafa Snow Bonski) or the Convention Center. Would stay here again if I'm skiing again.

Qingyuan Sheraton Lion Lake was such a delightful surprise! It's incredibly pet-friendly, making traveling with my fur baby so easy. I booked in advance and was given a ground-floor pet-friendly room at no extra charge. The room was clean, odor-free, and the wooden floors were a breeze to maintain. The service was warm and attentive, from check-in to walking the dog, everyone was so friendly. The Arabian-style architecture is stunning, and the lake view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking. The room was comfortable, and the bedding was super soft. The lakeside walking trail is perfect for dog walks, and the facilities are comprehensive, with comfortable hot springs. A five-star experience; both me and my pet had a wonderful time. Highly recommend for families with pets!

The room wasn't huge, but it was very clean and comfortable. They even upgraded our room for free when they found out we had a child, which was a nice touch. There's a washer and dryer available, and the parking lot is right downstairs, conveniently located by the road. Being on a higher floor meant we didn't have to worry about noise. It's super easy to get around, and the pedestrian street is only about a ten-minute walk away. Definitely recommend!

The views and location are absolutely superb. From the floor-to-ceiling windows, you get an uninterrupted sea view, and you can even spot the yacht club and K11. Across the bay, you can see the mountains of Hong Kong. Step out of the hotel, cross the road, and you're at Sea World, which has everything you could want for dining, entertainment, and shopping. Right next to the hotel is a cultural and art center with two cafes and a bakery, both offering great food and scenery. The hotel's own buffet breakfast is also excellent, with a wide variety of fresh ingredients. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, clean, and tidy, and the staff are very friendly, making you feel right at home.
