My overall experience at the hotel was excellent. The price fully matches the quality of the services provided. The staff were very polite, attentive, and professional, creating a truly welcoming atmosphere. The location is very convenient — everything you might need is nearby, including shops, public transport stops, a shopping center, cafés, and restaurants, all within walking distance. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with all necessary amenities provided. Overall, my stay was very pleasant, and I would be happy to choose this hotel again in the future.

The hotel strategically position it self on the beach,which make it popular and attractive.i enjoyed the room selected Premier Sea View with Balcony also the staff were professional and nice.However due to the Cyclone Ditwah were forced to be in our rooms for about 2 to 3 days nkt enjoying as much as per say. The staff like Dasun was very helpful with check in process and other issue.The room was specious,clean and provided safe deposit which comes very in handy sometimes.The breakfast and dinner was delicious especially tomato's soup and fried chicken rice. Thank you chef and the night waiter, sorry i did not get his name.

A well kept hotel attached to a modern shopping mall, small general supermarket a short walk away. Breakfast has a great range the egg hoppers are a must try. Good location Uber taxi and tuk tuk rides are readily available and inexpensive. Breakfast on the veranda watching the wav s of the Indian Ocean and the railroad trains is great fun.

Weeds growing outside my window as well as black mold. Not five star. After asking where we could get a light breakfast,we finally found a coffee place in the basement after two days.We ordered room service as the only other option was a buffet at $16 per person. Having made Christmas dinner reservations,we didn't want to ordere a buffet breakfast.The buffet Christmas dinner was of good quality food well prepared . The problem was everything was cold and the people at the carving stations didn't know how to carve. At $90 for a couple it was a waste. Give the hotel a generous 3 stars..

Sheer British Colonial history setting from 150 years ago. Immaculately observed, including the lowering of the Sri Lankan flag every day at 6pm, accompanied by a Scottish bagpiper!! Excellent location, close to the city centre but just enough away, right be the sea, in front of the iconic Galle Face Green. The pool is sourced from the sea water all the time. Good size, good facilities. Clean. Sunset views exceptional. Food available in several locations in the hotel, including the popular, much talked about buffet breakfast and bar food. Prices reflect the maintenance of traditional cuisine in a the modern world… But not as expensive as other modern hotels nearby, eg the Kingsbury. Highly recommended. We were here in the run up to Christmas 2025. The decorations will put many Christian countries to shame!.😁 They obliged us with a late check out. Five stars!

The hotel is situated quite close to the airport. The driver patiently waited to pick us up after our flight was delayed 4 times. The room was huge and the toilet was so big too. To bad due to our flight delay we only manage to spend few hours. Otherwise the place was in a big garden with a pool. Beware of mosquitoes. Breakfast is not buffet but basic menu by request.

I really enjoyed the hospitality. The Hotel was very welcoming and the staff were always so pleasant and courteous. The Hotel is also Muslim Friendly, which was a great plus point for us. Overall, I really enjoyed the stay and would visit once again for sure if possible.

This was a really nice hotel and stay however although check was at 2pm the room was not ready until after 5:15pm. We arrived around 4 and ended up waiting by the pool for our rooms. Otherwise the pool and rooms and staff were very nice and accomodating. The breakfast buffet and the portions at the Steakhouse were sensational 🥰 The view from the room was also really nice.
