Very close to the beach, the day before the hotel was very late at about nine o'clock, I fell asleep directly. I woke up in the morning and saw the blue sky and sea. I was in a very good mood. There seem to be many Russians in the hotel, and the restaurant also specially put a Russian menu. My favorite is the early morning pool, the private venue, casual swimming, the deepest is about two meters, great. The breakfast is also very good, except for the local curry, I can accept it, the papaya is very sweet. Be sure to stay for two more days next time.

Сотрудники ресепшена были очень приветливы, а вот остальные сотрудники отеля очень странно себя вели(шумели, кричали, ругались между с собой). Наш номер был чистый и опрятный, в номере был большой балкон, а также большой холодильник. Очень хороший был напор воды в душе. Локация отеля тоже отличная(через дорогу пляж, 5 минут пешком до продуктового магазина) Опасайтесь мафию тук тукеров We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, we were quickly checked in and greeted with a welcome drink. The reception staff were very friendly, but the rest of the hotel staff were very strange (noisy, shouting, arguing with each other). Our room was clean and tidy, the room had a large balcony, and a large refrigerator. The water pressure in the shower was very good. The location of the hotel is also great (across the street from the beach, 5 minutes walk to the grocery store) Stay away from Tuk Tuk Mafia

Good service! Before leaving they sprayed mosquito repellent, and my girlfriend has allergies. They washed the whole room and changed the bed linen. The room is cozy, there is a refrigerator, air conditioning, but we did not like the mattress, it was made of foam rubber and without springs. Also the hotel is near the road, and in the morning cars started driving and I could not sleep anymore. The hotel is not bad, there are some disadvantages.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Heritance Ahungalla, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and the fresh juices served upon arrival were very refreshing after the journey. The room was spotlessly clean, tidy, spacious, and well equipped with all the luxury amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere throughout the resort had a relaxing beachside vibe, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We also used the gym, which was properly equipped with a good range of equipment. The resort has two swimming pools, and we spent most of our time at the main pool, which was absolutely massive and perfect for relaxing. The highlight of the stay was definitely the food experience. The dinner buffet was exceptional with an incredible variety of dishes. There were large selections of salads, appetizers, breads and buns, Sri Lankan specialties, international cuisine, and live cooking stations. The seafood and meat variety was especially impressive — including chicken, beef, pork, cuttlefish, prawns, fish, and many other seafood dishes, with multiple preparations for each. My personal favorite was the pork leg, which was incredibly delicious, tender, and flavorful. The dessert corner was huge, offering plenty of choices and beautifully presented sweets. After a very comfortable night’s sleep, we went for breakfast, and honestly, it was just as impressive as dinner. The breakfast buffet included a massive spread with salad stations, bakery items, fresh fruits, Sri Lankan and international breakfast options, live stations, and an amazing juice bar with around 7–8 varieties of fresh juices. They also had a dedicated cheese section, multiple yogurt options, and even 4–5 types of porridges, which was something unique and very well done. Overall, Heritance Ahungalla offers a fantastic combination of luxury, comfort, delicious food, and relaxing coastal ambience. Everything from the service to the dining and facilities was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable beach getaway in Sri Lanka! 🌴✨

A mini hotel with a very pleasant family couple of managers. Rooms are spacious, with air conditioning and fan, large shower rooms. There are balconies on the second floor.A delicious breakfast, 14 days of repeated none. Located on a hill, so the ocean is always light breeze. A little far from the center, so quiet, monkeys and pawlines run. Three beaches with different infrastructure, two family cafes with local home kitchens and juices are available on foot. We really liked it.

We booked a 30 square meter room with two beds - one children's sofa and a large double bed. We were put in a much smaller room and when I went to the reception to ask why, I was told that this was the room I had booked. However, the photo showed a completely different one. Fortunately, the manager quickly resolved this issue and we were moved to a larger room. We liked the hotel. A nice, clean pool was more than welcome. Dinner was pretty good, but the breakfast was meager. The hotel seemed very beautiful to us, a good choice for a family stay 👍

From the moment we booked we were made to feel welcome. On arrival the staff were welcoming and we found all the amenities needed in the room. We did not have a main meal in the hotel but we both went for breakfast which I must say was amazing. Thank you we will be back.

Excellent hotel, very convenient location. Nearby are fish and fruit markets, bus station, currency exchange, supermarkets, wine shops and most importantly, 4 minutes walk to the clean Hikki beach. The service staff at the hotel coped with their tasks at the highest level. I have not seen a room cleaned so clean for a long time. Snow-white bed linen. I was in a room with a sea view ... a huge balcony with a dryer with a table and chairs. The water is constantly hot. Kettle, refrigerator, adapter, hair dryer - everything is in the room. Most importantly, there is a shared, clean kitchen - where there is a microwave, oven for baking, stove. And all this is perfectly clean. Many thanks to the owner of the hotel Rajesh - he met and saw off like an expensive guest! I recommend it with all my heart, because I have tested it myself)))

My wife and I stayed here during our vacation in Sri Lanka, choosing it because of the high Google ratings. The location really impressed us. The hotel is literally a step away from the beach and less than five minutes’ walk to town, which made it very convenient. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach and listening to the waves was easily the best part of the stay. The lobby was simple but acceptable, and there is a seafood restaurant right next to the hotel. At check-in, there was a small hiccup. I booked through Trip.com, but they couldn’t find my booking at first. After about ten minutes, they managed to sort it out and confirmed that the booking came via Agoda. The receptionists were friendly and welcoming, even offering us a drink on arrival. Our room on the second floor had a great view of the sea. The shower had good water pressure, although the bathroom could use better ventilation. The toiletries seemed diluted, so we ended up using our own. Unfortunately, the air conditioning became a real problem. It leaked so badly that the room flooded twice, soaking my shoes. Despite my request for a pail to manage the water, they initially only gave floor mats, which was very frustrating. By the time they finally sent a pail, it was too late. We barely slept that night because of the constant dripping sound. Overall, the location and friendliness of the staff were strong points, but the poor handling of the air conditioning issue really spoiled our experience.

Set a quadruple room, in fact, can live 6 or 7 people no problem 😄 The hotel is located on the edge of the lake. Since we are going to Yarra National Park to see wildlife the next morning, the store packed breakfast for us very early.
