I booked this hotel for my parents. They are in their 50s. They said, We enjoyed a lot. Staff was so nice and kind. There were side events on Saturday. Food was great. The room is not like in the photos. We couldn’t see the sea from the bed. But the room was comfortable and all that. We will go there again.

Very close to the beach, the day before the hotel was very late at about nine o'clock, I fell asleep directly. I woke up in the morning and saw the blue sky and sea. I was in a very good mood. There seem to be many Russians in the hotel, and the restaurant also specially put a Russian menu. My favorite is the early morning pool, the private venue, casual swimming, the deepest is about two meters, great. The breakfast is also very good, except for the local curry, I can accept it, the papaya is very sweet. Be sure to stay for two more days next time.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by wonderfully friendly staff at the reception desk, and our positive impression continued when we saw our room. It was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean and a perfect space to relax in. Unfortunately, our enthusiasm dipped when we looked out the window. We had eagerly anticipated the sea view we booked, but found ourselves on the first floor looking directly onto the main path to the restaurant. The lack of both a view and privacy was a real disappointment. The challenges were compounded by a local festival taking place during our stay. This rendered the beach unusable due to the sheer volume of people. Worse, the road closures made leaving the hotel a logistical headache, leaving us feeling a bit trapped. A final frustration was discovering there were no shops nearby and no convenience store in the hotel itself, so be sure to pack everything you might need. In summary, while we can't fault the hotel on its cleanliness or the friendliness of its staff, the experience was significantly hampered by the room mix-up and the festival chaos. It wasn’t a bad stay, but it was far from the relaxing getaway we had planned.

Good, small rooms in an excellent location. I liked everything. The views are gorgeous. There weren't enough bath mats for the bathroom, it was very slippery. Only one working outlet per room. Otherwise, for $50, everything was great. The bed was comfortable, the air conditioning was cold, and there was hot water with excellent pressure. Turtles swim into the bay right outside the windows. I didn't like the tuk-tuk mafia near the hotel. When you call your own taxi, they start arguing with them, which is a bad situation. There are no shops around, but there are cafes. You can't really cook anything for yourself in their kitchen, but there is a kettle. There are tables in the kitchen with a wonderful view where you can eat your own food. Beer on the beach is 1000 rupees, sunbeds are 1000 rupees on the left beach, and $20 on the right beach.

The hotel is enormous! We had initially booked it to get an early start for our safari, but I truly regretted not arriving a day earlier. The environment, pool, and all the facilities were excellent! It offers fantastic value for money. We didn't get there until after 9 PM, but they were still waiting to serve us welcome drinks. Our morning safari was booked, and the drive to the park took about 45 minutes. We returned to the hotel past 11 AM and spoke with the front desk about showering and freshening up; they kindly extended our check-out until 1 PM. The front desk staff were all very nice too. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Heritance Ahungalla, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, and the fresh juices served upon arrival were very refreshing after the journey. The room was spotlessly clean, tidy, spacious, and well equipped with all the luxury amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The atmosphere throughout the resort had a relaxing beachside vibe, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We also used the gym, which was properly equipped with a good range of equipment. The resort has two swimming pools, and we spent most of our time at the main pool, which was absolutely massive and perfect for relaxing. The highlight of the stay was definitely the food experience. The dinner buffet was exceptional with an incredible variety of dishes. There were large selections of salads, appetizers, breads and buns, Sri Lankan specialties, international cuisine, and live cooking stations. The seafood and meat variety was especially impressive — including chicken, beef, pork, cuttlefish, prawns, fish, and many other seafood dishes, with multiple preparations for each. My personal favorite was the pork leg, which was incredibly delicious, tender, and flavorful. The dessert corner was huge, offering plenty of choices and beautifully presented sweets. After a very comfortable night’s sleep, we went for breakfast, and honestly, it was just as impressive as dinner. The breakfast buffet included a massive spread with salad stations, bakery items, fresh fruits, Sri Lankan and international breakfast options, live stations, and an amazing juice bar with around 7–8 varieties of fresh juices. They also had a dedicated cheese section, multiple yogurt options, and even 4–5 types of porridges, which was something unique and very well done. Overall, Heritance Ahungalla offers a fantastic combination of luxury, comfort, delicious food, and relaxing coastal ambience. Everything from the service to the dining and facilities was excellent. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable beach getaway in Sri Lanka! 🌴✨

This is a wonderful hotel! As soon as you enter, you're immediately captivated by the beautiful architectural design of the atrium and the meticulously curated furniture and layout. The overall coordination is perfect. The room amenities are also superb; the fluffy double bed was clean and allowed for a great night's sleep. I was debating whether to stay at a hotel within the fort, but choosing this one in the suburbs was definitely the right decision. I will absolutely stay here again when I revisit Galle.

We are playing this hotel in the ancient city of Galle. It’s a little hard for a ten-person business car to drive in. The road is small, but there are many small shops and bars on the 2nd side, which should feel good at night. The driver’s little brother followed the navigation and used to think that he had taken the wrong path. At the end of the road, he was suddenly open. The hotel is on the edge of the Indian Ocean, with no beach but a pool. The whole hotel is very clean and refreshing. The lack of beauty is that the venue is too small, suitable for tutu cars to go in and out. If our little brother is good at technology, it is really easy to touch. A narrow road a day, a road like a one-way street in China, and a car. Stayed on the third floor and there is no lift. After the room went in, the air conditioner leaked and called the repairman to repair it. The door of the bathroom cannot be opened frequently and should be closed automatically. The hotel does not provide slippers and is in the ointment. Breakfast is not self-help, but it is also very rich. First, a plate of fruit, coffee is a bit of slag, the sugar of papaya juice is a little bit more, a bit sweet. Dinner is toast and scrambled eggs, completely enough to eat

The hotel is in a great location, right by the sea. You can see surfers and swim directly in the sea. The swimming pool in the backyard is also very large, but the facilities are relatively old and the staff speak loudly in the corridor.

В целом нам отель понравился. Расположен в маленькой бухте CoCobay. Вокруг тишина, нарушаемая только шумом волн, постоянно накатывающимися на берег. Отель небольшой - всего 16 номеров, поэтому обстановка камерная, почти семейная. У гостей размеренный ритм отдыха - завтрак, пляж, полуденный отдых и снова пляж. Вечером ужин по меню. И если завтраки в отеле скромные и однообразные, то на ужин кухня способна удивить. Главное блюдо отличается красивой подачей и всегда вкусно. И меню каждый день новое. Номера большие, все с видом на океан. Кондиционер работает хорошо. От солнца устаёшь даже находясь в тени, поэтому в номере с удовольствием отдыхаешь в полдень. Отель в основном для семейных пар и семей с детьми. Некоторые родители оплачивают здесь уроки сёрфинга для детей, т.к. по сравнению с другими пляжами здесь мягкая волна и не глубоко. Доску для сёрфинга можно взять на прокат здесь же в отеле. Ещё один плюс отеля - здесь не ходят продавцы всякой всячины. За лежаками отдыхающих охрана внимательно следит. Можно спокойно оставить в сумке телефон и уйти купаться, а вернувшись погрузиться в интернет, лежа на шезлонге Есть и минус, не заметить который невозможно - рядом с отелем в океан впадает река и после дождя она несёт в него коричневую воду. Поэтому чистой и прозрачной воды вы здесь не увидите. А вот на основном пляже в Унаватуне вода как раз приятного голубовато- бирюзового цвета. Может в сухой сезон вода в бухте CoCoBay выглядит иначе, но мы были в октябре и дожди шли здесь каждый день.
