I was here for the Jishukan High School Jishusai festival and forgot my slippers, so I just wore the hotel's. My room had a direct view of Toyohashi Station platforms, but the soundproofing was excellent; I didn't hear any noise at all. The breakfast was quite extensive and very delicious. Not only did it have all the usual offerings, but also local specialties like Toyohashi curry udon and chikuwa (fish cakes), and there were even two different kinds of chikuwa! They were really tasty, and it meant I didn't have to go out and buy the now-pricier chikuwa. My only slight disappointment was that the curry udon was cold. Also, the entrance on the first floor that connects to the station was under renovation, and it wasn't as obvious, similar to the steps where Lao Ba eats takoyaki.

The room had three single beds, which were quite comfortable. However, it was clear the triple room was originally a twin room with an added bed, not designed as a triple from the start, as it was so cramped there was no space to open our luggage.
The view was excellent, which is definitely the highlight of this hotel. Being able to overlook the Nagoya night view and lying in bed watching the city lights was a real mood booster.
There's a 'SPA room' at the hotel, but it's really just a public bath, and a very small one at that. There weren't even towels available, which made drying off inconvenient. There are no actual spa services; it's just a bathhouse.
The restaurant is on the 18th floor (the lobby level) and also offers great views. Breakfast is a set meal (one dish per person) supplemented by a buffet of side dishes. The pastries were good.
This Mitsui hotel is located in the Symphony Toyota Building. On the ground floor, just off the elevators, there's a door that leads directly to the underground mall. This underground passage connects all the shopping areas around Nagoya Station and also goes straight to Kintetsu and Meitetsu Nagoya Stations. It's much more convenient to use the underground path if you're heading to the station (be sure to ask the front desk for a paper map, as the wall maps don't have English, and it's easy to get lost underground if you can't read Katakana and go the wrong way).

This is truly a classic four-star hotel. The location is super convenient; it's just a 5-minute walk straight from Exit 12 of Sakae subway station. Even though it's an older hotel, you can really feel its past glory still shining through, and the experience was fantastic—definitely worth the price. There are always taxis waiting right outside, making getting around a breeze. Plus, the hotel's back door opens up to a street full of food and drinks, literally everything you could want. I honestly can't think of a reason not to stay here!

The staff's service attitude was excellent. For breakfast, they had chicken wings and Oden.
The room I chose this time had a separate bathroom and toilet, so the toilet wouldn't get wet when showering.
The hotel's location is superb, with a mall and restaurants downstairs. If you love shopping, you probably couldn't cover it all in one day. It's only a 45-minute drive from Nagashima Outlet (Anpanman, amusement park) and Legoland.
However, parking isn't included in the hotel fee, and it costs 2200 yen per day (as of January 2026).
I stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days without meals. It had amenities and a large public bath, and the price was reasonable, but the floors were so dirty I wondered if they'd ever been vacuumed. Everything else was fine, so that was the only thing that bothered me.
The location is superb, right outside the station. The lobby offers souvenirs, and the silk postcards were especially lovely – I bought a few as gifts. The rooms were clean and tidy. The hot spring bath on the ground floor was very relaxing; the water is from a renowned local source, with more details available on-site. Highly recommend!

Overall, an excellent stay! The hotel and room is clean and has a sleek, modern feel. The top-floor onsen is definitely an awesome addition for the stay. My only heads-up is that the rooms are a bit tight. There wasn't enough floor space to open two suitcases, so we had to use the sofa instead. Other than that, everything was perfect!
The ocean-view hot springs are truly a unique experience. Lying in the cypress-clad hot spring, I could feel the breath of the ocean, the cries of seagulls mingling with the sound of the tide, filling my ears with a three-dimensional soundscape. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the guest rooms made it possible to drift off to sleep. Late at night, when moonlight bathed the ocean, the view from the room was a breathtaking spectacle, the moonlight pouring down like water, the endless sea, the shimmering sponge reflecting the twinkling light of the lighthouse. The cuisine was all directly sourced from the hotel, the shrimp sashimi was as sweet and glutinous as agar-agar, and the grilled abalone was delicious. The staff were warm and attentive, their faces brimming with smiles, always ready to respond to any requests. I finally understood why the 'one-time encounter' service aesthetic is so ingrained in our DNA.
I believe if you experience this once, you'll fall in love with the entire Ryugu Hotel and the sea at Ebisu Beach.
We really love this hotel. Location is great as it is next to a garden and historical tea house. It's a short walk to Inuyama Castle and we do have the castle as our lovely breakfast view.
The room is big and comes with a balcony with a nice view of the surrounding area. There is also an onsen at the hotel with indoor and outdoor baths!
Hotel is also a short, scenic walk from the train station. I would love to come back again!

This is my 1st experience staying at Via Inn. Location is good as it’s part of the JR group, though the construction at Nagoya station makes it harder to navigate even though it’s less than 8 mins walk. I am impressed with the service and the room. The room is comfortable with nice pillow and all the light buttons conveniently located. I also like the idea that they managed to arrange the bed in a different direction so the room has more space to move around even though if is a small room. Amenties are easily available at help desk. There is also reasonably priced laundry services. Service is good at front desk and I had a good evening of rest. Overall I enjoyed my time there.

KKeaiaimeishaodexiaoxingVery good overall! There's a really delicious tempura restaurant downstairs, located right off the lobby. A supermarket is conveniently located next door. You can also pick up a 5% discount coupon in the hotel lobby.
The facilities are quite new and excellent. Service is decent, although there's no Chinese-speaking staff.
Each guest can receive a complimentary face mask and a small sunscreen sample daily. Complimentary facial cleanser, makeup remover, toner, and lotion are also available for guests to use. Toothbrushes and other basic toiletries are provided. There's a coffee machine in the lobby, but the coffee quality is pretty average.
The location is excellent – it's right at Exit 6 of Jinshan Metro Station. Plus, there's an elevator available if you prefer not to take the stairs.
MM370853****A truly excellent stay! It's just a 6-minute walk from Nagoya Station, very well-signposted, and surrounded by numerous izakayas, making the location absolutely superb. Both the capsule pod and bathroom facilities were spotlessly clean, with daily cleaning, so cleanliness is definitely not a concern for those on a one-night stopover. My only minor complaint was the extremely unstable Wi-Fi signal within the hotel. It was so unreliable that I sometimes missed important information. I hope the hotel can address this issue.
Wwinewine99The hotel is really close to the subway station, about a four to five-minute walk. I didn't pay attention when I booked, and this particular street is a bit... 'special' at night, haha, but it's not a huge problem.
Right downstairs, there's a Lawson and a FamilyMart, plus a Matsuya fast-food restaurant. There were also several highly-rated restaurants nearby, but I didn't have time to try them!
It's about six or seven subway stops from Nagoya Dome, no transfers needed, and takes around 20-30 minutes, which is quite convenient!
The front desk staff were very friendly, but the check-in time is strictly enforced – only from 3 PM. There's a seating area nearby where you can wait, and breakfast is even included! Though I didn't actually eat it.
The room is small but has everything you need. It's perfect for one person, no big issues! If you're coming to the Dome for a concert, you might want to consider this place! 🫶🏻
AAnonymous UserI always choose to stay here the night before flying back home from Nagoya Airport. It's close to the station, and it's convenient to catch the Kintetsu line to the airport. Especially with rising prices, this hotel offers a really friendly price point, plus they include breakfast and value-added services like welcome drinks.

MMryxOn our trip from Kyoto Uji to Nagoya and then Takayama, we chose this Courtyard by Marriott hotel. It truly lives up to a five-star standard, with a fantastic overall ambiance. Both the lobby and restaurant are very spacious, and the rooms are a good size too. It's conveniently located just one subway stop from Nagoya Station. Highly recommended!

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is right in Terminal 1, so you don't even have to leave the airport – it's a super convenient location. However, the facilities are quite old, and there aren't many cribs available, so you need to book one in advance. The old wing's facilities are particularly outdated, making it not great value for money.
GGuest UserService 3/5: Standard service as expected from a hotel. Nothing that stands out but nothing to fault either.
Room 3/5: Had a normal room with 1 double bed and a larger room with 2 beds. The size of the larger room with 2 beds was equivalent to 2 of the nornal rooms. Beds are a double bed so the size was good. The beds for the room with 2 beds were softer and had more padding then the normal single bed room which were hard. The primary issue I had is that there was no A/C and only heating when I was staying here. I booked a smoking room and there was the scent of smoke as expected for the single bed room. The room with 2 beds had no smoke smell even though it was a smoking room.
Facilities 4/5: There are coin laundry machines and a water station to refill your water bottle which is nice.
Location 5/5: The location is extremely convienient as it is extremely close to the main strain station. Which makes it a good stay if you are having a short 1-2 day stay in Nagoya before using the train. There are also malls nearby and even a Muji a few floors lower.
Overall 3.75/5 Overall would stay again just for the convinient location
SSpinachBKZStayed at TIAD in Sakae. The location is super convenient for transportation, with metro and bus stops right at the doorstep. It's about a 15-minute ride to Nagoya Station. The service was attentive. However, the breakfast selection wasn't very extensive and primarily consisted of Western-style options, so be prepared for that.
