This hotel is directly connected to the JR station, making it incredibly convenient to get to the guest rooms. Plus, there's a FamilyMart and a relatively larger convenience store right inside the station.
While Google lists it as a 3-star hotel, it's rated as 5-diamond on Ctrip. Objectively speaking, it's much better than other 3-star hotels in terms of both room size and facilities. The TV is large and new, and the bathroom is also spacious.
I heard the breakfast is fantastic, but since my room didn't include it, I didn't get a chance to try it.

Location is very good just a few min walk from Nagoya station. Property feels really new and everything is in great condition. Room is on the small side even for Japanese standards but also more modern, plus for great views. Well cleaned, no noise issues and nothing to complain about. Good breakfast also with an a la carte option and some buffet dishes. Staff was great throughout the stay. All in all great stay in a great place and will definitely consider this place next time.
One night stay for early departure flight, easy reached from city by rail to airport, turn left, walk over the highway bridge and youve reach hotel front door, to be greeted by nice staff who spoke English n help you check in, explained all the onboarding infor, etc. thy hv free shuttle to airport, free buffet breakfast ( opt western/ Jpn), free tea coffee in dining area. Room small but adequate. Free amenities to bring up room. Aircond unit controllable in room. Value stay n very pleased with the professional.std and clealiness. Will stay again with this hotel again.

Pictures advertised don’t match up to what was received, filled in a booking for 2 adults and a child however the room was not made up in accordance to the picture showing 3 beds in the advertisement.
When we asked they required a payment for this.
When told they were misleading they very firmly advised “thank you for understanding. Sorry if you want the extra bed you have to pay”
After reaching out to trip.com customer service they asked us to pay for the bed and would reimburse us.
Bed was eventually made on our second day when it was previously a sofa.
Hotel was unremarkable apart from being perfectly located in Nagoya station complex.

This time, for my stay in Nagoya, I chose the Toyoko Inn Nagoya Kanayama, and overall, my experience was incredibly satisfying. The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the station, making it easy to get to downtown Nagoya for sightseeing or to Centrair (Chubu Centrair International Airport). The surrounding area also has great amenities, with convenience stores and restaurants aplenty, which is a thoughtful location for travelers.
The room, while not large, was very clean and tidy. The moment I walked in, I could feel the usual Japanese hotel sense of freshness and order. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the pillow height was just right, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. Although the bathroom was compact, it was fully equipped; the hot water came quickly, and the water pressure was stable, making showers even more comfortable than at home.
What pleasantly surprised me was that they offer free breakfast! Although it's a buffet, there's a good variety, from rice balls, miso soup, sausages, and salad to coffee – everything you need, and the taste was quite good too. Especially that warm bowl of miso soup; having a sip in the morning instantly gave me that 'I'm ready to tackle today!' feeling (laughs).
The staff were also excellent, always smiling, patient, and thorough whether I was checking in or asking for directions, giving a real sense of being welcomed. The overall value for money is very high, and I highly recommend it for both business trips and leisure travel.
In summary, the Toyoko Inn Nagoya Kanayama is a great hotel that offers a reassuring stay, satisfying food, and a good night's sleep. If I had to give a score, I wouldn't hesitate to give it full marks, and I'd secretly add a 'visit again' praise in my mind.
This is a fantastic airport hotel! It's super convenient, located right across from the Meitetsu Line subway station hall, which connects directly to the terminal building. Perfect for those arriving in the afternoon or departing early in the morning. What's even better is how spacious the rooms are, and they all have large windows. Some room types even offer views of Ise Bay, which is stunning and expansive. The breakfast spread is incredibly generous too. Plus, there are plenty of comfortable lounge areas in the lobby on the first floor. It's all very thoughtful and relaxing.

Great location with easy access to nearby attractions and transport. The amenities bar is fantastic. The bed was comfortable and the toilet was clean, which made the stay pleasant overall.
However, the room had a constant smell of fried food, which was quite distracting and affected the comfort of the stay.
Overall, a good hotel with excellent facilities, but the lingering food smell in the room is something that should be improved.

It was wonderful stay in Nagoya Tokyu Hotel. The building is not new and the room isn’t new but everything is good for our stay. We enjoyed Western and Japanese breakfasts during our stay. One thing that impressed us is that the hotel started breakfast at 4 am in the Nagoya marathon day.. So, it wasn’t expected. Thank you for the hotel. The room service menus are typical Nagoya specialties. Even though the food prices were a bit high, we had to order the foods because we couldn’t walk around after marathon running.

The location is excellent! You can take the airport bus directly to the last stop. It's just one stop away from Nagoya Station and Sakae Station. It's an older, established hotel with a lot of character. I had a packed schedule so I didn't get to explore it much, which is a bit of a shame. The room type I had was very spacious, and the amenities were complete. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the cleaning was meticulous. The mini-bar items were complimentary. I stayed for three days and was very satisfied. The only minor drawback is that the soundproofing isn't great; I could hear conversations from the next room. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Nagoya.

Great
The location is very convenient. The services are excellent. The room is spacious and the breakfast is nice.
Comfort Inn Nagoya Sakae was a solid choice for our first hotel in Japan. The room was compact, as expected in Japan, but thoughtfully designed and well laid out, making it comfortable rather than cramped. The bed was comfortable with clean, fresh linens; however, there was only one pillow per person, and it was quite thin. The toilet bowl was also slightly smaller than what some travellers might be used to. The overall design felt modern and calming, and we appreciated the small round table with two stools, which was handy for a quick meal or planning the day. The work area was practical and well organised, with essentials such as a kettle, hairdryer, and a small fridge neatly tucked away. The bathroom, while compact, was spotless and had good water pressure. Overall, Comfort Inn Nagoya Sakae offered a clean, efficient, and comfortable stay—an excellent base for exploring Nagoya without unnecessary frills.
Our stay at Meitetsu Inn Nagoya Nishiki was very comfortable and convenient. The location is excellent—close to public transportation, restaurants, and shopping areas, making it easy to explore Nagoya. The staff were polite, friendly, and accommodating, providing smooth check-in and helpful assistance whenever needed. The room was clean, well-maintained, and housekeeping did a great job keeping it tidy every day. Breakfast was satisfying with a good selection, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was quiet and relaxing. Great value for money and highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.
The room was clean and comfy. Staff were really nice and friendly. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast as well, like homecooked food, very comforting. And I love that they provided a warming eye mask free of charge everyday! It came with the towels. Excellent service!
Very good location, close to Nagoya station which has Shinkansen and JR lines. Amenities are self serve near the lift area, with no limit per traveller. Room is small but expected of Japan hotels, super clean and space efficient with everything you need.
Hotel is clean, front desk staff are friendly and can communicate in English. No issue with check in/out. There is parking available, with fees unfortunately. Thought hotel guess should be given complimentary parking.
Hotel is pretty aesthetically well designed. Love the interior and the lifestyle vibe. Staff are friendly and helpful. Recommended for couples that are having a short vacation at Nagoya, walking distance to a nightlife street. Love their breakfast! Very fresh and delicious options available!
Really nicely deigned hotel in a skyscraper, no spa but excellent breakfast buffet with amazing views! Room was nice and compactbut with excellent views, bed super comfy.
We had a fantastic stay at the hotel! The view from our room was great, we can see the sunrise in the morning and the moon at night. Location is superb! It is directly connected to the shopping mall and the metro at B1. We will definitely stay at this hotel again!
