The hotel's location is excellent, right opposite the East Railway Station, making it super convenient for getting around with metro line M2 and various bus routes. It's not far from the main attractions, so you can easily pop back for a rest before heading out again. Plus, it's only about a ten-minute walk to the New York Café. When we needed anything, the room service was quick to respond.

The hostel is very new and very beautiful. The rooms are perfectly clean and bathroom/toilet/hot water running perfectly. Very nice and quite rich breakfast, although everyday the same, but still good enough. The hostel has a hidden garden with beautiful light and atmoshpere. The rooftop is very lovely, with amazing views of sunset and moonlight, intimate lighting and many seats available. The weekend was full of parties and DJ sets on the rooftop. The locaion very central and very accessible by Transport. very close to clubs and other places to hangout. Stuff is quite helpful and professional. I loved my stay here, neve rhad any single problem or disagreement. I totlaly recommend this place and will come back even myself.

This is a chain hotel with a consistent style, suitable for all ages. We were allowed to check in before 2 PM, which was a nice touch. Our room was on the top floor and the window could be adjusted for ventilation. There's a restaurant, and I saw a buffet in the evening. The front desk staff were very welcoming.

We stayed one night at the Benczur Hotel, a building nestled on the beautiful street of the same name. The location was fantastic, quiet, peaceful, and gentle, situated in the diplomatic district, home to many embassies, consulates, ambassadorial residences, and headquarters of international organizations in Budapest. It was just a few minutes' walk to Heroes' Square and City Park with many of the city's landmarks. It was also very close to Bajza Utca station, the yellow M1 line (Europe's oldest metro line), which runs into the city center in a few minutes. The 3-star hotel was quite old, but well-maintained, the quality was still very good, clean, tidy, and the rooms were spacious enough. The traditional European breakfast was also quite varied and suitable for many people. We had a very good night's sleep in Budapest! We will definitely return. Thank you so much!

It was my birthday during my stay, and they even gave me a bottle of champagne! The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Fisherman's Bastion and the Parliament building for great photo opportunities. It was also very quiet at night, offering a peaceful retreat in a bustling area.

Overall, a good stay. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and check-in was straightforward. However, it's noticeable that the apartments and hallways are showing their age and could use a refresh. Nevertheless, the price was right and we were satisfied overall.

Stayed here recently and overall had a good experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff during most of the stay were polite and helpful. The location and overall atmosphere made the stay pleasant and convenient. One area that could definitely be improved is the breakfast selection, especially in terms of chicken options. Adding a bit more variety there would make the experience even better for guests looking for more protein choices. Also, the checkout experience was not the most pleasant and felt less welcoming compared to the rest of the stay. A smoother and more courteous checkout process would leave guests with a much better final impression. That said, the stay overall was comfortable and enjoyable, and with a few improvements, this hotel could offer an even better experience.

I spent three nights at the Hampton by Hilton and had a wonderful stay. The hotel’s location is ideal, as most attractions are within easy walking distance. The property is clean and well maintained, offering a comfortable base for exploring Budapest. While the double bed felt a little small, the sofa bed was spacious and very comfortable, making it suitable for three adults. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a good variety, and I appreciated the convenience of water dispensers on every floor. Overall, an excellent choice that I would gladly return to on a future visit to Budapest.

The room was medium-sized, clean, and tidy, with a safe, but no slippers or toiletries. It wasn't facing the street, so it was very quiet, and offered a view of Fisherman's Bastion from the window. Breakfast was good, with freshly baked mini bread rolls and hot water available. Exiting the hotel, if you turn left, the M2 metro station is a few hundred meters away, and there's a chain supermarket nearby. There's also a tram stop right in front of the hotel. If you turn right, you can climb the stairs behind the hotel to reach Fisherman's Bastion, which involves three sections of stairs. Continuing straight after turning right, you can walk to Chain Bridge and Buda Castle. It's quite convenient and I'd recommend it to independent travelers. The only downside is that the shower area isn't fully enclosed, so water splashes out onto the floor. I suggest this be improved.

TTsinEX1997The room is incredibly spacious, even larger than suites in many high-end or luxury hotels. The service is excellent, and the breakfast pastries are top-notch. This is an absolute gem of a hotel, highly recommended! 👍

GGuest UserConveniently located right next to Exit N of Budapest-Keleti, despite that Exit N itself is difficult to locate and even unheard of by staff members of BKK Customer Service Centre. Many bus routes stopping right outside the hotel. Despite having a room on second floor facing directly at a flyover, the noise level is not noticeable.

JJerrrryWas staying in a female dorm, the bed is comfortable, the toilets shower room are very clean as I’ve seen the staff cleaned it quite often. The receptionist were so nice, they let me to take a shower and stay in the hostel until late on my check out date because I need to take a midnight bus on that night. Towel provided for free, there’s a hair dryer in the bathroom, u will need to prepare ur own shampoo and conditioner but they have soap for shower. Location is very good. Walking distance to most of the places.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse is on a lower stay standard than the hotel itself, however, for a single night the difference is not hugely important. I found the lack of soundproofing and creaky floors to be bothersome, next time I will stay in the hotel part of the establishment. However, for cost-conscious travellers, the guesthouse is still a great option, especially if you are in transit only.

GGuest UserThis hotel is perfectly situated for sightseeing around the Buda Castle.  Locations such as the Fishermen’s Bastion and the Museum and within easy walking distance (although including some stairs).  The Chain Bridge is close, giving easy access to the sights in Pest. The facilities in the hotel are excellent and the breakfast is top range. The service is second to none.  We received top service from the Room’s Division Manager. I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it highly.

AAnonymous UserMy recent stay at Bristol Budapest Hotel was an excellent experience from start to finish; I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest. I arrived at around 02:00, and despite the late hour, check-in was completely seamless. The staff were clearly expecting me; this made the whole process quick and effortless; exactly what you want after a long journey. The room itself was immaculately clean and very well presented. I appreciated the small touches; like the fridge stocked with a bottle of water, which can be replenished simply by taking it down to reception. The bed was very comfortable, with soft, high-quality linen that made for a great night’s sleep. There was also a good tea and coffee setup in the room; a welcome addition. Even though my room faced the street, I slept with the window open and wasn’t disturbed by noise at all; something that really stood out. The bathroom was spacious enough, with plenty of clean towels and some lovely complimentary toiletries. At one point I needed an iron and ironing board; reception provided both immediately without any fuss; which summed up the efficiency of the service throughout my stay. Breakfast was a real highlight. I had seen some mixed reviews beforehand, but I genuinely don’t understand why. The selection was extensive; covering both continental and hot options. Everything was beautifully presented, tasted great, and was constantly replenished and well maintained. It was easily one of the best parts of my stay. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. Every single person I encountered was friendly, helpful, and welcoming; always with a smile. That level of hospitality made a big difference. Overall, this is a solid and reliable option for anyone visiting Budapest; I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very close to the airport, and the shuttle bus is super convenient. The staff are warm, friendly, and professional. The hotel decor is unique, and the breakfast spread is excellent. The room was spacious, and there were even flight paths on the carpet! The only downside was that there was only one small bottle of 2-in-1 shampoo/body wash, and it was almost empty, making it very hard to squeeze anything out. I hope they can refill or replace it promptly next time.

AAnonymous UserStayed in the comfort twin room, the shower and beds are only separated by a thin curtain, there is no opaque door for the shower only a fully transparent shower screen. If you are traveling and staying with friends please take note it may be awkward as you can see the other person taking a shower if you want to walk past the shower area to the toilet. Very bad room design, how can there be no door to the shower!
