I love the sea view. Great place for relaxing.
Nevertheless, feel a bit discomfort when the check-in counter requested for the booking no. when after giving my IC.
When I said can't u trace it? The staff said, ”Kalau saya salah bg bilik nanti puan marah saya pulak.”
I found his remarks and tone were inappropriate.
Other than that, i love the sea view.
I had the opportunity to stay at Zenith Kuantan, and overall, it offers a comfortable and pleasant experience suitable for all types of travellers, especially families.
🧼 Cleanliness – 4/5 (Good)
The rooms and hotel areas are well-maintained, clean, and tidy. Although there is some room for minor improvements, the overall cleanliness standard is still solid and comfortable.
📍 Location – 5/5 (Excellent)
The hotel’s location is its biggest strength. Situated in a strategic area close to the city centre, shopping malls, and plenty of dining options, it’s perfect for guests who want easy access to various attractions and amenities.
👨💼 Service – 4/5 (Good)
The hotel staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Check-in and check-out processes are smooth. While response times could be slightly improved, the overall service quality is good and satisfactory.
🏊♂️ Amenities – 4/5 (Good)
The facilities—including the swimming pool, gym, and other amenities—are in good condition and well-maintained. Families will appreciate the available features. Still, there is some potential for upgrades to enhance the overall experience.

🎯 Overall Verdict
Zenith Kuantan is a solid hotel choice with an excellent location, good service, and a clean, comfortable environment. It suits families, couples, and solo travellers who want a balanced stay with easy access to the city.
If you’re looking for a well-equipped hotel in a convenient location, Zenith Kuantan is definitely worth considering.
We had such a pleasant family getaway at Colmar Tropicale with our two little ones. The whole experience was smooth and enjoyable from the moment we checked in. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when it came to assisting us with bags and stroller access — something we truly appreciate as parents of two babies!
The French-inspired village is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for slow family walks and photos. Our room was clean, spacious enough for the babies’ essentials, and comfortable for all of us. We also loved how calm the environment was, making nap times easy.
Overall good hotel, the interior of the room needs some serious refurbishment especially for their carpet and tv.
Due to monkeys, we couldn't open the window to get some fresh air.
Breakfast quite good, just lack on the drink variety. Only juice and coffee is offered.
It was as reviewed by others, cleanliness is acceptable but towels and even the sofas needs to be properly cleaned or replaced. It looks worn out and stained. The aircon was leaking on my first night, changed to another unit and realized there is inconsistencies with amenities. The 1st unit have more TV channels than the 2nd(probably due to technical issue), but the 2nd unit have a microwave and basic kitchen ware while the 1st unit do not. I could understand if this is Airbnb, but this is ‘Swiss Garden’, and is much more expensive with the same unit from Airbnb.
But overall it wasn’t too bad. Great improvement on the service lift, it wasn’t slow at all as complaints before, and parking was easy without needing to verify daily.
A very quiet resort hotel with considerate service and great food. Although the price of going out to sea is a bit more expensive than other local hotels, it is worth it to enjoy VIP service.
My second stay at Wyndham Ion Majestic. First stay was in a 2 bedroom. This time round decided to go for the three bedroom suite. Requested for mountain view, but due to the weather, it was foggy throughout the 3 nights stay. Rooms were clean and pleasant, with the regular housekeeping constantly replenishing the required drinking water and slippers. There is a new 7-11 that opened, awesome addition for an option for snacks, bread and cup noodles. Level 13 swimming pool, the larger pool is heated, kids enjoyed it till the very last moment where it closes at 9pm. Do visit the Hard Rock Cafe at level 50, comes with live band, great drinks and a cheesecake!
The parking is first come first serve. And on weekends the parking is full. Therefore you have to park pretty far away outdoors. This is not stated anywhere.
Despite having a room with no windows, the walls are incredibly thin. You can hear every conversation next door and every weekend there are cars zooming by on the road outside which are incredibly loud therefore you wont be able to get any sleep.
Suggest you look elsewhere.
What i like:
- Swimming pool
- Cleanliness
- Scenic view from the hotel room
- Easy Parking
What could be improved:
- Soundproofing (i can hear the voices from other guests that are a couple rooms away from mine)
- Breakfast (it was average. I loved the waffles though)
Other:
- The condition of the road leading to the hotel simply put is terrible. I've stayed at the residential building years before this hotel was even operational & even then the road was terrible & has remained the same if not worse now since there is plenty of construction works & new buildings being erected. So i guess this one won't change for awhile.
But for the hotel itself,
I give it an overall
8/10 ✨
The best place to stay at cameron highlands....view is solid ...breakfast is nice with a nice view and nice spread of food...clean and comfortable room....sleep really well with nothing to worry about.
Only 1 thing u got to have strong legs and stamina when u walk down the hotel to go to the bazaar or shops...so when u walk down u have to walk up so yah
Rooms there option of using fan or aircon or both if u love cold and toilet is clean...shop around the area is alot so dont have to worries of getting hungry late at night can grab food...

SShawal Abdul RahmanOverall its quite okay.. its just that I've hot a room with some bad odors .. seems like the pillows shouldn't be used anymore..the rest is just nice and fine. The surroundings are so marvelous. I shared some photos from my room's views..

PPiri-piriEnjoy the location as it is quite convenient, below are some eating shops. The room is clean and nice, the view is superb. However when I arrived on the first night, I was requesting for bottled water, toothbrush and slipper, the front counter said they have taken note and will send it over to me shortly, but I only get the toothbrush set. Then I made a second request, but still they didn't send me the bottled water and slipper. After the next day room service I have only received the bottled water (until checkout I didn't receive any disposable slippers).
AaoranOverall, it was a good experience. We also paid a bit extra for a room upgrade, and it was worth it to have a view.
The outdoor games were also good, though it was a pity that some of the play facilities were closed.
The Genting buffet breakfast was also great, with a good variety of choices.
IIda ARGreat service and friendly staff. However like many other review mention below, they are very strict regarding total occupants inside the room, my sister in law also said the same. Hence probably next resort board meeting, can consider to terminate / abolish the such rules. The resort must remember tourism in Malaysia are usually family oriented, hence should prioritise family friendly place/hotel/resort. Do not hurt the occupants/ visitors pf the resort’s feeling. Not all are privileged to book luxuries room for their family. Hope cam consider🙏 other resort/ hotel very rare have such rules. But overall okay, abort the rules would really recommend this place to relatives and friends.
QqttyaaLoved the stay, nice hotel, nice ambience, but hope i checked in earlier cause we ended up getting 2 single bed and not king bed because no available rooms anymore :((( breakfast buffet was okay, the spaghetti, cereal and porridge needs improvement, the others are delicious especially the homemade peanut butter, to die for!!! Loved it, wish I could take it home with me. Overall, it’s a nice stay.
