I had a comfortable and pleasant stay at Ibis Alicante. The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and offers easy access to the city centre and the beach, making it ideal for both short stays and transit. The rooms were clean and functional, with all the essentials needed for a relaxing night. The bed was comfortable, and the housekeeping service maintained high standards throughout my stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to answer questions or offer assistance with directions and transport. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Breakfast had a decent variety, including both hot and cold options. The lounge area was quiet and a nice place to unwind. Overall, Ibis Alicante provides great value for money and is a reliable choice for travellers looking for simple, clean, and well-located accommodation in Alicante.

Decent stay with a walking distance to old town Valencia. There is a good Korean BBQ and Chinese hotpot across the train tracks. Hotel reception is not 24 hours, so make sure you text them if you are arriving outside the operating hours. Room comes with kitchen amenities but no water provided.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! Palm Avenue, Mushroom Street, and the Castle Elevator are all within walking distance. The room has two bathrooms, both with showers. The room faces east, offering direct views of the sunrise with the beach, sea, and sky right outside the window. Plus, there are plenty of restaurants just across the street – so convenient!

The hotel was perfect! Breakfast and dinner were just wow! The hotel has 1 big pool and 1 rooftop pool that is heated. 25 min away from center of Alicante by public transport. Everything was 10/10.

However, this distance is clearly reflected in the price, which is noticeably lower than many Old Town hotels. If you don’t mind a bit of walking or are happy to use local buses or taxis, this isn’t really an issue and can actually be quite convenient if you prefer a quieter area. The hotel itself felt modern, clean and functional. Check-in was straightforward, and the reception staff were friendly and efficient. My room was simple but comfortable, with a good bed, a decent bathroom and plenty of space for luggage. It wasn’t luxurious, but it was perfectly adequate for a short overnight stay, especially if you’re just passing through Alicante. I didn’t take breakfast at the hotel, so I can’t comment on the food offering, but there are local cafés and convenience stores nearby if you prefer to eat out. The area around the hotel also feels safe and easy to navigate, which is important if you’re arriving or leaving at unusual hours. Overall, I would recommend Travelodge Alicante Puerto if you’re looking for affordable, reliable accommodation in Alicante and don’t mind being a little outside the main tourist zone. It’s particularly good for one-night stays, early flights, or budget-conscious travellers who want comfort without paying Old Town prices.

Our room had bed bugs, room Service skipped our room 2 times. When they actually do room service. There was black hair everywhere. Other rooms had a phone we did not. I feel like got one of their worst rooms.. but i would go back just to see if we had a bad room. Cause the staff is nice and the hotel “feels” great and has a great location!

Hotel bien, pero el personal muy poco amable y poco resolutivo, tuve un error a la hora de reservar y no me ayudaron en nada, me dieron el número para ponerme en contacto con gente que me lo podría solucionar y no me cogían ni el teléfono, me dieron otro número y era de una persona particular, muy poco resolutivos y poco comprensivos ya que como hotel donde yo he reservado deberían de tener un medio de contacto donde solucionar estos problemas y no lavarse las manos tan fácilmente.

The hotel is far from the airport, and a taxi costs about 25 euros. The famous Science City is nearby, which is a 5-minute walk away. There is free parking near the hotel, and you can also park in the hotel's underground parking lot (they said it was 15 euros a day, but they didn't charge me in the end). The hotel is not easy to find. The front is not big, and there is a bar at the door. The buffet breakfast is good, with the famous Spanish ham. You can also order meals. The room is not small, and the kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook. It is very quiet, and the security nearby is also good. You can run around the hotel in the morning. There are large supermarkets and small grocery stores nearby. It is quite convenient to buy things, and it is also convenient to go to the old town and the beach. The only downside is that the underground garage is very narrow, and parking is a test of skills.

The hotel is a franchise, so the decor is old; it just rebranded. The facilities inside are very basic. Plus, there are very few parking spaces, so we had to park on the street, which was inconvenient.
