We drove to there, but the arrival experience could be improved. The parking location isn’t clearly explained on the website, and the contact number was not reachable after working hours, which made things a bit frustrating. That said, once we settled in, the stay was very enjoyable. The facilities and overall service are good, with the Italian restaurant standing out in particular. The poolside service was also excellent and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The island itself is quite large, with beautiful views all around, making it a lovely place to unwind.

This is a very contradictory B&B hotel that I don't know if it is worth recommending. Its shortcomings and advantages are very prominent. The atmosphere was so comfortable and caring that it truly felt like a home away from home. The food was absolutely delicious, with every meal freshly prepared and full of flavor. One of the highlights of our trip was the tour to the Nubian Village, where we learned about Nubian culture, traditions and crocodile breeding. Our guide was knowledgeable, patient, and happy to answer every question we had, making the experience both enjoyable and educational. We noticed that some reviews mention the location as a downside. For us, however, it was not a problem at all. We were always able to arrange transportation whenever needed. While the cost of hiring drivers was slightly higher than what we experienced elsewhere, the convenience and overall experience more than made up for it. What truly sets this place apart is the people. Their kindness, hospitality, and constant willingness to help created a memorable experience that we will never forget. Everything is incredibly delicious and very filling. The breakfasts were so hearty that we had enough energy until evening. Be sure to try their fresh juices and Nubian tea – it's divine, and the coffee is excellent too. The only nuance to consider is the internet. It's not the most powerful, but you certainly can't call it weak. We worked remotely, video calls went without serious issues, and email and messengers worked perfectly. So, it was perfectly adequate for remote work. I would return here with great pleasure. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

The room was not only clean and tidy, but the bedding was also very comfortable; you can tell they put a lot of thought into the details. The most stunning feature, of course, was the unobstructed panoramic view of the Nile River outside the window. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, and enjoying a meal while gazing at the river view was an excellent experience. Whether it was the front desk, the restaurant, or room service, everyone was very professional and enthusiastic. I will definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

The hotel was excellent, very nice, clean and beautifully furnished. As for the services, there are literally uneducated people in the tourism industry working at the reception, such workers should not have contact with the client at all or should undergo training. On the contrary, the staff in the restaurant was very nice. Everything was great except for the staff at the reception.

The only minor issue was that the address was a bit hard to find, and navigating there by car was tricky. However, the room was very clean and, though small, had everything I needed. The owner, who looked Nubian, was incredibly helpful and friendly. Waking up to a Nile sunrise right from my bed was a fantastic experience!

This hotel has a unique decor style, full of childhood memories. We encountered a sandstorm the night we checked in, which was quite an experience! The hotel manager was very welcoming and provided excellent service, fulfilling all our needs. We stayed for four consecutive nights and really loved it. From here, you can take a boat to the other side of the Nile and enjoy the most beautiful views. The river breeze was very pleasant, and it wasn't hot during the day. The only downside was the Wi-Fi; it only worked in the lobby, and there was no signal in the room, which was inconvenient.

On our first night, the room was not clean. After our first complaint, housekeeping did a simple cleanup but it was still unsatisfactory. With our second complaint, a deeper cleaning was arranged, and the room was finally clean — though it was already past midnight (around 1am). The hotel staff apologized and kindly compensated us with a dinner discount, which we appreciated. Overall, we are happy with the team’s fast response and service recovery. One small feedback: the facilities’ opening hours (spa and gym) clash with typical sightseeing schedules. Since they open late and close early, we were unable to enjoy them.
