I chose this hotel for its location, and it definitely didn't disappoint! It's right next to Dacha City Metro Station, just a short walk from the exit. You can take the metro directly to attractions like the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Muslim Quarter, which is incredibly convenient for us 'special forces' tourists. The area around the hotel is full of local eateries. In the morning, I could just head downstairs for authentic Roujiamo and Hu La Tang (spicy soup), and in the evening, after exploring, I could grab some late-night snacks on the way back. Although it's an economy hotel, the room felt spacious. Even though the window faced the street, it wasn't noisy at all; the soundproofing was surprisingly good. The bed was comfortable, and there were pillows of different firmness to choose from, which is so important for someone who spends all day walking around! I can't even begin to describe how good it is in just 300 characters. This hotel truly made our Xi'an trip's accommodation experience perfect!

1. The overall location is very convenient. It's close to the Drum Tower and Bell Tower attractions, and you can reach the Muslim Quarter and Sajinqiao food street by bicycle. Plus, there's a direct shuttle to the Terracotta Warriors right outside the hotel, so it's all very convenient. 2. The hotel staff are very friendly. While the weather in Xi'an wasn't extremely cold, as someone from the north, having heating in the room is important. The heating on the second floor of the hotel was a bit slow to warm up, but the staff kindly gave us an extra key card so we could keep it plugged into the room's lock 24/7 for heating. The staff were really great. 3. The hotel's facilities are very complete and modern. The room was also spacious enough to accommodate two people with plenty of luggage. The overall style is minimalist, clean, and very comfortable. Overall, the hotel is quite good and recommendable. I've also included some photos of the hotel's surroundings.

This was our family of five's first trip to Xi'an, and we booked this Novotel near the Bell Tower on Trip.com. Having stayed at many Novotels in various cities, we decided to stick with a familiar brand. Our stay completely exceeded our expectations! The location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of a bustling commercial area, with a subway entrance directly outside – making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. The hotel rooms, ambiance, and service were all as excellent as we'd hoped. A very polite young lady at the front desk (whose name I didn't catch) provided exceptional service, truly impressive! Oh, and the breakfast spread was a highlight for me, offering a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes. The freshly ground coffee was also a nice touch 👍

Amazing location and kind host ! Room is clean and comfortable. Location is amazing just 5 minutes from metro and in the market so endless food to try. It is located in a backstreet but it was not hard to find as I saw in some comments, it is very safe and smiling neighbors. The host kindly showed me where to do my laundry and offered daily cleaning if needed. Very available by text for any question. Thank you and wish you the best !

The hotel amenities are also very complete; the gym equipment is brand new, the laundry room is clean and tidy, and even the mini-bar drinks are complimentary. I accidentally left my charger behind when checking out. Everything, from the location, ambiance, and facilities to the service, is impeccable. Next time I'm in Xi'an, I'll definitely choose this elegant hotel again to cherish the beauty and warmth of Chang'an once more.

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, unbelievably close to the subway station entrance—I'd estimate less than 20 meters. You're practically there in a few steps from the exit, which is a huge relief when you're lugging luggage, especially for travelers like us who rely on public transport. Plus, it's very close to the Bell Tower, about 200 meters away, just a few minutes' walk. It was perfect for seeing the Bell Tower at night, and there are tons of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The convenience for getting around is top-notch! The room itself was also a pleasant surprise. It was very clean and tidy overall, with no strange odors. The bedding was spotless and comfortable, and the room was decorated in a cozy way that made you feel right at home. All the facilities were well-maintained and easy to use, and it was very quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep. But the highlight has to be the service from the front desk staff – genuinely warm and attentive. From check-in to check-out, every interaction showed their professionalism and friendliness. They answered all our questions and even proactively offered local travel tips, making us feel incredibly welcome, almost like coming home. In summary, whether it's the location, room environment, or service attitude, this hotel is simply impeccable. It offers incredible value for money, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip here! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

This stay was very bad. Very bad. We were arranged to stay in the north. The north side faces the street. The cars passing by at 4 o'clock in the morning, especially the cement tankers, were very loud. It was impossible to fall asleep. No matter how good, comfortable, and welcoming the hotel is, it can't stand such noise, especially the window where I stayed was the entrance and exit of the parking lot, and there was an intelligent voice gate that announced the vehicle number in and out, which was very loud. The experience was very bad, and I would like to remind you. If you stay in this hotel, don't stay on the north side of the hotel.

The hotel is located in a garden area, and the room is relatively spacious. My friend felt that the shampoo products were very suitable for her to use. The hotel also has free laundry and drying services, and the waiters are very enthusiastic. Parking is free in the basement. Just call the front desk to report your license plate number when you go out. There are many restaurants near the hotel, which is convenient. Recommend everyone

Staying at a hotel by the city wall is how you truly understand the city's daily life. The Xiaonanmen morning market is very close, and it's easy to get there from the hotel. I chose this hotel purely for its proximity to the city wall, and the actual experience was even more comfortable than expected. The location is indeed convenient. Turn right out of the hotel entrance and walk for 5 minutes, and you're at the city wall walkway entrance. In the morning, you can stroll along the wall, feel the breeze, and watch the morning light spill over the brick seams – much more pleasant than fighting crowds at tourist spots. The standard room I booked didn't disappoint either; the window directly faced the side of the city wall with no obstructions. At night, you could see the warm glow on the wall, not harsh but very atmospheric. The hotel's overall style is unfussy, just clean and tidy. The bedding was quite soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was better than I imagined – I wasn't disturbed by footsteps outside. Breakfast was a simple spread of congee, steamed buns, and small side dishes, but it was fresh and hot. The front desk staff also proactively recommended good local noodle shops nearby, which saved a lot of hassle compared to searching on my own. If you're visiting this city and want a comfortable stay close to the city wall, this place is quite suitable. It doesn't have over-the-top gimmicks, just genuine convenience and comfort.

During my stay at Crowne Plaza, I found the accommodation very satisfactory. The room was a good size, featuring a comfortable, super large bed, mini fridge, kettle but no milk, this had to be requested. Also, the slow drainage in the shower was messy and inconvenient. Overall the room was very nice. The hotel’s lobby was spacious and attractively designed, setting a welcoming tone upon arrival. The lounge and the 40th-floor bar were definite highlights, offering a cool and inviting ambiance. The breakfast provided met standard expectations and was enjoyable. I’d like to extend a special acknowledgment to Tony, whose help during check-in and arranging breakfast in my room when I wasn’t feeling well was exceptional, demonstrating outstanding service. Crowne Plaza’s prime location adjacent to a mall and the bridge offered numerous options for leisurely walks and sightseeing, adding to the overall convenience. Although I didn’t personally utilize the gym or pool, they appeared to be well-maintained. Best hotel in the city for sure.

XXiaoqiyaWe stayed for two nights, on the 16th and 17th. On the 15th, I received a call from the hotel asking about our room preferences. I requested a room with a good view, non-smoking, and quiet. When we checked in, the staff assigned us room 213. This was the lowest floor I've ever stayed on in a hotel, and it was room number 13! I was surprised that the hotel actually had a room 13! How could an international hotel like this assign room 13 to a foreigner? During afternoon tea that day, besides my husband, myself, and an Asian mother and daughter, all the other guests were foreigners. This made me realize even more why I was so unlucky to get room 13! This hotel has such a unique room number 13, and they treat their own compatriots differently from foreigners! However, the smart toilet in room 13 was broken. It wouldn't automatically lift the lid or flush when you stood in front of it. What was even more unbearable was that as soon as you sat on it, the toilet would make a loud gurgling sound and automatically spray water on your backside. We tried it twice, and it happened both times. Also, the light switch was malfunctioning and didn't work. As a result, our room was changed to room 206. Neither room 13 nor room 06 had a French garden view; you could only see trees outside the window. Room 06 overlooked a concrete platform. I stayed during the off-season, and there were only a handful of guests at both afternoon tea and breakfast. Even during the peak breakfast time at 8 AM, there were only four tables with no more than ten guests. In such an off-season, why couldn't they offer us a higher floor with a better view? The male butler from the hotel called in advance on the 15th to ask about my room preferences; wasn't that just being insincere and fake? The staff's service level was inconsistent. Two female servers at afternoon tea and breakfast simply didn't observe guests' needs. The slim, tall female server in the afternoon tea restaurant had an ice-cold expression and no proactive service awareness. One female server in the breakfast restaurant looked like she hadn't woken up yet, with messy hair, no makeup, and ill-fitting work clothes, completely lacking the demeanor of a star-rated hotel employee. More importantly, this server didn't proactively observe guests' tables. Every time, we had to call her to take away the empty plates. Even more exaggerated, when she took away empty plates, she wouldn't simultaneously take away empty cups, nor would she think to ask. Let's talk about the problems with the breakfast restaurant: First, the flowers on the dining tables were fake! For a 'diamond-level' hotel like this, how can they put fake flowers on the tables? If they want to save costs, there are many ways: place some air plants or soilless succulents, or even small, easy-to-care-for plants. Anything real would be more tasteful than these fake ones. Regardless, a 'diamond-level' hotel should not have fake flowers on its dining tables. This is disrespectful to guests. Second, there was a wide variety of bread, but no chain-type toaster to heat the bread. This is usually a staple at the bread station in five-star hotels. Yet, at this 'super five-star' hotel, you can only eat cold bread for breakfast. Third, the restaurant only provided toothpicks, not dental floss sticks. Nowadays, even very ordinary restaurants offer dental floss sticks. A 'diamond-level' hotel like this should provide guests with dental floss sticks, and ideally, toothpick brushes. Additionally, the steps in the bathrooms of both room 13 and room 06 were damaged. In room 13, the hotel actually used cheap, uneven gray adhesive corner guards, which looked very out of place and clashed with the exquisite French decor. They should have used brass stair nosings! During my two-day stay at the hotel, Ms. Doris Du's kindness, politeness, proactive work attitude, and professional image left a very good impression on me. After we checked in and received our key, she led us to our room. She first gave us a tour of the hotel and introduced its history. On the day we checked out, she happened to be on duty at the front desk. She was the only staff member at the hotel who immediately stood up to greet guests upon seeing them! The only one! This small professional gesture of hers was like the first ray of sunshine in the morning, warming my heart! Recalling my check-in, there was a male and female staff member at the front desk. They did not stand up to greet us when guests checked in. When we received our room cards and got up to leave, they remained seated without moving. This is disrespectful to guests. Staff should stand up to greet guests when they arrive, ask them to sit down, and then sit down themselves to process the check-in. When guests receive their room cards and get up, the staff should also stand up to see them off. Such basic courtesies of polite welcome and farewell were completely lacking! On the day I checked in, I had two items of clothing that needed ironing. The female staff member who was on duty at the front desk that day came to our room to collect them. During the process of opening the door to see her, handing her the clothes, and briefly communicating with her, she maintained an ice-cold demeanor throughout, without a hint of a smile. She was not the only female staff member in this hotel who provided service without a smile. In summary, all these issues, and more, expose the hotel's unprofessional training and inadequate management. Sofitel Legend People's Grand Hotel Xian is not directly affiliated with the Sofitel group; it is part of the People's Grand Building owned by Shaanxi Urban Investment and Operations Group Co., Ltd., and is operated by AccorHotels, a French hotel management group. Therefore, the experience was vastly different from the Sofitel hotels I've stayed at abroad.

MM19737****Facilities: Quite new. It would be even better if they had smart toilets, especially since there's a lot of spicy food in Xi'an. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. The cleaning staff were also very helpful. Environment: Not on the main road, so no worries about motorbikes revving loudly. Service: The service is genuinely excellent. They offer airport pick-up/drop-off, the breakfast is delicious, the front desk staff are all very friendly, and they even have special gifts and souvenirs for children, along with booster seats. They also provide sweet soup and foot baths in the evening. Very satisfied!

__WeChat279712****Stepping in, I was immediately charmed by the wooden aesthetic in the photos. The warm-toned tables and chairs, huge windows filtering in light and shadows, and the stone pillars and greenery in the courtyard outside created a space that felt both ancient and incredibly soothing. Enjoying afternoon tea here completely filtered out the hustle and bustle of Xi'an. The room quality was superb; the plush bed coupled with the tranquil atmosphere made me never want to get up! It's only a 10-minute walk to the Drum Tower and Muslim Quarter. After exploring the Bell Tower and Stele Forest during the day, you can stroll over to the Muslim Quarter in the evening for a bowl of 'paomo' (crumbled flatbread in lamb broth) and then leisurely walk back – no need to rush for transportation at all! The service was also incredibly thoughtful. A warm breakfast was delivered to the room – sweet porridge and fragrant dishes; the afternoon tea was arranged like a work of art, perfect for spending the whole afternoon by the window. They even arranged supper perfectly. The staff responded instantly to requests and were very attentive. And there was even a farewell gift when I left! [Strong]👍

GGuest UserThe front desk staff of the hotel provided excellent service. Before I went to stay at their hotel, the customer service staff should have called me to ask if I knew the specific location of the room and our hotel. Later, they sent me the specific location of the hotel, arranged the room for me in advance, and told me the room number. The room layout is also very large, the space is also very good, and the dry and wet areas are separated. Moreover, their hotel is relatively easy to find, and it is also relatively close to the nearby subway entrance, which is very convenient to go to any tourist attractions. The customer service girl has a very good service attitude and sent me fruit. The room air conditioning is also very warm, and the staff are very enthusiastic. There is also afternoon tea in the lobby on the first floor, as well as free midnight snack service. It is really enthusiastic. The facilities and equipment of a hotel with a very high cost performance are quite good.
