The hotel was clean and offered great value for money. While the breakfast selection was a bit limited, it's a good place to stay if you're visiting Hallstatt, and it's also very convenient for exploring the lake district. We actually had a lot of trouble figuring out transportation to Hallstatt initially, going out of our way unnecessarily. Turns out, there's a train station just about 500 meters from the hotel, which offers easy access to many places. This station also doubles as a bus stop. You can take the 542, then transfer to the 543 or 541/544 to reach Hallstatt or Gosau. The train and bus schedules are seamlessly connected, making it super convenient. We wish we had known this earlier, as the transportation issues caused us a lot of stress. I'd suggest the hotel create a Chinese transportation guide to help future guests avoid similar travel difficulties.

Extremely satisfied with this hotel! Even though we booked an economy room, it was the largest I've ever stayed in abroad. Our room opened up to a garden, and it was fully equipped, including kitchenware (just bring your own seasonings and oil). The supermarket right outside sells organic products, which are a bit pricey. You can drive to the Eurospar supermarket about 600 meters away for more options, but be mindful of their opening hours – they usually close at 7 PM and at 6 PM on Saturdays. The experience felt just like home. A stroll around the small town after dinner was also very chill.

We had such a wonderful stay at Cooee Alpin in Hallstatt! ❤️ The hotel was beautiful, comfortable, and perfectly located to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the area. Waking up to the stunning mountain views was truly unforgettable. One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing breakfast! 🥐☕️ There was a great variety of fresh and delicious options, with something for everyone. Everything was beautifully presented and made for the perfect start to our days exploring Hallstatt.

The view from our balcony was breathtaking, by the lake and serene. An awesome place to relax and enjoy the peaceful scenery. There’s also a cafe right next to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again if I come back. The hotel is walking distance from Obertraun train station. No need to get off at Hallstatt station and lug your luggage up and down the hill and then load the luggage onto the ferry and unload. Then drag your luggage across Hallstatt to the bus stop at the other side of town. Easy way get off at Obertraun train station and walk to Haus Am See.

The hotel is actually a boutique B&B. The facilities and room sizes are better in the town. The lake view from the window is beautiful, but the hotel is not in the most central location of the town. It is on the hillside. Fortunately, the whole town is not big, and it is less than 200 meters to the town center or the town entrance for the best photos and check-ins.

Couldn't get a room on the first day, so they gave me one on the ground floor. The next day, after Ctrip helped me communicate with them, they moved me to the 4th floor, which had a good view. I had dinner at the hotel twice, and the food was pretty good. I recommend the steak. Breakfast was also nice :) I'd come back again if I have the chance.

Very nice resort with spacious compound, and very convenient. We took a boat from the resort to Hallstatt, 10 euro per person. From Hallstatt, there is a public bus taking us right to the bus stop in front of the resort. However, I was quite disappointed with the wrong information in trip.com regarding the rooms. Intially I wanted to book a chalet with 2 rooms as we are a group of 2 couples. When i made the booking, trip.com website stated that 1 room can fit in max 2 persons. So naturally i had to book 2 rooms. When i arrived that the resort i was shocked to find out that I was misled to pay for 2 chalets with 4 rooms! We didn't use the other chalet of course. It was totally unfair that because of the wrong information in trip.com, we have to pay for 2 other rooms that we didn't need at all. I am asking for compensation from trip.com regarding my loss and it's been 4 days and i am still waiting to hear from them for a solution.

Disappointing stay at this hotel. 1. Thermostat not working within the room were the ambient temperature I guess was around 25 degrees. As front desk to resolve and was advised that none of the thermostats within the hotel worked as it was centrally heated. Advise was to open the window...obviously the front desk rep would not have slept in this room with the window open to the traffic noise. 2. Paid room tax by cash upon arrival and requested receipt for expenses and was advised i would receive this at checkout. So at checkout I was then advised the hotel had emailed the receipt to me and as you can guess I never received. Front desk then advised it was being resent and likewise never received. To the manager...I will ensure a return visit to your hotel in the coming weeks and expect you to refund my 4.50 Euros!

The hotel is located in the city center, not far from many attractions, all within a 10-minute walk. The surroundings are quiet, comfortable, and pleasant. The room isn't large, but there's enough space for two people. The cleanliness is satisfactory, and there's even a coffee machine to make your own coffee. The only downside is that the bathroom lacks convenient storage space.

Great courtyard hotel with good size room which is hard to find in Linz. Wonderful breakfast buffet with bacon eggs hash browns etc so you can start the day on full stomach. Many thanks to the front desk for their patience in helping a grumpy jetlagged travel....your assistance was greatly appreciated!
