Royal Vienna Palace - love sissi & frank
Beautiful summer palace where Sissi lived. Grand tour 42 rooms. It's worth while to buy a Sissi combiticket, then you can skip the line and you don't have a timeslot.
You can enter the Palace Park free of charge during opening hours. If you wish to visit to the Schönbrunn special attractions, such as the Privy Garden, the Orangery Garden or the Maze, you need to purchase individual admission tickets
This tour includes 40 rooms and takes approximately 50 minutes. Besides the 22 rooms seen on the Imperial Tour you'll also see the precious 18th-century interiors from the time of Maria Theresa.
Lastly, you're not allowed to take photos inside. So I would suggest sticking to the outside of Schonbrunn Palace. The grounds are really what makes this place so amazing! And most of the grounds are totally free to walk around and explore.
Valid for single admission to all included attractions on the day chosen. This ticket does not include a guided tour. Audio guides or printed descriptions for
€26.00

lovely city 🌆
i travelled to Vienna with some collegues of mine for only a weekend, and we had an absolute blast! It was a bit windy, but the temperature was perfect to go outside with a light jacket. We visited lots of museums and places and couldn’t have it enough 🤍
I suggest to buy a Vienna City Card: you can travel with all the public transports plus it gives you some discounts on ticket museums!
Even if it is a little far from the center, I suggest you to visit the Schönbrunn Palace because it is immaculate: you will spend an entire day in it and the gardens are so beautiful with different activities and mazes 😻

Experiencing fall in Vienna, Austria
#fallingforfall #bucketlistreboot #tripblazers
Check out some stunning photos of the Schönbrunn Palace from my recent visit to Vienna, Austria. It was once the home of the Holy Roman Emperor and the imperial family, the Habsburgs. Think of Maria Theresa, Holy Roman Empress and mother of Marie Antoinette. Yes, the last Queen of France! It was spectacular to walk in the gardens of the palace and know that you might have just stood or sat in the very same spot as the last Queen of France nearly 250 years ago.
Schönbrunn is easily accessible from Vienna. If you take the underground metro, use the U4 (green color line) service and alight at Schönbrunn. Buses go there too! I took 10A to Schloss Schönbrunn. The authentic Viennese experience would be to go there by tram. A couple of buses do go to Schloss Schönbrunn too.
There are many things to do at the palace. I recommend going for a stroll in the beautiful gardens, especially during the start of fall (now!). There are many lovely statues and fountains to awe at too. For the little ones, head over to the Children's Museum.
For a full afternoon at the palace, I suggest getting the Classic Pass for €31. You get a tour (audio guide), a visit to the gardens, maze, as well as a viewing terrace with gorgeous panoramic views of Vienna.
What a charming trip back in time! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

❓Did you know that at the age of six Mozart performed a concert for the Royal family at Schönbrunn Palace?
ℹ️ Schönbrunn Palace was the main summer residence of the Habsburg rulers, located in Hietzing, Vienna. The name Schönbrunn (meaning “beautiful spring”) has its roots in an artesian well from which water was consumed by the court.
The interiors, the tapestries, the furniture, all exquisite and worth a visit to crown your city break in Vienna. Also don’t forget the gardens! Picturesque landscape combined with impressive fountains make it a sure rival of the Versailles gardens. We found that The Gloriette in the gardens offered a spectacular view of the estate and were impressed by the Crown Prince Garden and Palmenhaus.

Schonbrunn palace is in #austria , a country with many palaces. The pictures are from the winter time. The snow makes this place even nicer. It features small shops just around the entrance. Unfortunately I couldn't enter the palace because of temporary closure but next time is in my to do list definitely. #schonbrunn

# Vienna Schnbrunn Palace
Vienna's Schnbrunn Palace, is a popular attraction, equivalent to the summer palace of the Habsburg royals. Its name comes from the Holy Roman Emperor Matthias (reigned from 1612 to 1619). It is said that in 1612 he hunt to the Fort Kate between Meidling and Hietzing, drinking the spring water, refreshing the sweet potato, and naming this The spring is "US Spring", and since then "Meiquan" has become the name of this region. In 1743, the Austrian Empress Maria Teresia ordered the construction of the magnificent Schnbrunn Palace and Baroque gardens, with a total area of 26,000 square meters, second only to the French Palace of Versailles. But unlike Versailles, it has a raised back hill that overlooks the entire city of Vienna.
Years of change, glory is not, how many romantic figures, still look at the present.
Travel tips:
1. Entrance tickets are divided into two teams, machine and labor. Tickets purchased by automatic machines cannot use the city pass offer. Please note. After the ticket is purchased successfully, the admission time will be specified, and it is necessary to enter the venue at that point in time, in order to control the flow of people.

Traveling in Europe, if you don't have enough time, please leave a day for Vienna. As the capital of Austria, the world famous music capital, located in Vienna on the Danube River is beautiful and romantic. Step out of the Vienna train station, follow the signs, and start from the World Heritage Schnbrunn Palace, measuring the beautiful city with your footsteps. One of the benefits of European cities is that even if you don't go to every famous attraction, it's like going through a lot of places. When I went to Vienna, there were only a few hours during the day, and important sights such as Schnbrunn Palace, Old Town, St. Stephen's Cathedral, City Hall, Church of Our Lady, St. Peter's Church, etc., actually left on both legs. Again. Although a little hasty, but also left enough reason for the next time!
Vienna in bloom

Cafés spill onto cobblestone squares, inviting visitors to savor coffee and pastries amidst the gentle breeze. Parks such as Volksgarten and Belvedere Gardens burst with vibrant blooms, offering serene retreats for leisurely strolls. The Danube River glistens under the sun, providing a tranquil backdrop for boat rides and scenic walks. From classical concerts to outdoor markets, Vienna in Spring is a symphony of charm and allure for tourists.

Schönbrunn Palace Wienn
Royal day
During the reign of Maria Theresa, as an imperial summer residence, Schönbrunn Palace became the glittering focus of court life. From this time on, it played host to the leading statesmen of Europe.
Nice as the surrounding sights and gardens are (more on that below), if you're going to go to Schönbrunn Palace then you really ought to go inside Schönbrunn Palace. The main way to do this is to book a self-guided tour ticket and time slot, but don't skimp and do the smaller Imperial Tour.
The former summer residence of the Habsburgs impresses with imperial ceremonial rooms, magnificent gardens, and a lavish virtual reality experience. Maria Theresa, Emperor Franz Joseph, Empress Elisabeth and others once resided at Schönbrunn Palace.

Checkinaway (@checkinawayblog) Vienna
The first seven pavilions of the Summer Palace were once the royal summer palace and one of the most beautiful Baroque palaces in Europe. Walking here feels more like being in a large garden than a palace. The area is very large and well-organized, with every detail in its proper place.
Starting from the eighth picture, I particularly like the Beauty Palace. Although it is not large in size, it is very delicate. Even the trees on both sides of the road are trimmed neatly, which is very distinctive.
Had lunch at a pork cutlet restaurant located in an underground air-raid shelter. The pork cutlet was delicious.
Habsburg Dynasty Summer Palace - Schönbrunn Palace
Schönbrunn Palace is a Baroque-style art building located in the southwest of Vienna, the capital of Austria. It was once the palace of the Holy Roman Empire, the Austrian Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the Habsburg royal family.
In 1830, Emperor Franz Joseph I, the first emperor of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and husband of Princess Sissi, was born in Schönbrunn Palace, where he spent his childhood and summer youth.
In 1848, after succeeding as the Emperor of Austria and the King of Hungary, Schönbrunn Palace experienced another glorious era. It was the favorite and longest residence of Franz Joseph I, until he completed his final journey of life in the palace in 1916.
Currently, the surroundings of Schönbrunn Palace are still planted with large areas of Princess Sissi's favorite red roses.
Princess Sissi became well-known to the world because of the eponymous film in the 1950s. The beautiful Schönbrunn Palace and Triumphal Arch, which served as the backdrop at the time, were truly unparalleled in their beauty.
But to climb to the Arc de Triomphe, there is a really steep slope.
The Triumphal Arch of Schönbrunn Palace is a viewing pavilion in the highest point garden of Schönbrunn Palace, built to commemorate the just war waged by the Austrian people for peace. This building, designed by the Austrian royal architect in 1775, was originally used as a restaurant and breakfast room for Emperor Joseph I.
At the top of the Arc de Triomphe, the fence is the observation deck. Looking down from the observation deck, the beautiful scenery of the Palace of Fontainebleau and the gardens is spectacular.
Visitors are not allowed to take photos inside the Schönbrunn Palace, and the experience inside is similar to that of the Empress Sissi Museum. The main attraction is the opportunity to see what the real palace rooms looked like during that time.
At the Schönbrunn Palace, you can also see the simple and diligent life that Franz Joseph I spent here.
Royal Garden
The magnificent Meiquan Palace does not allow photography inside, so just take a picture of the royal garden behind it. The garden is a typical landscape design, with 45 statues of Greek mythological figures standing tall and neat in front of the tall and orderly green tree wall. At the end of the garden, there is a fountain themed around the Greek sea god.
Schonbrunn Palace in Vienna, Austria has opened my mind further into european architecture. This massive palace is very exotic and the weather in here is very lovely. Inside, the palace is as luxurious as ever. What a wonderful place. #wintergetaway

The Palace is very easy to reach by public transport (U Bahn). Free entry to the gardens, pay for the Palm and Desert Houses.
Schnbrunn Palace is a Baroque art building in the southwest of Vienna. It was once the royal palace of the Roman Empire and the Austrian Empire. The Schnbrunn Palace was built in the 14th century, and the Emperor Matisse of the Holy Roman Empire hunted here. The sweet spring water here was refreshed and sweet, and the word "Meiquan" was obtained. Today's Schnbrunn Palace is open to the public free of charge. Visitors are free to visit and take pictures. The real royal palace needs to buy tickets and not take pictures.
The commanding heights of Vienna's Schnbrunn Palace: Meiquanshan!
The entire hill of Meiquan Mountain is an open lawn, and many activities will be held here! Every year at the end of May and early June, the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra will hold an open-air "Night Palace Summer Concert" at the Schnbrunn Palace Garden. At that time, this Meiquan Mountain will be full. The audience of the music, the scene is very spectacular!
In the days when there was no activity, Meiquan Mountain became a good place for people to relax and relax. With family, three or two friends, take a walk and chat...
When I first came here, I liked it! Standing on the heights, the palace at the foot extends to the entire city of Vienna. The vast space makes your thoughts drift into the distance. What is in the distance? We are always looking for it~
Playing on the mountain for a while, preparing On the way back, I once again wore the shades created by the designers. This place has flowers and grasses and large trees. Perhaps it is the royal members who take care of the national events and want to release their feelings and get rid of the troubles... So there will be so many roads. So many choices...
Meiquan Palace Arrival: Metro at Schonbrunn station, 5 minutes walk
Schnbrunn Palace: need to buy tickets, can be found on the official website Tour route
Schonbrunn Palace garden: free
I heard that the Austrian people had to buy tickets to listen to music even if they had no money. Today, they finally had the chance to listen to a concert at the prestigious Schnbrunn Palace in Vienna!
Inside is super exquisite, there are a lot of candles in a good atmosphere~
Music effect is super good~ Westerners are very particular about dressing up in formal wear, feeling that this orange little skirt is also Its quite a haha. Haha.
Schnbrunn Palace was once the royal palace of the Holy Roman Empire, the Austrian Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Habsburg dynasty. It is now Vienna's most prestigious tourist attraction, and Schnbrunn Palace and its gardens are listed by UNESCO. Cultural Heritage List.
The palace that was planned to become a greater building than the Palace of Versailles
It is a pity that the palace of the princess's favorite palace is not allowed to take pictures in the palace. The security guard is very tight and can't use the camera or mobile phone to capture the moment. I dazzled to visit 45 of the 1441 rooms (open to the public for visit) The room), the degree of grandeur can be compared with the Palace of Versailles, but the smaller area can also be said to be the pocket version of the Palace of Versailles, but the decoration is much more refined than the Russian summer palace. The courtyard behind the palace is full of flowers and birds. The back garden of the Palace of Versailles is sunken, and the Schnbrunn Palace is moving up, as stunning as it is.
Schnbrunn Palace has experienced hundreds of years of wind and rain as the emperor's summer palace, and it is still brilliant. Behind the palace is a large Baroque garden. Napoleon lived in the palace when he occupied Vienna twice. The famous composer Mozart also played the piano for the Queen in his childhood. The famous Princess Sissi and Franz also lived here and had a happy time. Here, you will think of the Princess Sissi in the movie: When you feel lonely and helpless, you can go to nature. You can feel life everywhere from every tree and every flower. I feel that God is by our side. Perhaps it is this kind of open beauty that only comforts the injured heart.
Behind the Schnbrunn Palace, there is a grand garden, the Royal Garden, which is a great place for people to relax and enjoy sightseeing!
The entire Royal Garden is very grand and it took a whole afternoon and it still seems to have not traveled through every corner of it. Instead of rushing to the road, it is better to relax. Here, you can always find a private world that belongs to you.
Responsible travel Tips
1 is the Royal Garden, you can play for an afternoon. The entire Schnbrunn Palace area consists of Schnbrunn Palace, the Royal Garden and the Arc de Triomphe, and there are many landscapes such as the Greenhouse Botanical Garden and the Zoo in the Royal Garden, which can be fully enjoyed for a day;
2The Royal Garden is large and there are many google maps The road to guidance has actually been blocked. You don't have to think about strolling through the garden, just enjoy it.

To say that the Europeans were named after the routines, Schnbrunn Palace and the French Fontainebleau Palace are exactly the same, but also named after a beautiful spring. It was once the summer residence of the Habsburg dynasty family and is now a museum that shows visitors from all over the world the heyday of the Habsburg royal family.
The history of Schnbrunn Palace can be traced back to the Middle Ages. Later, an Austrian emperor gave Schnbrunn Palace a gift as a gift to the daughter, the daughter of the European mother-in-law Maria Theresa. When her father passed away, her daughter succeeded. When she was in power, she rebuilt the Schonbrunn Palace on a large scale. The Schnbrunn Palace entered its heyday and became the center of the royal family. The only female ruler of the Habsburg dynasty, Maria Theresa, is one of the few female figures in European history. She has been in Austria for 40 years and is regarded as the mother of the Austrians. She has a famous saying - "I prefer peace of peace, not a brilliant victory." I think this is why she gave birth to 16 children in 20 years, and political marriage is part of her ruling means, so her daughter Almost all sent to marry another country in Europe, this is the origin of her "European wife". Queen Mary, who was sent to the guillotine during the French Revolution, was her little daughter.
