Wood Coffee Co
#londontrip
- Today we got to explore a coffee shop I’ve been wanting to try for a hot minute! So beautiful and colorful, the inside was so warm and inviting!
- I got the iced Cookie Butter Work latte (all their drinks come automatically with oat milk!! But you can sub if you’d like) its definitely more on the mild side, so if you’re more into less sweet this is a good option
- Ellen got an iced lovesick blues which is a lavender matcha, very strong herbal and floral flavors, also on the less sweet side!
- The pastry is a pandan tapioca bun and it was sooooo good! Super fluffy, warm, slight chew, and a light sweetness to it
"Wood Coffee Co. is an all plant based queer owned and operated business in the city of Long Beach, CA. Our goal (with being plant based) is to take care of the earth which grows our coffee so we can keep it around and additionally support the local queer community along the way by actions and holding space when and where we can. While there are others out there in the world, it’s something that is still rather niche in comparison to the average shop.
What stood out to me about Slayer is the sleek and unique design combined with the capability to prove it’s not just about looks. The Slayer Steam EP is rather user-friendly and consistent as is, but there is also a lot of room for customization once you get comfortable to explore and experiment."

Eiffel Tower Travel Recommendations for 2023 (Updated in Dec)
THE STUNNING EIFFEL TOWER.
The Eiffel Tower (/ˈaɪfəl/ EYE-fəl; French: Tour Eiffel [tuʁ ɛfɛl] ⓘ) is a wrought-iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars in Paris, France. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built the tower from 1887 to 1889.
Locally nicknamed "La dame de fer" (French for "Iron Lady"), it was constructed as the centerpiece of the 1889 World's Fair, and to crown the centennial anniversary of the French Revolution. Although initially criticised by some of France's leading artists and intellectuals for its design, it has since become a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognisable structures in the world.[4] The tower received 5,889,000 visitors in 2022.[5] The Eiffel Tower is the most visited monument with an entrance fee in the world:[6] 6.91 million people ascended it in 2015. It was designated a monument historique in 1964, and was named part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site ("Paris, Banks of the Seine") in 1991.

Magnificent Colosseum
Located just east of the Roman Forum, the massive stone amphitheater known as the Colosseum was commissioned around A.D. 70-72 by Emperor Vespasian of the Flavian dynasty as a gift to the Roman people. In A.D. 80, Vespasian’s son Titus opened the Colosseum—officially known as the Flavian Amphitheater—with 100 days of games, including gladiatorial combats and wild animal fights.
After four centuries of active use, the magnificent arena fell into neglect, and up until the 18th century it was used as a source of building materials. Though two-thirds of the original Colosseum has been destroyed over time, the amphitheater remains a popular tourist destination, as well as an iconic symbol of Rome and its long, tumultuous history.

THE AMAZING LOUVRE.
The Louvre (English: /ˈluːv(rə)/ LOOV(-rə)),[4] or the Louvre Museum (French: Musée du Louvre [myze dy luvʁ] ⓘ), is a national art museum in Paris, France. It is located on the Right Bank of the Seine in the city's 1st arrondissement (district or ward) and home to some of the most canonical works of Western art, including the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. The museum is housed in the Louvre Palace, originally built in the late 12th to 13th century under Philip II. Remnants of the Medieval Louvre fortress are visible in the basement of the museum. Due to urban expansion, the fortress eventually lost its defensive function, and in 1546 Francis I converted it into the primary residence of the French Kings

A Whirlwind Adventure in Paris
May in Paris has been an exhilarating whirlwind. Work has been non-stop, keeping me on my toes throughout this crazy month, but hey, it's all part of the thrill, right? My long-awaited trip to Paris was originally scheduled before the global pandemic hit, but I had to postpone it until now. And let me tell you, this city has exceeded my expectations.
Paris, the city of lights, has a certain charm that I couldn't have imagined. It's not as intimidating as I thought, it's even better! A special shoutout to all the enticing shops that I received messages from, although I couldn't make it to all of them in time. Time flies, and it's already been five days since I arrived. Initially, I thought I had an abundance of time, but Paris has captivated me completely.
In this city, beauty is found in every corner, despite the occasional trash you might come across. And the food, oh my, it's simply divine! The waiting times for popular spots may test your patience, but the experience is truly out of this world. Shopping is a pure joy, except for the elusive Chanel - always sold out by the time you're ready to splurge. However, Celine is an absolute dream, offering a delightful range of options.
The museums here are an absolute treat. I'm loving their stunning organization. Paintings and artworks command your attention, with one in particular capturing my soul. It's a moment you'll cherish forever.
Leaving Paris is bittersweet, but I'll be back in a heartbeat. This city has left an indelible impression and ignited a wanderlust that won't settle until I return. Paris, until we meet again, au revoir.

The Immersive Experience of Louvre Museum
Louvre Museum. I'm totally into this museum, but my legs are dragging me down. It's a world-renowned museum in the heart of Paris, showcasing an extraordinary collection of artworks from around the globe. The museum takes you on a journey through different periods of history, revealing fascinating insights into civilization, religion, and art.
As you walk through the ornate galleries, you'll feel like you're walking through time itself. From ancient Egyptian artifacts to Greek sculptures to French masterpieces, the Louvre Museum has it all. One of the highlights of the museum is undoubtedly the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, a painting that never fails to mesmerize viewers.
But with such an extensive collection, it's easy to get lost in the museum's labyrinthine halls. My tip is to download the Louvre's app and plan your visit beforehand. This way, you can easily navigate the museum and avoid the crowds.
A visit to the Louvre Museum is an immersive experience like no other, one that will ignite your curiosity and leave you in awe of the beauty and intricacy of the world's finest art pieces. Don't forget to take a moment to soak in the surroundings, and you might just discover an unexpected masterpiece that takes your breath away.
