Citywalk at Twg tea
#citywalk
Address - 2 Bayfront Avenue B1-122/125 The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, 018972
Highlights - TWG tea on the bay located at the marina bay sands
My husband's favorite is the TWG tea. His favorite would have to be the French earl grey. The aromatic smell comes out from his tea each time he prepares it, I will always have a sip before I pass to him. I preferred the simplicity of the green tea. It was not too strong for me, yet it has the fragrance aroma that makes me like it so much. Though the price for the TWG tea is higher than other brands of tea, we do try them out occasionally for their aroma fragrance and taste.
A walk to Famous Bakery
#citywalk
Address - 13 Stamford Rd, #01-19/20 Capitol Singapore, Singapore 178905
Highlights - Wu Pao Chun bakery
Another highlight at the capitol plaza shopping mall opposite the city hall mrt station is the famous Wu Pao Chun bakery. The flagship store was located there. The prices of their bread seems to be higher compared to the other bakeries in town, but the quality of their freshly bread is really worth the penny. Before my husband and I begin our city walk towards the Singapore river, we bought along few breads there. We bought their curry chicken crunch as my husband loves curry gravvy flavoured bread, as well as the bread topped with sunny side egg and a slice of ham. The taste of their breads were great. We both enjoyed their bread along the way.
Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel
#hotelreview My recent stay at the Marriott Tang Plaza in Singapore was nothing short of fantastic. This iconic building stands tall in the Singaporean landscape and has become a landmark in its own right. As a Titanium Elite member, I was privileged to enjoy early check-in at 10 am and an upgrade to an executive suite, setting the tone for a memorable stay.
One of the standout features of this hotel is its unbeatable location. Situated within walking distance of numerous high-end shops and establishments, it's a haven for those looking to explore and indulge in retail therapy. Exiting the hotel, you're just steps away from escalators that lead to a world of shops and delectable dining options. Even underground, clear exit signs guide you to the right street, ensuring you won't get lost in this bustling area.
Back at the hotel, I made it a point to catch the happy hour at the M on the fifth floor. This delightful experience offered an array of finger foods and an excellent wine selection. The happy hour starts at 5:30 in the afternoon and concludes at 8:30 pm, making it a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration.
The comfort of my room was another highlight of my stay. The beds were incredibly soft and plush, providing the perfect sanctuary for a restful night's sleep. Moreover, the powerful air conditioning system was more than up to the task of beating the Singaporean heat, creating a comfortable oasis within the room. Whether returning from a day of exploring or seeking respite from the tropical climate, the cool and refreshing ambiance inside the room was a welcome relief.
While the Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel may not be the most opulent choice in Singapore, it more than makes up for it with its functionality, unbeatable location, and the added perks for Titanium Elite members. It's undeniably a must-stay destination in Singapore for both leisure and business travelers alike.
Hua Ting Restaurant - worth the calories!
Centrally located in Orchard, Hua Ting could easily be one of the restaurants in town serving the best dim sum and Chinese cuisine - totally worth the calories!
Some of the dishes I tried were the chicken soup that tastes so nutritious, the Peking duck with perfectly roasted skin that melts in your mouth, roasted pork belly with such crispy skin.. and so many other more dishes that were definitely worth try. Ingredients were fresh and all piping hot when served, which is exactly how it should be!

The decoration is white, cream, brown, simple, with a real Korean vibe. Tiny, lovely, minimal style cafe.

Kuala Lumpur Travel Recommendations for 2023 (Updated in Sep)
What to eat at Mid Valley
#weekendgetaways bring me to Malaysia for weekend feasting at Mid Valley Food court and restaurant. There are way too many food options, and it is difficult to try all of them. Almost all the stores always have customers waiting in queues so you can try to come during off peak timing. Most of the eateries do not practice reservations or mobile queue system. So have to queue in person physically outside the eateries. You also can go cashless here and almost all the eateries can accept cards and you can use TnG, Malaysia e-wallet too to get the best rates.
1 of the top 10 best Nasi Kandar in KL!
#myfoodies
A full plate of rice with mixed gravy of different dishes and your choice of chicken, lamb, or beef, Nasi Kandar is a must-try Malaysian food!
Cargas Nasi Kandar, originated from Penang, has now opened a new branch in TTDI, KL!
Me and my friends and I tried different dishes. Mine was Ayam masak hitam with sautéed cabbage, my boyfriend took fried chicken, and my other friends chose to have lamb curry and other side dishes
Honestly, it wowed me as the gravy is not thick, which is usually the thick gravy that gives you the "umph" effect, but this one, outdid, my first reaction 🤤
Costed us about RM15+ per head, inclusive the drink (depending on the menu), which is affordable and standard price
📍 Nasi Kandar Cargas, TTDI

- KL sentral station: 0.2 km (linked bridge avail)
- China town: 2.7 km
- KLCC: 3 km
- Kl Tower: 5.1 km
- Merdeka 118: 3.4 km
Personally love the Refuel grab and go station near to the check in counter so much as it just so chill sitting there while working and drinking a cup of self-made coffee + having snacks. However, it is not offering free items and the price would be a little bit high so worth it or not, it depends on you!!!
Swimming pool is definitely a plus point for this city hotel where it located at the rooftop besides the Mai Bar overlooking the stunning city views. Not much people swim there especially during weekday so you can enjoy swimming so much or lay on the sun chair to take a sunbath❤️❤️
While for the room, it is perfect + spacious enough with the separate wet and dry toilet and I love their high quality amenities too! Highly recommend!!!!!👍🏻
Tips: If you are driving, there will be RM 10 nett charge per car per day for the hotel guests🤘🏻

Shanghai Travel Recommendations for 2023 (Updated in Sep)
Best view of The bund!@W Shanghai
#shanghaitrip
Very nice stay here, the staffs here are nice and friendly. Also give me some choice of dining. Recommend you to have a drink at WET where has awesome view of Shanghai. Then YEN is a cool Chinese restaurant that offers delicious Chinese cuisines. Breakfast here also with high quality, provides different choice to the guest. Overall, very nice hotel for your stay!
The Radisson Shanghai
Book a reservation in one of the finest restaurant overviewing the city! The Radisson has a revolving restaurant (forgot which floor) and a Skybar. Food was excellent! The mashed potatoes and Truffle pasta were my favorites! Service was also excellent and prices start at 78 rmb. The Skybar gave a relaxing vibe as there were only a few people when we got there. Will definitely come back for the mashed potatoes here!❤️❤️
Things You Didn't Know about Longhua Temple
The Longhua Temple in Shanghai is a magnificent cultural and historical site that should not be missed by visitors.
One of the main reasons why people should visit the Longhua Temple is its historical significance. Dating back over a thousand years, it is one of the oldest and most well-preserved Buddhist temples in Shanghai. The temple complex showcases stunning architecture, including the iconic Song Dynasty pagoda, which stands tall and majestic, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.
😉 Tips for the locals:
There is a hidden underwater space in the south square of Longhua Temple, where you can see the ancient beauty of Longhua Pagoda from different perspectives.
Through the winding staircase into the space underneath, the center of the ceiling is a layer of glass canopy, the sunlight can shine in, through the haze of the reflection of the water mirror, you can vaguely see the ancient pagoda, quiet and serene, but also with a sense of Zen.
You can also try Longhua Temple's Buddhist cuisine and coffee.
Staycation @The Sukhothai Shanghai
It's been rainy in Shanghai for a few days and I decided to take a staycation to escape the gloomy weather. I chose The Sukhothai Shanghai as my weekend getaway, and I must say, it was the perfect choice!
The hotel itself is absolutely a piece of art. 🪵 It is constructed of natural stone and wood, accented with distinctive accessories and artwork. Super chic!
One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's spa. The tranquil ambiance and soothing treatments were just what I needed to unwind and rejuvenate. I highly recommend the signature massage, which left me feeling relaxed and refreshed.
Sukhothai Shanghai dining options were also exceptional. The URBAN Cafe was a great spot for lunch, with its trendy decor and tasty menu.
Also, the hotel has an excellent location - it's in the Jing'an District, close to the West Nanjing Rd Station. You can get there by Line 2.
