Ambience really good, very calming and nice. The room is spacious and comfortable, making it easy to relax. Iron was provided and everything was well-prepared. Location is convenient too, walking distance to Mahkota Parade (just cross the road) and Dataran Pahlawan with a connecting bridge at Level 3. Parking per day after validate is RM5, but if have event can validate for RM3. *Dont have the pic of the room, but here’s is the holding room if you ever want to hold an event at Hatten Hotel.

A proper hotel with its own parking compund. The hotel is quite new, with sufficient facilities like swimming pool and gym area. The room is spacious and complete with the basic toiletries. The aircond was good and cleanliness of the whole room is average. The only small problem with my room was the shower area. There's some sort of blockage with the drain but overall the shower experience was good with steady strong current flow. Overall, this hotel is very well worth the price of slightly above RM100.

Everything is just steps away, whether you want to explore the night market, enjoy local food, or grab a casual drink in the evening. It’s incredibly convenient and perfect for a lively yet effortless stay. One of the best parts is that room service is available until 10:30 PM, so even if you don’t feel like heading out, you can still enjoy a delicious meal comfortably in your room. The breakfast spread is impressive and truly delicious. There is a wide variety of options, including Nyonya cuisine, Western dishes, porridge, Malay noodles, pasta, croissants, and fresh fruits—something for every taste. The hotel’s design reflects a beautiful Baba-Nyonya style, creating a charming and relaxing holiday atmosphere. There is also a small rooftop water play area where kids can splash around and have lots of fun, which adds a lovely family-friendly touch to the stay. Overall, the experience was exceptional—truly a perfect stay from start to finish!

The hotel looks grand and the room is very spacious and clean. The view is great as I can see the city and sea partially. The bed and pillows are comfortable that helped me to sleep well😴 The staff is very friendly and helpful. Upon check in, the staff will provide you with their specially made cookies which tasted delicious😁 The only problem is that walking to Jonker Street is not convenient and you need to drive or Grab there in a few minutes 😅

Another unpleasant experience during recent stay. Kinda upset that the hotel didn’t even bother to read my special request that I have indicated in my booking a week before the check in. Regularly staying here for my business trip, and this is not the first time they disappointed me. Reached hotel at 5pm after long business meeting, and been told my room is facing the pool side and at lower floor. I have clearly indicated higher floor and river view which I have been staying in the same floor / same room during each of my stay. But they’re totally not aware I have indicated such request for my booking and ended up I waited for almost 40min++ for them to get another river view room ready for me. Before they do so, they actually asked me to wait until 8pm if I want a river view room which I’m totally speechless. I’ve booked for premier room not standard room, and kinda shocked when I heard that remarks from the receptionist Location is definitely very strategic. I hope the next trip I won’t get disappointed again.

I returned to this hotel because they offer breakfast until noon. The convenient services and spacious rooms were also major drawcards. What I really love is the redwood boardwalk right next to the hotel. It leads to wetlands with beautiful river views, full of fish and even some intimidating monitor lizards that sometimes crawl out of the water – they can look like crocodiles if you're not paying attention! This place is close to the old town but without any of the noise, making it incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The hotel also has a ferry that can take you to the old town. If you want to avoid traffic jams there, the ferry is a great option. Alternatively, you can walk along the riverside path to the old town, passing by the Zheng He Museum where you can learn about his expeditions and achievements.

MITC Hotel Melaka offers a comfortable and pleasant stay. The room was clean and well-maintained, although slightly small. It is suitable for solo travellers or short stays. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is convenient, especially for those attending events at MITC. Overall, it’s a decent choice for business trips or solo travel in Melaka.

My stay at Courtyard by Marriott Melaka was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the experience felt seamless and well-curated. The hotel maintains an impressive standard of cleanliness — every corner reflects attention to detail and consistent upkeep, which immediately builds trust and comfort. The location is highly strategic, making it convenient to access key areas in Melaka while still offering a sense of calm and privacy away from the busy streets. What truly stood out was the level of service. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming — not just trained, but naturally hospitable. It’s the kind of service that elevates a stay from good to memorable. The amenities were well-maintained and thoughtfully provided, catering perfectly to both leisure and business travellers. Everything felt complete, nothing felt lacking. Overall, this hotel delivers a balanced experience of comfort, quality, and reliability. This hotel is located right in Malacca's Old Town, making it easy to walk to all the attractions. The parking lot is very spacious, which is great for those traveling by car. While the hotel's exterior and lobby are beautiful, the room itself was quite ordinary. The air conditioning was noisy, and the dim lighting made the room feel rather oppressive. The shower pressure was also very low. Throughout our entire trip, the hotel service in Malaysia was consistently indifferent, a stark contrast to the excellent service we experienced in Thailand.

There is a coach station at this hotel, convenient for travellers. Our room was available for early check-in at 12pm, allowed us to drop-off our bags and start exploring Malacca. The room size is decent for 2, relatively clean, the bed is comfortable. Some areas with minor torn wall paper, some stains on the edges of tiles in the bath room but not too much a concern considering the room rates compared to newer hotels.
