October 25, 2025 - Stayed 1 night 2-day, 1-night trip to Melaka Attended a friend's wedding. Stayed at Hatten Hotel, Room #1622. The hotel is located on Jln Merdeka, Banda Hilir, Melaka, close to many attractions and easily accessible, making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. If you're coming from Singapore, you can take the ”707” long-distance bus directly to the hotel. There are department stores next door and across the street from the hotel, and a 7-Eleven downstairs, so you can buy necessities anytime! It's very close to 'Jonker Street,' about 5 MYR by ride-sharing app, or you can walk. I chose to take a ride-share because it was very hot... The room was spacious and clean, which was acceptable! The hotel allowed me to check in early, and I got my room around 11:40 AM. The room is non-smoking 🚭! You can smoke outside downstairs at the hotel. So, overall, this place is still very good and convenient.

Swiss Garden Hotel Melaka is a wonderful place for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the city and river. The location is superb — close to popular attractions, shopping areas and great food spots. The staff are friendly, helpful and always ready to assist. The facilities, especially the pool and breakfast, are enjoyable and perfect for families. Overall, a pleasant and satisfying stay. Highly recommended!

The spacious family room offered stunning ocean views of encore building aside and the hotel facilities, including a large pool,hospitality , and safe and secure environment were the best part . their staff greeted me warmly and were happy to assist with any queries.

This hotel is genuinely good. You can see the Strait of Malacca, and in the evening, you can head up to the rooftop bar to enjoy the sunset – their pizza is quite nice. Just a heads-up, you'll need to use a different elevator entrance from another part of the building to get there. The hotel is conveniently located, within walking distance or a short taxi ride to Jonker Street. Malacca isn't a large city, so it's easy to explore. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, and you can simply stroll around. Massage services are quite affordable, ranging from 60-90 MYR per hour. You'll find many Chinese specialty restaurants nearby, and there are also two durian stalls in the vicinity.

I stayed in Oct 2025 and had the pleasure of staying at Rest Collection Melaka, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to guide us to our room and ensure we had everything we needed. Their friendly demeanor made us feel instantly welcome. The room itself meet with our expectations, spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. It provided the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city. What truly stood out was how much my kids loved the hotel. They enjoyed every moment, from the comfortable accommodations to the family-friendly atmosphere. Overall, our experience at Rest Collection Melaka was fantastic. If you're looking for a place that combines great service with a welcoming environment, this is the spot!

Convenient location, right where the bus from Singapore have a stop at. It's also where the Buses back to Singapore will pickup passengers. Also just a short walk to multiple malls, including a sheltered 10min walk all the way to A Famosa, and another 10min walk to the Jonker Street entrance. Also close to multiple great restaurants (Atlantic Nyonya, Ee Ji Ban) and massage places. Service was friendly and helpful, and though my checkin was delayed by 30min as the room wasn't ready, they allowed checkout till 1230pm so net-net I guess haha! Although I didn't have any meals at the restaurant, the staff was kind enough to provide utensils and a bowl when I requested one for my grabfood. Room-wise, it was sufficient and decent for its price. Bed was comfortable, Aircon was cool, and cleanliness passable. Only a few minor issues like some stains at the corner of the bedsheets, no shaver set, and the poor quality TV. I think the most bothersome was that the walls and door let in sounds so easily and we had the misfortune of having elderly Vietnamese tourists staying around us who talk so loudly and with a tendency to chat along the hallway. Otherwise, really recommend Estadia Hotel for anyone looking for an affordable and comfortable stay at Melaka!

Courtyard by Marriott is a spacious hotel with welcoming lobby, easy to maneuver parking spaces, and spacious hotel room. The hotel is new and clean. We especially like the beds which were firm and comfortable. There’s also a selection of pillows to choose from. We opted for the buckwheat pillow. The services were friendly and we were greeted and felt welcome throughout the stay. The location of the hotel is pretty convenient especially if you drive. It is located right next to the St Peter’s church. Parking for hotel guests are located on L5 and L6. For those driving electric vehicles, there are 2 EV chargers on Level 6 of the carpark. Please note that the lift lobby to the carpark is separate from the the lift to the hotel rooms. There’s also pool located on L8 had a good view of the city. We could even see Fort A Famosa. We didn’t try their gym but spotted some guests exercising whenever we went to the pool. There’s also an ATM at the side of the hotel. Overall, this is a great hotel to stay.

Been there for business travel. Pros: 1. Service staff was good, everyone was very helpful, from front desk to restaurant to gym. The biggest plus point for this hotel. 2. Breakfast consider delicious, just the options not much. 3. Sauna room was spacious. Cons: 1. Sauna opens 7am to 8pm, for business travel I don’t get the chance to use it properly. 2. Baby stores are not ready until further notice which even the staffs doesn’t know. 3. There are strong moldy smell in the room. For this I gave poor for cleanliness. Blinds for the bathroom are not working. If ever going back will be because of the staffs, the amenities won’t make me to go return.

Family room is spacious  Hotel is aged but considered well maintained except the room we stayed , the toilet had a very bad sewage smell , so bad that you won’t want to shower for too long , that’s the downside .
