We stayed for one day. The breakfast was modest, but you probably won't go hungry. A huge downside was that the sheets weren't changed. I pointed out the dirt and hair on the bedsheet, and the staff member just said, 'So what?' She then brought another dirty sheet. It took three attempts to get a clean one, which was horrible. The toilet and sink were dirty, and people clearly smoke in the room, so there was a strong odor. There was a safe in the room, but no hair conditioner, cotton buds, or tissues. Maybe we've been spoiled by other 4-star hotels, but there was absolutely nothing here... They also put us next to a room undergoing major renovations, so there was a loud banging noise starting at 8 AM. Luckily, we had an extra three hours and were already heading out. I definitely wouldn't come back here. On the plus side, it's about a 15-minute walk to the train station.
We stayed at this Riad for three nights and didn't regret it at all! It was beautiful and atmospheric, like stepping into a fairy tale, and it was so cool to be able to experience their history and culture.
The host, who greeted us and then helped us with all our questions, was very polite and welcoming.
The breakfasts were very generous and filling, and I especially appreciate their coffee (a true work of art).
There's also a swimming pool for free access😍
There was a small cafe next to the Riad; it was very inexpensive and incredibly delicious😌
We thought long and hard about booking this place, but we haven't regretted our decision at all💛
The room was bit small ( even though when we check in they said they upgrade our Room) so i Don't know What was the regular booking room size thn.. Maybe much smaller, shower door was not closing properly water was going out, toilet seat was not proper clean, whenever we Keep the ac on it’s coming bad smell so we Keep the ac off for our whole stay, all trowel in washroom was looking like using the for long time Look like old, for breakfast not much option & they should keep more hot food instead of may sweets / dessert item. Overall all reception & security was very friendly & Helpful, f&B morning Staff was very unfriendly .. No hi hello/ good morning.. No check back nothing .
Reception was very good at Moroccan House, they booked a reliable airport transfer for us who actually turned up on time at 3.45 am!
The air conditioner worked, unlike some other hotels close by.
It was nice having a fridge and a pool in the Summer heat.
The hotel looks like a Riad inside; much more character than it’s neighbouring hotels, also much cooler.
To top it all, Moroccan House was more affordable than the other hotels in the area.
Many thanks!
فندق جيد ونظيف و خدمة جيدة أنا أعجبني❤️

The hotel is very well located, I recommend it.
Отличное расположение; чистое и аккуратное место. Владелица отеля помогла нам со всеми вопросами, кроме прочего она говорит на английском.

Very Good
GGuest UserStayed here recently after booking through Trip.com, and overall it was a really relaxing and unique experience.
Location:
The villa is about 30 minutes from Marrakesh city centre, so it’s definitely more on the quiet, countryside side. That’s great if you’re looking to unwind away from the chaos of the Medina, but just keep in mind you’ll need a taxi or arranged transport to get around.
Ambience & Property:
The place feels like a peaceful retreat. The pool area is beautiful, well-maintained, and surrounded by greenery and palm trees. Plenty of loungers and shaded spots to relax, which makes it perfect for a chill day. The architecture has a rustic Moroccan charm with small villa-style rooms that add to the cozy vibe.
Rooms & Comfort:
Rooms are simple but comfortable. Not ultra-luxury, but clean and nicely designed to match the overall aesthetic of the property. It feels more like staying at a private villa than a typical hotel.
Service:
Staff were friendly and helpful, though service can feel a bit laid-back at times (which honestly matches the vibe of the place).
Food & Facilities:
The poolside setup is great for relaxing, though food options might be limited compared to larger hotels. Best to plan meals or head into the city for more variety.
Overall Experience:
If you’re looking for a calm, aesthetic getaway with a beautiful pool and peaceful surroundings, this is a solid choice. If you prefer being close to the action, this might feel a bit too remote.
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4/5)
Great for relaxing, but location may not suit everyone.
GGuest UserThis was the best hotel/Riad (7 in total) we stayed at during our trip. The location was perfect - in a busy and lively area of the old city, but not too difficult to find if your driver drops you off by the correct entrance.
We were greeted warmly by the manager and her team, who made sure that we had everything that was needed to make our stay special. The Riad is beautiful and cozy with seating in small little coves here and there. Our room was beautifully decorated - simple, but stylish and super clean.
We were always greeted with smiles that were genuine and not forced, and felt that the team here really enjoyed their jobs and took pride in showing the best that Marrakesh has to offer.
We had a spectacular breakfast on the roof terrace. It was more than the simple Moroccan breakfast and we really appreciated the efforts they made to keep everyone warm with blankets.
This Riad will now be placed on our “highly recommend and must return to” list.
Thank you for a wonderful stay and amazing hospitality.
JJettoSettoIncredible location and resort, with extremely helpful staff, unique scenery and high quality food and service. The wide array of animals are an absolute treat, with some rare examples. The food, meat and veg is farm fresh produced on site, with a wide variety of cuisines and flavours, every meal was delectable and a tasty filling. The resort is vast and continually expanding and it's a reprieve on all of the senses. The sights, sounds, smells and touch of the environment feels wholly authentic, and fits into the surrounding landscape. We look forward to staying here again in the future. The resort is still in its infancy, so the number of visitors hasn't peaked, which means it's nicely quiet and not inundated with many tourists. Therefore it's an amazing place for children to visit and, play in a safe location.
GGuest UserThe hotel manager and his team were exceptionally warm and welcoming. The food was of high quality, and both the service and reception were delivered to a very high standard.
Some challenges encountered, which appear to be beyond the hotel’s direct control, included the condition of the road leading to the hotel — rough and dusty — as well as the lengthy 45-minute journey from the airport. Additionally, there were WiFi connectivity issues during the first two days of our stay; however, these were eventually resolved.
Lastly, the intensity of the Marrakech heat was truly remarkable.
Overall, I would rate the hotel a respectable 7 out of 10.
GGuest UserIt's was one of the best place i ever stayed, beautiful hotel with nice pool and friendly atmosphere , good breakfast,.
I will definitely come back this state and highly recommend.
CCareen UykimThis charming hidden gem, nestled in the middle of Agafay Dessert is a treasure find. Marrakech architecture, luxurious, peaceful retreat away from the chaos of touristy Marrakech. The food, the place and oh the beautiful, wonderful people in this charming Riad. Impeccable service! Off the beaten path for sure, but sooo worth it! And well, you wont even notice, with the 24 hour transpo service
GGuest UserValue for money very bad and misleading advertising:
The location is great, the servers are super nice and helpful BUT:
1. totally chemical orange juice low end at breakfast
2. pool without overflow and especially dirty, without filtration. We had to clean it ourselves several times.
3. very incomplete meal card: there are many things missing.
Too bad!!!
BBarisCharming Hotel with architecture and amazing pool. The only problem of hotel is service and foods. They should improve that, otherwise the hotel is nice and suggested.
GGuest UserFantastic location and views. Very comfortable lodging. Just recommend packing snacks or other essentials as there are no options available other than the meals provided. That being said we had a great time and would definitely stay there again.
