I had a fantastic four‑night stay while in town for Marrakech half marathon. The service from the staff stood out — everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout my visit. It made the whole experience feel smooth. The hotel is conveniently close to several restaurants and bakeries, which made grabbing meals and snacks incredibly easy, especially on busy race days. Being able to walk everywhere was an added bonus. It was an excellent stay, and I will return next year for another marathon event.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The lobby had fresh flowers, and the scent was amazing. The pristine white linens, the room size, and the balcony furniture were all fantastic 🤩. The breakfast perfectly suited my taste. There's some construction happening, as they're adding more floors to the main building, but it didn't affect our stay at all since our room overlooked the smaller pool. All our requests were handled incredibly quickly. It's a shame I didn't get a chance to try the spa; we only stayed for three nights and wanted to explore the city more.

Very good hotel for its price. The room had everything, breakfast buffet, the hotel cafe was open during Ramadan. Overall I liked it, I would stay there again

Facilities: This is a great hotel, located right next to the Marrakech train station. I highly recommend staying here if you want to avoid getting ripped off by taxis. Ambiance: Nice, there's a large swimming pool in the middle. It seems all rooms have balconies, perfect for enjoying a local Casablanca beer. It was during the Africa Cup, and you could watch the car parades celebrating Morocco's wins 🍾

The hotel is old, the linoleum floors are patched and have holes in them. The room is very dimly lit (the lamps are dim). Overall, it's fine for just an overnight stay, but I wouldn't recommend it for a longer stay.

Everything was good, especially the bean omelette prepared by Mrs. Salwa.

Avoid 1st floor. The loud and deep base music at night penentrated all walls and windows. Avoid room no 18. The only window faced wire fence and back alley leading to the swimming pool, a public area. Any pool user could easily go to stand outside the windows. The advertised ”city view” is non existent And the worse is the room is next to those air-conditioning coolers. The hotel charged MAD40 tourist tax for one person, which doubled the amount Trip.com stated. The location is 9min from marrekesh station. Interior amenity is good 1/3 of the breakfast is pastry...

Breakfast was pretty poor quality. Premises not licensed which surprised me for a hotel that they didn't mention that in the blurb. Rooms absolutely lovely but beds like breeze blocks, so hard and steps in rooms and indeed the hotel really treacherous made worse by being washed with water all the time. Slipping danger everywhere.

PROS: Nice location, close to the railway station. Easy to get to historical sites. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around. Rather clean rooms. CONS: Way too noisy. No noise cancelling at all. You can perfectly hear your neighbours, reception, people walking down the street, cars beeping 24/7 etc. As if you were sleeping outside. Shower bath is quite small (around 0.75m x 0.75m), which was okay for me, but some would probably not fit in. High and hard pillows

I stayed at the Grand Mogador Menara & Spa on January 30–31, 2026, for a quick overnight escape in Marrakech. The hotel's elegant Moroccan decor and spacious, clean room immediately impressed me—comfortable bed, modern amenities, and a peaceful atmosphere after a day out.
