"the hotel was amazing for a 3star hotel, very good service from the reception, offered free drinks, free umami soup & allowed to keep our luggage until evening the next day (5/5) room was good for the price ($72 sgd), but the interior might look a little old, & slightly dirty but was reasonable location was ok, close to the shopping street but a little far from the station/subway for heavy luggages (4/5) miku & I enjoyed the stay! ありがとうございます！"

"This is a fantastic onsen hotel in the Kotohira area. It's quite large, with rooms featuring private baths, as well as separate large public baths for men and women. They also have four private reserved onsen baths, and I managed to try all of them whenever I had a chance. In the mornings, they offer free Yakult, and in the afternoons, free popsicles. The food was relatively standard, but the room was very clean and spacious. It's also conveniently located for walking to Konpira-san Shrine."

"Hotels in Shikoku, Japan, were cutting back on electricity due to the Fukushima disaster and had no air conditioning. When I arrived at this hotel, I asked the front desk if they offered any services like skinning and peeling. The novel *Red Sorghum* mentions this in the Gaomi County Gazetteer during the Anti-Japanese War. If it's cold, you can add layers, but what about the heat? The room was over 30 degrees Celsius! A burly waiter privately complained to me. We ended up borrowing an electric fan to solve the problem. Humorously, to combat the heat, the owner solemnly announced: everyone can get a free popsicle at the front desk every day. The hotel rooms weren't large, but their only advantage was that they had windows, and they were so close to the station that you could practically touch the hotel building's wall as soon as you exited. There was also free breakfast and a 1760 yen buffet, which was excellent value. Borrowing bicycles was also a great experience. A few hundred meters north of Utatsu North Exit, there's an AEON, a secondhand shop selling various daily necessities, and a seafood shop to the east… all very interesting and charming experiences. Of course, here, you need a firm ”revolutionary will” to crush the poison of the decadent capitalist lifestyle. Along the Seto Inland Sea coast, both Shikoku and Chugoku offer stunning views reminiscent of the Thousand Islands, especially the pure blue sea and sky merging seamlessly, a breathtaking sight in autumn. If Monet had been born in the Seto Inland Sea, he wouldn't have left behind ”Water Lilies,” but rather the magnificent and gentle blue sea for Impressionism! However, the UV radiation is extremely strong, so women need a three-pronged approach: sunscreen, sun-protective clothing, and a sun umbrella! With prices soaring in Japan recently, I'm posting a few photos for comparison. It's easy to look good in clothes, but looking good in person is difficult—perhaps this is just gilding the lily."

"I love the location near the jetties, makes it so convenient to book tickets for my island hopping plans. There’s plenty of good eateries and 7-11 downstairs. Big bonus is the onsen bath and laundry facility on the 9th floor. Hotel even gives you a bottle of water incentive and they still give you fresh towels, which they hang on your room door when you don’t wish to have room make-up service. Another plus point is the airport limousine pick is within sister property - JR Clement Hotel Highly recommend this hotel!"

"We stayed in a type A room, overall stay satisfied 👍 Free service provided by the hotel → Shuttle bus, drinks, massage chairs, rooftop stargazing, The attitude of the waiters and drivers is very commendable 👍 The room's duvet and environment are very comfortable 👍 Rich breakfast and dinner 👍 Only at the end of the dinner, the white rice served, although delicious, but no dishes to match, make the overall pale. It would be perfect if it could be served with some wild vegetables at the same time. You can also add two more pieces of fruit. "Hotel location is good where closed to the Takamatsu Port (9 min / 2.3km). If you are doing road trip, this hotel has the self owned car park, though the cost is a bit high - 1,500 Yen per night. During my visit, the Central Park was under construction, however, the view is still fine. Hot spring as the same across the brand Dormny Inn, very clean, spring water, well management."

"This place is very well-run with its dormitories. There is space to store items like clothes in the shower room, and the lounge on the first floor is comfortable. There is also free tea and a coffee capsule machine. There were a lot of comic books."

"I booked an accessible room, and it was genuinely spacious. It's really comfortable to stay in a 35 sqm room in Japan. There was a slight odor when I first entered the room, but it cleared up after I turned on the air purifier. Downside: The soundproofing isn't great. Upside: Everything else is a plus. The location is excellent. There's an airport shuttle right downstairs, which costs 1000 yen and goes directly to the airport. There are frequent services, almost hourly. Location: Whether you're going to the airport, Takamatsu Port for island hopping, or the JR station, everything is within walking distance. It's a 12-minute walk to Takamatsu Port, which was perfect for our island-hopping itinerary. Mitsukoshi department store is just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, and it has an LV store with plenty of stock. There are also many choices for drugstores, restaurants, and cafes. The room was cleaned daily. One time, I forgot to hang the 'please clean' sign and thought it wouldn't be done, but when I returned to the room, it felt completely refreshed, which was a lovely surprise. I forgot to take photos of the room, so I've included a picture of the beautiful blue sea and sky instead."

"Shuttle Service: When booking accommodations, there were only two ways to arrange a shuttle, and for some reason, my email only linked to a very old address I rarely use. My messages went unanswered. I also tried calling from other cities in Japan, but an automated Japanese voice service picked up. Thankfully, at JR Kotohira Station, there was an Information counter. A young, helpful service attendant who spoke simple English immediately called the hotel for me when she heard where I was staying. The car arrived in about 5 minutes. The shuttle driver, a slightly chubby young man with glasses, spoke excellent English. He was quite chatty and humorous, making the ride enjoyable. He also recommended a famous local udon restaurant and advised that climbing to the top of Konpira-san Shrine would take at least 2.5 hours (definitely allow more time if you want to look around carefully and take photos). Luggage Storage: We arrived at the hotel at 11 AM, dropped off our luggage, and headed straight for a meal before ascending Konpira-san. Upon returning to the hotel, our luggage had already been delivered directly to our room. Room: We booked a bit late, but for this price, in other major Japanese cities, you'd only get a quarter of the space. My friend commented that she could finally spread out her suitcase and organize her belongings. There was also a dressing room/vanity, though the lighting was a bit dim. In the evenings, we enjoyed tea on the balcony, which was a very pleasant spot to relax and enjoy the view. Our room offered a direct view of the hotel garden and pond, a wonderful experience. Restaurant: When booking, I chose the hotel's ”Sanuki Santoku” (Three Treasures of Sanuki) dining plan. The waiter escorted us to a table with a great view and explained each dish. The food was delicious, and I was absolutely stuffed (I have a small appetite). Most of the service staff appeared to be of Indian descent. Other Features: 1) I really loved the public lounge. In the evenings, the spacious design and soft lighting created a wonderful ambiance. It was very atmospheric to sit and slowly savor coffee/champagne (complimentary). 2) Our accommodation included one complimentary 45-minute private onsen session on the same floor as the lounge. It had a sofa and drinks, but only one shower stall, so if there were multiple people, we'd have to take turns. For me, the time was too short, and the water temperature wasn't as high as in the public bath. 3) The public bath had two pools. A smaller one outdoors, where the water was quite hot, and a sauna room, which was also very hot! I personally preferred the public bath."
