This hotel is right next to Narita Airport and offers a free shuttle service, taking only 10 minutes to Terminal 2. I had an early flight, so I left the hotel at 6:30 AM, going via T3 before arriving at T2. Getting off was very quick. Security opened at 7 AM, and I cleared customs smoothly by around 7:10 AM, making my 8:20 AM flight feel very relaxed. There's a convenience store downstairs, and a large supermarket just a few hundred meters away with reasonable prices. Overall, it's comfortable and convenient, especially perfect for guests catching early morning flights.

I had a layover in Tokyo and chose this hotel because it's very close to Narita Airport. I stayed here last year and had a good experience, so I came back again this year. This time, I opted for a room in the main building. I think the room must have been recently renovated as the facilities were brand new, but there was a faint smell of new paint, and the window couldn't be opened, which somewhat affected my sleep. The hotel service overall was excellent, and the breakfast was decent, though I'd say it's just average for a Nikko hotel. The Japanese restaurant on the top floor was quite good, and Nikko hotel members get a 10% discount. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to the JR station and Narita Mall. If you have some time, you can explore the attractions around Narita; it's quite nice.

It is given a free service shuttle bus from Narita train station to Hotel , AEON Mall and airport. Good service and on time . I Like the Onsen in the Hotel, need paid. . But the hotel is a bit Old. The hotel staff is an Indian girl ( in the photo) her service is very good and very patient , luckily she knows English 👏 The hotel does not provide drinking water.

A hidden gem in the city that's a healing haven – I could stay at this hotel countless times! I stumbled upon this treasure during a business trip, and it's immediately made it onto my 'Priority Business Trip Hotels' list. I just have to rave about it! As soon as I got out of the car, a server proactively helped with my luggage. The moment I walked through the lobby doors, I was impressed – the aroma was a subtle citrus, not overwhelming or pungent, and the background music was a gentle jazz. Even the few minutes I waited to check in felt relaxing; none of that crowded, chaotic feeling you get at other hotels. My room was an even bigger surprise! The floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked the city's central park. In the evening, I watched the sunset paint the clouds a honey color, and at night, the warm, soft lighting was never harsh. The bedding was just the right balance of soft and firm; lying on it felt like sinking into a cloud. As someone who usually struggles to sleep in new places, I fell asleep instantly last night, and a good chunk of my travel fatigue just melted away. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the toiletries had a light, woody scent. The shower pressure was strong, and hot water came out super fast, leaving me completely relaxed after a wash. The breakfast selection also exceeded expectations – freshly cooked wontons with generous fillings, aromatic freshly ground coffee, and even the fruit was neatly cut and fresh, not like those wilted fruits that have been sitting out all day. The detail that touched me the most was when the front desk, knowing it was my birthday (I mentioned it when filling out my check-in info), sent up a small box of handmade cake and a handwritten card that evening. The handwriting was a bit crooked, but it was incredibly heartwarming. This kind of understated thoughtfulness is a hundred times more pleasant than any flashy marketing. The value for money is truly excellent, making it perfect for both business trips and a weekend city 'micro-vacation.' I've already recommended it to colleagues who frequently travel for business. Next time I'm in this city, I'm definitely staying here again! #HotelReview #BusinessTravelAccommodation #CityMicroVacation

The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was a compact, modular unit, which was small but very convenient to use. The bedding was changed promptly and thoroughly disinfected. Breakfast was served at the ramen shop next door on the first floor, with four set menus to choose from, offering excellent value for money. The downside is that rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy at night due to passing vehicles; light sleepers might want to request a room on the other side. It's about a 10-minute walk from Chiba Funabashi Station, and there are many dining and shopping options around Funabashi Station.

Already our second stay at JR East Hotel Mets Premier Makuhari Toyosuna in just a few months, and once again, we picked it for its unbeatable location. It’s literally just steps away from Makuhari Toyosuna JR Station, with a fully covered walkway leading straight to the entrance, so even in heavy rain or snow, you’ll stay completely dry. This time, our room was at the far end of the floor, and the layout felt even more efficient—no wasted space, everything thoughtfully designed. The room was clean and spacious, with a massage chair and a Dyson hair dryer. The bed was very comfortable too. Breakfast didn’t have a huge variety, but every dish was nicely made, and the seasonal items even came with clear explanations in both Japanese and English. What really stands out is how generous the hotel is with amenities. Guests can freely pick up skincare products, face masks, bath salts, and other self-care items from the lobby, plus there’s a complimentary coffee machine for a quick caffeine fix anytime.Another big plus is the convenience store right inside the hotel, perfect for grabbing a snack or drink. With Aeon Mall, Muji, Uniqlo, Costco, etc. all nearby, it’s truly the perfect location for shopping and picking up souvenirs. We shall definitely return very soon in our next trip.

Definitely upgraded from the previous Mitsui Garden Hotel it used to be, elevators and bathrooms need a face lift. Outside of that suggestion, great comfort for beds and clean. Staff is friendly and efficient. Grocery store is close by and a few awesome izakaya’s. I will definitely stay here again.

It was a stress-free experience having booked at Narita Gateway Hotel. Its free shuttle bus ride going to Narita Station, Aeon Mall is commendable. It enabled us to save money on taxi fare and the saved money for transport was used to buy some souvenirs. Our stay at said hotel was made more pleasant by two staff at the hotel reception, one guy named Pun Sharti (to me, he was very approachable and attends to hotel guests with warmth and smile, too bad, we didn't see him when we checked out) and a female staff who likewise has a pleasant countenance but whose name we weren't able to get. Booking costs are cheaper than the others.

Cleanliness is impeccable. Great for a night/layover Twice i used this hotel if I'm doing any domestic flights in between Japan. As it's has free airport shuttle for hotel guests. It does have scheduled timing to AEON shopping mall of your flight arrives in the morning it's good to catch the bus. Else just make do with the convenience store at the hotel lobby. (Got my sandwich/sushi/drinks from the store, closes at 2am of not mistaken) Huge hotel, large capacity but a very well maintained one through years. Amazing, if you ever fly into Narita airport i highly recommend to try & immerse yourself into this old classic building. Worth the value for a night or two for a gd comfy rest. ** I bought the japan 🍈 from Kamata Tokyo and had carried it all the way via train into Narita..I wish to eat it before i leave for my flight following afternoon.. had asked reception staff to borrow a table knife so i could cut the melon unfortunately for safety reason they doesn't permit of such, hence i cut it into half with a wooden chopsticks and scoop the flesh off 🥄** Ooshiiii 😋 Happy a precious, pretty looking melon didn't go to waste :D

Narita Tobu Hotel Airport: The Perfect Gateway to Japan (5/5 Stars)The Narita Tobu Hotel Airport is, without a doubt, the ideal choice for travelers flying in or out of Narita International Airport (NRT). This hotel consistently delivers on convenience, comfort, and service, turning what could be a stressful airport stay into a relaxing start or finish to any trip.Unbeatable Location and Seamless TransportationThe main highlight of this hotel is its exceptional proximity to NRT. The complimentary airport shuttle service is a lifesaver—it runs frequently, is reliable, and makes the 5 to 10-minute journey to the terminals utterly seamless. For anyone with an early morning flight, this convenience is priceless.Beyond the airport, the shuttle also provides easy access to Aeon Mall, which is a huge plus for last-minute shopping or enjoying a meal outside the hotel. The location truly offers the best balance of airport access and local exploration.Spacious, Spotless, and Comfortable RoomsThe rooms at the Narita Tobu are surprisingly spacious for a Japanese airport hotel, offering ample space to spread out and manage large luggage (a detail that many past guests, including myself, greatly appreciate!).I stayed in a [Specify your room type, e.g., Deluxe Twin in the West Wing] and found it to be [Customize with your experience: e.g., sparkling clean, incredibly quiet, renovated]. The soundproofing was excellent, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep despite the hotel's location near the runway. The bed and pillows were [Customize: e.g., plush and cozy, perfectly firm], making for a much-needed deep sleep after a long flight.Exceptional Amenities and ServiceThe hotel goes above and beyond with its on-site facilities, elevating it from a simple stopover to a destination in itself:Dining: I highly recommend the breakfast buffet at OASIS Restaurant (or mention another dining experience like CASUAL RESORT DINING SERENA). The selection of both Japanese and international dishes was [Customize: e.g., vast and delicious, a great value for the price].Convenience: The presence of a drugstore and convenience store/gift shop right in the lobby is genius. It’s perfect for picking up snacks, drinks, or any forgotten essentials before heading to the airport.Recreation: For those with time to spare, the indoor pool, sauna, and fitness center are fantastic amenities, allowing guests to relax and recharge.Final VerdictFrom the warm welcome at the 24-hour front desk to the efficient check-out, the staff were consistently polite, professional, and helpful. They truly embody the excellent standard of Japanese hospitality. If you are looking for an affordable, comfortable, and highly efficient airport hotel near Narita, the Narita Tobu Hotel Airport is the best in its class. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel during the last day of our road trip Due to our rent car already return, this hotel provide free of charge shuttle bus to the airport (very on time) Around the hotel you got 30 min walk distance to Narita plane take off sight seeing small outlet and about 50 min walk to Aeon Narita shopping mall The hotel got all facilities you need, sauna, fitness, meeting room, family mart 24 hours, and good price of buffet for BF, L, DN We booked room for 4 which is considered large, still got enough space to open our 4 big luggage Bathroom got all needed amities you could ask for up to cleansing oil, toner and facial cream Only one curious thing was ”no bell staff” i think the hotel got limited manpower So you have to manage your luggage to your room All others are great, highly recommend if you need to stay near Narita air port

One of the most peaceful place I’ve been and there’s a seven eleven shop inside the hotel. They gave me a good room that I can look at Japan. I love the free sauna and transportation they provide. I have a free taxi ride also when they don’t have car going to hotel. Everything in my room is clean and the amenities were refill everyday. I will definitely go back to this hotel.

23 January 2026 I chose to stay here due to the cost, shuttle buses, and restaurants on site. I stayed from 5th January to 19th January 2026. The pickup from the airport was easy. I arrived early and had to wait to check-in at 1500 hours (3:00 p.m.). They accepted my luggage and I got the free bus to Narita Square. Walked around getting the lay out of the area. Free shuttle back to Hotel. Arrived and allowed to check in. They clean the room every other day and provide fresh towels every other day. The wi-fi was strong in all areas. Multi routers & log-in for the areas. The signature restaurant was closed. They have another with limited meals. The breakfast buffet was Japanese with very limited western items. Sausage (hotdogs flavor) French fries (large steak fry cut) poorly seasoned, toast & rolls, coffee & juice. About the 6th or 7th day boiled eggs were available. I tried many of the Japanese dishes and some were favorable and others not. I ate raw tuna daily and it still needs salt, pepper, flour & hot grease. The laundry facilities were clean and worked well. I did note a few areas of concern the smoked area over the lights and HVAC grates/grills needed cleaning. They have a convenience store on premises. I used the airport shuttle to airport to take train to Tokyo.

We stayed 2 nights in the Grand Nikko's Rainbow Deluxe Family Room and loved it there! Staff are efficient and warm. Room was wonderfully spacious and had a balcony overlooking the bay giving us beautiful sunrise and sunsets. The beds were comfortable and the amenities in the bathroom covered everything you need including organic skincare! They even had a stepstool for younger children. The lounge sets provided were cosy amd comfortable too. These little thoughtful touches really puts them above other hotels. Breakfast was a grand affair with enough choices for everyone, including a separate section for the young ones to help themselves.
