This hotel was beautiful. I came for my graduation and this was the perfect spot for us. The receptionists were so nice and welcoming. Each room had a view into the stadium which was amazing for my parents who hadn’t seen this before! I would definitely recommend!

We chose this hotel, about a 30-minute drive from home, for a one-night stay so the kids could go swimming. They were so excited before we even left. After checking in, we rushed to the pool, only to be told that children weren't allowed after 6 PM and could only use it after 9 AM the next morning. However, check-out was at 11 AM, which left very little time. So, I contacted Trip.com customer service to request a late check-out. During the first call, the hotel said they would charge £10 per hour for late check-out. We expressed our dissatisfaction, and thanks to Trip.com's proactive coordination, the hotel finally agreed to a free two-hour late check-out for both rooms. The kids had a fantastic time the next morning, which was a huge plus. The hotel is newly renovated, and the overall facilities are quite good for a UK hotel. Dinner was also decent, though the steak was a bit disappointing. Luckily, the waitstaff were very friendly and didn't charge us for it. IHG's service philosophy was generally well-reflected. However, the hotel seemed a bit understaffed. There were only two people at the front desk, so checking in required a bit of a wait. After check-in, no one showed us to our rooms, and the layout was a bit confusing, making it easy to get lost. I hope the hotel can improve in this area in the future. Also, it would be even more appealing if they could add some family-friendly room types.

Very clean, modern, practical! Have a sofa for work and to watch TV together! The lounge has space for you to plug your laptop and work. These are all I needed. 10 mins walk from the city center. I will come back again for the value for money and friendly staff.

I usually book this hotel like every 2-3 months whenever I come to coventry but this time it felt like a bit awkward due to staff behaviour. I just wanna clear ‘The lady’ who checked me in was really nice, sweet and professional with what she’s doing, however the morning staff wasn’t very polite as I had already paid for a late checkout because I wasn’t well that night and couldn’t rest properly, yet the staff still called me without first double-checking with their team which shows there’s no communication. I was unwell and asleep when they called, and instead of apologising for the mistake, the lady hung up abruptly.  On top of that, the housekeeping staff opened my room door without knocking first and again there’s no apology. They opened the door and only then said “hello,” which was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional.  Overall, the lack of communication, manners, and respect for guest privacy really affected our experience and I’m I won’t come back here again.

Booked here through trip.com for twin room. Arrived at hotel who said been booked as king room. Were very helpful and changed room and put single bed in with double as no twins left. Receptionist stated frequently have this issue with agents booking hotel. Issue resolved easily. Staff friendly and helpful. Room clean, beds comfy. Great location for NEC, BP PULSE LIVE AND AIRPORT.

Myself and sis visited our absolute favourite place for a little one night catch up ( we always come here whenever I’m home to visit) Lovely lovely staff ( Hi to Josh, Charlotte, Rachel and the fab teamx) They always warmly welcome us, and we enjoy smashing facilities, great food and drinks and always leave feeling refreshed and relaxed. Hyatt Rengency Hotel Birmingham is a very nice and cozy hotel with great facilities. It offers halal food, and prayer mats are available upon request, which I really appreciated. The leisure facilities are lovely, with a heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and spa. However, my stay was let down by the fact that the room did not have a smart TV as mentioned on the website, which caused a lot of wasted time considering that I planned to stay in most of the times. The hotel eventually upgraded us (to a similar room just a few floors higher) after several contact made to reception and a long wait, but I’m grateful to Kenza for her assistance. On checkout, Nandini was very kind and offered support for my next visit as a gesture for the inconvenience. There's also an issue with parking, which operates on a first come first serve basis. So if you park your car on day 1 and say you're staying for 3 days, you have to pay for the parking for 3 days ahead which is £27 for 24hr. During these days if you happen to take your car out and come back with no free parking space, you lose your money. Your slot is not reserved. It would be better if they charge us for parking when we are leaving the car park rather than making us pay in advance. Overall, a comfortable hotel with excellent amenities, but clearer information on room facilities would have made the stay much smoother. I would have come better prepared.

The location is good as there is 3 big shopping store like Tesco and Home bargain very close to the hotel. There is a big car park outside and you can drive to city center around 15mins

The hotel is very beautiful, big and the service is very good; check in is very convenient, you can take the  room card immediately when you arrive at the reception; the room is large, clean and comfortable; It is worth praise that the hotel provides free parking, which is really good 🤗🤗 I like the hotel lobby and garden the most. It’s so beautiful. Remember to take more pictures and leave good memories. 🤗🤗

Best swimming pool in Conventry, extra £5 per day per visitor, so I didn’t join. Self-check in, no service. Pub and Starbucks downstairs, Friday 4pm onwards free car park until Sunday. Weekday parking fee applies.
