Newly renovated hotel, overall a good impression. The rooms are spacious and bright. The only minor drawback is the shower: it only has a very small handheld showerhead which is installed very low. This makes for a poor experience as you have to hold it up throughout your entire shower. đ
The environment is great, and the overall service is good too. What I really appreciate is how quiet it is, and it's only a 3-minute drive to the airport.
Big spacious room. Clean and nice. Very artistic hotel as many paintings by creative Artists. Near park. I saw a rabbit in the park. About 700m from the Metro station, 7 minutes walk. Cherry Blossom around the park, simply beautiful! Yummy delicious breakfast. With a nice lounge for a drink too! Black & White Classic style hotel. Keep it up! Excellent! I like it! đ
the hotel is walking distance to the train station for Milan Central station and connected to the terminal 1 via free airport shuttle bus (big plus considering that most of the other hotels nearby will charge and a lot just for the shuttle service from and to the terminals despite the short distance). I find it an excellent alternative to the Shetaton - even if I fly from terminal 1 and Moxy is located at terminal 2 - as it is much more reasonably priced yet very clean and nicely decorated, with helpful staff and smooth operations. The only downside for me is that the power plugs are recessed so you need to make sure that your adapter is slim enough so to reach the plug and be able to work. I know that this kind of plugs is used for safety issues but still not being able to use your device because of this can be annoying (staff tried to help but unfortunately they didnât have spare adapters available at that time). I will definitely stay again in future, just remember to bring the correct adapter with me (in the room there is usb plug anyway if you need it).
Pros: The front desk staff had a great attitude, and the hotel is very close to the airport. It's much quieter than being right at the airport, and the paid shuttle service to and from the airport was very convenient. They even allowed us to check in early.
Cons: Our room was on the third floor and only had a small, round window. **Fellow travelers, please pay special attention:** Someone tried to open our door at night (we had taken precautions beforehand). At different times, we only heard the doorknob turn once each time. At first, I thought I was mistaken or hearing things, but after the third time, which was after midnight, I called the front desk to report the issue and asked them to increase security.
When I checked out, I asked about it again. The front desk said they had gone upstairs to check after my call but found no one. They suggested it might have been someone from the next room who made a mistake.
The driver, however, had a bad attitude. When he dropped us off at the airport in the morning and we were getting our luggage out, he was very gruff đ. It really ruined the start of our day.
The hostel is located 8 minutes walk from Milano Bovisa Politecnico train station. Direct train to and from Malpensa Airport T2 just takes 30 minutes. As far as getting around the city of Milano, there is a Tram-Bus stop (Bausan) just under 5 minutes walk from hostel (after the round about).
The 4 bedded sharing room comes with en-suite bathroom with timed hot showers. Bath towel available for rent at 2âŹ. Hostel-wide WiFi access available. The in-house bar-bistro offers good selection of Italian and international fairs. For weary travellers the in-house dinning option is most appreciated.
During the day, the common area has a more co-working vibe. As the sun sets, the ambiance transitions to a buzzing vibrant bar-bistro.
If you plan to take the airport shuttle to the hotel, make sure to contact them in advance to confirm the schedule. Otherwise, you'll be waiting indefinitely at Gate 5 of T1. Also, be aware that the pick-up fees for T1 and T2 are different!
I previously read many reviews complaining about the hotel's front desk staff being incredibly rude, but we didn't experience that this time, which was a relief. At check-out, a lovely front desk employee (short in stature, wearing a tape measure-style bracelet) even helped me print two tax refund forms for free.
The room's hardware and decor are quite new, but there isn't a traditional door lock. The hotel explained that once the door is closed, it cannot be opened from the outside.
The breakfast was pretty good, high quality, but it's typical Western fare.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's right across the street from the main train station, and having a subway entrance downstairs made getting around incredibly convenient. There are also tons of dining options nearby. I stayed for three nights, and the convenience of getting around was a huge plus. I booked a balcony room, and the view was great, plus the room was spotless. The service was also very good. My only real complaint is that the in-room facilities and amenities were quite inconvenient. I could overlook not having a kettle or coffee maker (though room service could bring a kettle if needed), but there weren't even any regular drinking glasses â only two small mouthwash cups on the sink. For a triple room, there was only one stool... Overall, it's a great spot with good hygiene and a nice view; just don't expect much else from the amenities.
The hotel offers free parking, which is great if you're driving. It's about a 30-40 minute drive on the highway to the city center, which is quite convenient. The Chinatown in the city center is really vibrant and colorful; it felt like being back in China.
The hotel itself is simple and comfortable. Breakfast is also very basic with limited choices.
The cleanliness was good, but the smell of disinfectant was very strong.
There's a free shuttle to the airport, but you have to walk about 10 minutes to the main road to catch it. The hotel's own shuttle service requires a reservation in advance and costs 15 euros per room.

GGuest UserItâs a nice enough upper budget hotel but donât stay in the winter - the heaters are turned on so high and you will need to open the windows but the sound from the street will keep you awake. The beds are very hard. The staff is strict about keeping the key when you leave and donât seem to smile much. I would recommend closer to the city centre near the duomo or on the other side of Milan where itâs less noisey.
Also there are some photos of the recently renovated rooms butt the room I had was not one of them. It can be a little misleading.
GGuest UserGreat location, right opposite the central station, making it super convenient to get around. There are Chinese-speaking staff, so communication was a breeze. The cleanliness and facilities are good, nothing to complain about. Plus, there's free coffee! đ It can be a bit noisy, though, as it's right by the main road near the station.
GGuest UserI stayed for 4 nights. The hotel seems to be newly built, very modern not like those traditional hotels in Europe. It provides 2 bottles of water, 2 small shower gel and shampoos, and disposable slippers which seem not very common in europe given the environment consideration.
Heating is good. There is a radiator in the toilet, making it warm and nice in the cold Feb.
The shower holder is loosen, so the water splashed and a bit hard to control.
Location is not bad, 15 minutes by walk from Milano Centrale, 10 minutes by walk from the subway Sondrio. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel, making it convenient to transfer.
The room is relatively good space for big suitcase. There is a safe in the room. The dining area is nice, though I didnât take meals there.
The receptionists are very friendly and welcoming, apart from one guy on a night shift who was rude and ruined my good impression of the hotel.
Overall, a nice place to stay for me who came to Milan for the first time and was not very familiar with the local as someone from China.
GGuest UserEverything was excellent. The hotel's services and amenities far exceeded our expectations. The minibar was free and all drinks were restocked daily. From the front desk to the waiters, everyone was very friendly and attentive. The âwelcome chocolatesâ at the front desk were delicious, and the breakfast entrees were excellent, though the variety was a bit limited. This was the best experience my husband and I had at a five-star hotel in Italy, and we will choose this hotel again in the future.
GGuest UserThe location is good, it is near Naviglio Grande where is beautiful and many restaurants around. The staff are nice, they are very helpful to call taxi and even contact the hospital when my son was sick in one night. The cleaning staff is responsible and tidy the room good.
GGuest UserI stayed in this hostel in a separate tall cabin. The cabin was wide and spacious, effectively replacing an entire room. It also had a shower, and everything was generally convenient. The hostel features a kitchen with a fridge where you can cook your own dinner and store your food.
AAnonymous UserThis is a very cozy hostel, tucked away in an alley, but it feels quite safe. There's a tram right outside, so you might hear some noise, but getting an Uber is super convenient. Most main attractions are just a 10-20 minute walk away.
The staff can be a bit careless. Even though they're friendly, having a man enter a female dorm room was a bit unsettling.
There's a kitchen available for cooking, and it's well-stocked with seasonings. However, the breakfast options are quite limited.
GGuest UserAndrea, the PR manager, is definitely the best I met in Milan, Bologna and  Parma. He is extremely helpful with excellent hospitality. Thanks to him for avoiding the traffic congestion due to a concert at Duomo and arrange for us a direct transportation to airport at a reasonable price.  Andrea is definitely a good reason for us to come back to Milano more often and stay in this hotel.
GGuest UserRoom larger than average (it was a superior) very comfortable bed with double pillow and large and bright bathroom. Excellent cleanliness of the room and common areas. A bit small and sacrificed the breakfast room in a 4 star and for the price paid the lack of a restaurant inside remains an unknown. Bad also the parking for guests it was clear that with a full hotel it could not contain all the cars in relation to the number of rooms. Very bad to discover only at check out that it was paid.
