The room facilities were excellent. I requested a quiet room, and they immediately accommodated me. Luggage storage was quick, and the snacks included in the package were quite good. There's a small convenience store downstairs where you can grab some treats. Breakfast was also great; even when we went in just ten minutes before closing, the staff still let us in and reminded us to get everything we wanted to eat. My family said the bedding was comfortable, and the bathroom was very spacious. Although it's at the airport, the noise wasn't too bad. Overall, it was a good experience. I've already booked two more nights for my return trip, and I'm really looking forward to it!
This was by far the best guesthouse I stayed at during my trip to Western Sichuan. The location and views are unbeatable, and the service exceeded all expectations. It's located right inside the Changping Valley Scenic Area, offering the closest scenic view of Siguniang Mountain (Mount Siguniang/Four Girls Mountain) from the lobby – definitely the right choice! The staff, both men and women, were incredibly warm and welcoming, providing truly 5-star service and thoughtfully attending to guests' needs. Big kudos to them! There were even ******* song and dance performances in the evening, adding more fun to our journey. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar, so dinner can be easily sorted there, making it perfect for an overnight stay before heading out early to explore the Siguniangshan scenic area.

The hotel is very luxurious and has good attention to detail. Although the room we were in had an amazing view and luxurious feel, some dirt and stains and a few cracks in the furniture takes away the full 5 star wow factor, although it is a great room. Also the hairdryer is very very old and overheats within minutes, you need to pull it out, wait, then try again. Also the AC is not stable, at times we needed to turn it down as low as 10 to actually feel cool as the room is very hot and humid. The staff in general were very warm and accommodating and provided extra water for the room when we called them. However as we wanted to have a little rest in the morning we called to ask if the cleaner could come asap to only change trash and stock up the toilet roll etc, we were informed that there was only one cleaning lady and would need to wait. I find this quite questionable for a hotel that big. The breakfast buffet is good with lots of choice. Pastries, cakes, local specialties, western dishes a plenty. However the coffee machine is weak and only provides espresso and americano, the hotel should upgrade the machine to accommodate those with tastes like lattes and cappuccinos as this is the norm in even 4 star hotels. The robot butler is a great touch. The location is actually very very good. Shopping malls and restaurants are very very close. Overall I would stay here again but the price needs to match the interior.

This hotel is in an excellent location, right in the city center. We had a few minor hiccups, but thankfully everything was resolved! A huge thank you to the lovely lady at the front desk! Breakfast is on the 30th floor, a buffet featuring both Chinese and Western options. There's also a late-night snack event from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM, offering some famous Chengdu local specialties! The value for money is outstanding, and the service is incredibly attentive. Plus, there's free Haagen-Dazs ice cream! I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I visit this city in the future.

Pros: The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly facing Mount Emei, and in the evening, we could seemingly hear the temple bells from Baoguo Temple. We chose to stay at Le Méridien after our hike, looking forward to some relaxation. The hotel is indeed quite large with beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was plentiful, featuring freshly prepared dishes, a welcome change from pre-made options. We stayed in a deluxe lake view room, offering both mountain and lake views, which was truly lovely. The soundproofing in the room was decent, and the bedding was comfortable.
Cons: 1. Initially, our two booked rooms were not in the same building. After inquiring at the front desk, they found a twin room in Building 2, allowing us to be in the same building. It makes you wonder why they were assigned that way in the first place. 2. The room's central air conditioning only provided heating. When we checked in, the room was exceptionally hot; even with the AC off, the temperature was around 27 degrees Celsius (likely due to the room facing west and getting direct sun). However, the housekeeping service was excellent – they promptly brought a portable air cooler, and their service was always timely, thorough, and enthusiastic. This was a stark contrast to the less attentive bellhop service in the lobby. 3. For such a large hotel, having only two elevators per building (Building 1 and 2) seems inadequate for a Le Méridien property. It also raises safety concerns, as there are no staff members at the elevator entrance. If you need to access rooms on other floors, you have to take the stairs (I used the emergency stairwell twice to retrieve something from a room on the 6th floor, a tip given to me by a housekeeper). 4. The large bathtub in the bathroom is genuinely enormous. I suspect anyone under 175cm might need to be careful not to drown! 5. The exterior windows of the scenic room looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I'll stop here for now. I'm writing so much because I actually quite like Le Méridien, and I hope to see improvements next time I visit.

I chose this hotel for a business trip again this year. The service attitude at the front desk was very good. Ms. Kaimi was as enthusiastic as ever. I arranged a satisfactory king-bed river-view room. When I woke up in the morning, the scenery was pleasant and I was in a good mood. The room is also clean and hygienic, the air-conditioning effect is good, the facilities and equipment are complete, and the surrounding facilities are also very complete. Convenient to travel, 20 minutes from the station, recommended to everyone.

The hotel is a bit dated, both in design and facilities, and definitely needs an update. However, it's still well-maintained, and everything works as it should. The room was a bit small.
Service was standard—nothing exceptional, but no major issues either. The complimentary afternoon tea felt a bit pointless, honestly, apart from the view outside the window. As for the hot spring, it's hard to say it's *good*, but it is there.
The hotel's location in Dujiangyan is unbeatable, truly fantastic. It's in the absolute heart of everything, with no other tall buildings blocking the view. You get an unobstructed panorama of Dujiangyan, with the 'Blue Tears' right in front of you and the Yangtianwo Giant Panda Base literally at your feet. The Lidui train station is right outside. This location and the views from the window are absolutely incredible. Rooms facing north towards Dujiangyan probably offer one of the best spots to see the 'Blue Tears.' If the weather's good, you might even catch a glimpse of the distant snow-capped mountains. Honestly, the view alone makes the trip worthwhile. But seriously, this place desperately needs a renovation, or it's just not doing justice to such an amazing view.

This hotel, nestled in the heart of the old town, offers a serene escape while still being close to the action. The decor is stylish and incredibly cozy, and the comfort level is top-notch. The butler service is exceptionally thoughtful; they communicated with us beforehand to confirm our check-in time and transportation, upgraded our room upon arrival, provided welcome fruits after check-in, and even personalized our breakfast time and arranged airport transfer. We truly felt right at home.

The hotel is good and affordable, with a very strategic location in the city center of Chengdu. It’s close to shopping areas and the station, which made getting around very convenient. The hotel staff are friendly, and the room was clean.
The only downside was the there is small space in shower room, so when we showered, water tended to spill out and made the floor wet. However, overall we really liked this hotel and enjoyed our stay🙂

The hotel is very centrally located, making it extremely convenient for exploring the city. The building and interiors are beautiful, with a stylish and well-thought-out design. While some areas feel slightly worn, everything is still in good condition and well maintained.
The service was excellent: all the staff were very kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was also very clean, which we really appreciated.
As a pleasant surprise, we were given a complimentary room upgrade to a very beautiful room, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we were very happy with our experience and would gladly stay here again.

Location
On a long street with many restaurants and shops along the street and a self service ATM 5 -10 min walk away, including a small market in the mornings. It is a residential area, so you will most likely be the only foreigner, but people are extremely friendly and helpful, albeit the stares. The entrance faced the main road and was well lit. There is a flight of stairs that you will need to go up to get to the hostel area. If you have not tried hot pot, I would def recommend going to the Haichiniu Xianxianqie Beef Self service Hot Pot place which is around 5 mins walk down the road.
Quite far from the centre of the city however it is extremely easy to get to. During the day, there is a close proximity to the underground around 10 min walk, and there is a bus that I took from the city centre to right outside the hostel door where the bus stop was. If you are going through the night/early morning, it is extremely easy to catch a taxi through apps and it is quite cheap (around 40- 70 yen) and the road is very well lit. I felt completely safe in the area.
Service
Chu, the hostel aunty is warm and helpful, and gives you a sense of being home away from home. This included being made some home made dumplings to celebrate Golden Week which tasted delicious! She gave recommendations on places to go and made sure that I kept safe when out. As another review said, it can be a bit difficult communicating if you don't know Chinese as no English at the hostel or around the area is spoken and it can get quite draining/ mentally challenging at times for us, however Chu still tried her best to communicate regardless and I really appreciated the effort. To get around this and to make your stay more enjoyable, I would be sure to have WeChat set up prior so you can use the chat translator and have your google translate app out ready. (N.B Make sure you are able to set up the account and get the WeChat validation/security text through your HOME sim/data roaming as opposed to attempting to set up your account on your E-sim which won't work).
Facilities
It is a hostel that provides what you need. The things that took my British head some time to get around was the shower situation and the bed; namely the shower as it was more typical of an advanced bidet than standard shower. However, it was kept exceptionally clean after my first day there and I did my part of keeping it clean by bleaching it down. The bed is quite sturdy, typical of Chinese beds, so I would recommend bringing a blanket or similar to lay on the mattress so you can get to sleep. There is an upstairs area where you can use the washing machine or wash your clothes by hand and an open area to hang dry your clothes. Make sure you have some cash ready to give to Chu to use the machine. There is a vending machine that you can buy snacks for using the your WeChat pay. There is a seating area at the top where you can sit down and eat, smoke and chat. Once you are used to the different products used (i.e remembering the slippers, using the shower etc.), it becomes second nature and a very comfortable stay (funny story: I was sitting on a desk chair outside my room and being use to the chairs in the UK being quite heavy, I swung myself around and ended up falling off the chair LOL!).
Cleanliness
Like I mentioned above, the hostel is kept exceptionally clean and I had no concerns around hygiene once I got used to the shower situation. The cleanliness is what I can say was a huge benefit to the hostel. Considering how large the place is and Chu is the sole host, it is kept evidently very clean and Chu will be sure to tell you to tidy up too lool. People in China are not a fan of strong smells/ fragranced things so you will not smell bleach or such products but after seeing a storage room, I can assure they are being used!
The photos in the other reviews capture it exactly so you will not be surprised when coming to the place.
GGuest UserThis room is excellent! First off, the location near Jiuyan Bridge is perfect. There are plenty of dining options right downstairs, which is really convenient. The room itself is spacious; the tatami mat and the space next to it could easily accommodate a family of three. It's very clean, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area. The 14th floor boasts a terrace with a great view and where breakfast is served. You can even enjoy a traditional tea ceremony there with a wide-open panorama. The staff were also incredibly nice. Highly recommend!

TtravellerisThis is my third time staying at the Xishu Garden Inn and I had another great stay there. Great check in experience and friendly staff that chatted with me in English. Very clean and comfortable facilities and good air conditioning. I just stayed for a night to attend a concert, so I had a great time even though it was brief.
Highly recommend this place! Great value for price and lovely atmosphere.
TTashaa02Such a lovely stay! The owner is very kind and helpful. I arrived late at night, yet the owner patiently waited for me to check in. The hotel is clean and completely free of cigarette smells. The location is superb as well—within walking distance to the metro, Yangtianwo, Guanxian Ancient Town, and more. Will definitely come back!
GGuest UserThis place completely exceeded our expectations. The room was incredibly clean and beautifully designed, with a very cozy atmosphere that made us feel relaxed the moment we stepped in. The bed was extremely comfortable we slept so well every night.
The view was absolutely stunning. Waking up to such breathtaking scenery every morning was truly unforgettable and made the stay even more special.
The service was outstanding. The staff were super friendly, warm, and genuinely caring. They took excellent care of us and were always happy to help. They kindly recommended many delicious local restaurants and shared great tips on beautiful places to visit around Rilong, which made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable.
The location is also very convenient, staff always bring us to wherever we want to go . Overall, this was an amazing stay, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place in Rilong Town. Highly recommended we would definitely stay here again!
GGuest UserOur entire stay was an absolute delight! The hotel is a 15-minute drive from the gully entrance, and they offer a free shuttle service directly to the scenic area's main gate. Our room was spotless and odor-free, the bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a truly peaceful night's sleep. The staff were all so warm and attentive, from check-in to check-out, they were efficient and thoughtful. The restaurant on the first floor also serves great food; the yak hotpot was particularly fresh and delicious. The value for money is simply unbeatable. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time! This stay exceeded all expectations. The hotel's cleanliness, down to every detail, was impeccable, especially the bathroom. For this price, it's far superior to anything you'd find closer to the gully entrance.
GGuest UserI was incredibly satisfied with my stay at this hotel in Chengdu! The environment is fantastic, a peaceful oasis amidst the bustling city. Every evening, there's even live classical music to enjoy. The room is very spacious, exactly like the pictures, and comfortably accommodated my family. It was exceptionally clean, which as a germaphobe, I really appreciated! Every staff member we encountered was incredibly warm and friendly. Even my child said we have to stay at Pushi Hotel again next time we're in Chengdu!

GGuest UserMy stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Chengdu Tai Koo Li was excellent overall. The location on Shuanglin Road is fantastic, very close to Tai Koo Li and Chunxi Road, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was spacious and comfortable, with soft bedding and a clear TV. They even thoughtfully provided drinking water and snacks, showing great attention to detail. The city night view from the window was also quite impressive. The breakfast selection was extensive, ranging from freshly made noodles to fresh fruit and Western pastries, all prepared on-site by the chefs, ensuring good taste and quality. Both the front desk and restaurant staff were friendly, and check-in and check-out were a breeze. The price for four nights was quite reasonable, offering great value for money. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is a solid choice. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a very pleasant overall environment, nestled right at the foot of the mountain. The scenery on the drive up is, in my personal opinion, as breathtaking as Jiuzhaigou. We chose the 360-degree family room, and our child absolutely loved it. It's highly recommended for a vacation. We also tried mushroom picking, which I personally found quite enjoyable. 😁
The downside is that dining options weren't very convenient. While the hotel restaurant was spotless, the food was just average. However, that's acceptable, as nothing is ever completely perfect.
