What a great hotel this is. Perfect location on the waterfront in Locarno, right next to the railway/bus station and jetty for boat trips on Lac Majeur. The hotel is modern, clean and with excellent friendly and professional staff. Of course Locarno is not cheap but this hotel offers overall excellent quality/price ratio and can be highly recommended. Large, modern Executive Double rooms with nice terraces with great views overlooking the bay. Great high quality breakfast on the terrace - served by really nice staff...This really is a great hotel and an excellent choice for Locarno. modern, clean

The location is very good and convenient to travel. The room was clean and well equipped.
If you book through Trip.com , you must ask the customer service staff of Trip.com to get the 6-digit reservation number starting with B, otherwise you can't self-check in online, and you can't get the password to enter the door.
This home is unmanned, and you need to check in online in advance. The entry password needs to wait until 3 pm to officially take effect, and it cannot be 1 second early. .

after baddest experience with ibis, I must admit this is a very nice hotel, just 5min walk from the train slation, just a little higher up, offering a nice view of the lake even from lateral hotel windows. modern ambiente, upgraded facilities, comfy lobby and fast WiFi, will chose this again in march.

Замечательное место - все новое и современное! Рядом с вокзалом, но поездов почти не слышно. Есть кондиционер. В номере все чистейшее, мягкие полотенца, хорошая кровать, прекрасная сантехника. Подушки тонкие, если кому критично. Можно заказать завтрак за 10 франков.
Сотрудница на ресепшен была очень любезна. На все время пребывания дают карту гостя, дающую право на бесплатный проезд по всему кантону Тичино на поездах и автобусах , плюс куча скидок. Мне все понравилось, к сожалению, я была там всего одну ночь.

This is the best hotel during my two-week trip to Switzerland. All facilities were clean and the staff service was like a 5-star hotel. The view while eating breakfast was fantastic. I will definitely visit again next time.

When I first arrived at Lugano train station, I followed the navigation... Oh my god, looking down from the hillside, and pulling the luggage... The zigzag stairs made it really tiring to walk to the hotel... After checking in, I found that there was a cable car going up and down in the train station... It was immediately accessible... I was sweating all over my back... I wondered why no one told me about this in the reviews on the platform:)~:)
Remember, there is a cable car directly in the train station... This hotel is next to (inside) the station! It's so convenient, and it's also very fast to get to the train station after checking out~🥰~ Moreover, when checking in, the hotel printed a QR code. This is where you can take the cable car to the train station as many times as you want~😀
Although the hotel room is not big, the front desk service is good, comfortable, clean, and tidy, and the location is good, and it is very convenient to visit the old town!
I will stay in this hotel again next time I come!

Am amazing experience, the room is super clean the personal very nice and professional, always there if you need. About the room it’s a technological room, light touchscreen and new model showers. The price is correct, since you arrive you can active the Ticino ticket which means you have free transport train,tram and bus for all Ticino. The parking for the car it’s near, you find place always and you pay 5 francs per day(possible to pay for all days that you stay). I recommend this hotel for couple and family , excited to come back there!😊🙏🏻

However, due to ongoing construction at the station, many trains are experiencing significant delays and skipping stops. For example, trains to Milan are bypassing this station, meaning you have to wait for the next one, which can be quite inconvenient and disrupt your travel plans. Travelers heading to other parts of Italy might want to consider this. There's also a cable car station nearby for mountain access.

GGuest UserThe apartment-style kitchen does not come with any usable kitchen utensils. You need to borrow it from the hotel for an additional fee and you cannot swipe your card. You have to pay cash in Swiss francs. If you take transportation, you need to walk up a small slope every time you enter and exit. The breakfast is good and delicious, and the service staff is very nice. Great

GGuest UserLuganodante definitely like you (us)! Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Room is clean and cosy. Had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant/bistro - flame grill - awesome service! The only regret was staying there for just one night, wish we had stayed longer. Will definitely choose to stay at Luganodante again if we are back. Thank you team!
IMPORTANT TIP: please take the funicular - Lugano Città - from the Lugano Stazione to the hotel (just stop outside the hotel, very convenient). If feeling adventurous, proceed to enjoy the walk/hike down to the hotel from the station.

JJenTTWe had a GREAT experience at Bed & Bike! The owners Luca and his wife were sooooo friendly and helpful to us. We had no idea where to go to the ski resort and Luca has kindly offered to drive us! AND he cooked me the best pumpkin/vegetable fusion soup every I had in my whole life! Best scrambled eggs, desserts, tender beef! We are already missing their boutique hotel! Room was clean and spacious for us to open three luggages. Would want to come back again for visit in the future!

Although the size is not very large, it is comfortable to live with air conditioning, we go to the summer, it is a bit comfortable, the shower in the bathroom is strong and the temperature of the warm water is well controlled.
If you want to buy things at the train station, there is Coop, which is open 6-22 a.m. It's easy to walk to find food. Overall, I really like the location here.

MMichaelIf you are booking a luxury hotel in Lugano, there is no other option for me. While it’s not right in the middle of the City, it’s in a nice and quiet area and the 10-15 minute walk to the city is great for settling the stomach after eating to much pizza. The grounds are simply stunning, the views are amazing, the breakfast buffet is not amazing but very good (Although the woman who seat you could smile a bit more, all the other staff at breakfast are great). The private Lido is awesome.
I will never stay at another hotel in Lugano for our annual summer trip, it has won my loyalty for life.
