The location and surroundings are wonderful, and our room was very spacious. The air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room cool and comfortable. The only downside is the shared restroom. Since it’s used by both men and women, we sometimes found the area around the toilet seat wasn’t quite clean. A bit more care here would make a big difference. Still, it’s a nice place with great value. I’d recommend it otherwise.

FUGA STAY, true to the meaning of its name “fuga” (elegance and serenity), is a refined and peaceful hideaway tucked within the heart of Kyoto. I personally love hotels that are hidden away from the main road yet still extremely convenient—just a 3 to 5-minute walk from Omiya Subway Station and numerous Kyoto city bus stops. If you’re into cycling or using e-scooters, there’s a Luup rental station right in front of the hotel. The room is spacious and very comfortable for a solo traveler. It comes with two double beds that you can easily move together to form a super king-size bed. The bathroom is also large, with no sense of tightness. The front desk staff speaks Japanese and Chinese, so communication is smooth and easy. Honestly, I’m hesitant to praise FUGA too much—if too many people discover it, the price might go up! P.S. Just around the corner is Tendō Shrine, only a 2-minute walk away. It felt like a beautiful encounter by fate. FUGA STAYは、その名の通り「風雅」で、賑やかな場所の中にありながらも静かで、控えめで上品な空間です。 大通りに面していないホテルが好きな私にとって、ここは理想的な立地です。徒歩3〜5分で大宮駅や京都市内の多数のバス停にアクセスできます。 自転車や電動キックボードが好きな方には、目の前にLuupのステーションがあってとても便利です。 部屋は広く、一人で泊まってもとても快適です。ダブルベッドが2台あり、自分で簡単に動かして、特大キングサイズベッドのように使うことができます。トイレも広々としていて、窮屈さは感じません。 フロントでは日本語と中国語（漢語）が通じるので、安心して滞在できます。 正直、あまり褒めすぎたくないです…人気が出て値上がりしそうで（笑） P.S. すぐ近くの路地に「天道神社」があり、徒歩2分ほどです。素敵なご縁を感じました。 FUGA STAY，如同其名字「風雅」一般，是一處鬧中取靜、低調而優雅的住宿空間。 我特別喜歡這種不在主幹道上、卻又交通便利的飯店——步行3到5分鐘即可抵達地鐵大宮站與眾多京都市巴士站點。 如果你喜歡騎單車或滑板車，門口就有Luup的租借點，非常方便。 房間空間寬敞，一個人住起來非常舒適，因為配置了兩張雙人床（可以輕鬆地自行移動，變成超級大king size）；廁所空間也很大，毫無壓迫感。 前台服務人員通曉日語與漢語，溝通無障礙。 說真的，我不太想過度讚美FUGA，因為怕太多人知道之後價格會上漲（笑） P.S. 小巷轉角就有一間「天道神社」，走路約2分鐘，非常有緣。

The hotel was in a good place near a grocery store and bus station. Staff was very polite and nice but my room wasn't cleaned even once The room itself was in traditional style which is the reason I chose this hotel and didn't regret it

The room is clean, large and reasonable. It is very close to the station. There was also a coin laundry. There was a large refrigerator and a microwave. The room was large, so it was relaxing and very comfortable. I would like to use it again.

Плюсы: расположение, большие номера, понятная система заселения. Не верьте тем, кто пишет, что сложно зайти в отель. В 10 утра в день заселения на почту приходит ПОДРОБНАЯ инструкция, с кодом от входной двери и с кодом от номера, для получения карт-ключей. Завтраков в отеле нет. Минусы: очень грязно, мало света, нет уборки номеров, нет воды в номере

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was larger than expected and well designed, with automatic lighting, a very nice bathroom, and a cozy raised Japanese-style area. The room was very clean, visually pleasing, and the air conditioning worked well throughout the stay. The location was also excellent, with the hotel just a short walk from Kyoto Station. Being in the city center made it easy to get around, even without using public transportation.

Very very cozy hotel with traditional setting but premium treatment. There is even private onsen in the room! Definitely a great choice for families to stay in and enjoy after long walk throughout the day, though the location would be considered slightly farther from Kyoto's downtown and nearer to Kinkakuji side. However, the experience is definitely worthwhile!

I asked for a promise to pay an additional fee for three people, but I was troubled because there were no amenities, beds, etc. When I checked to the front desk, I was half laughing and said, ”my side is no problem”. As a result, I did not pay additional fees, but the request did not pass. I learned that it would be better to check again a week ago. It was good as information before interior. Thank you.

The reception was very warm; there was even a Russian-speaking staff member who gave us detailed information about the hotel's surroundings. Thanks to him, we were able to find perhaps the best cento of our trip. The room's downsides included the windows not opening, the combined bathroom and shower, and short blankets. The room's advantages included power outlets by the bed.

In short, I redeemed the Ctrip voucher for accommodation, so the price/performance ratio is very high. The advantage is that it is very close to Kiyomizu Temple and Kamogawa River. It is very convenient to walk. The check-in front desk staff can provide Chinese services and communication is easy. The room is large and the hygiene is OK. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, and drinking water and other facilities are complete. The disadvantage is that there is noise interference in the room. The soundproofing of the building is poor. The air conditioner's outdoor unit will be louder. When it rains, there will be noise when rainwater drips onto the ceiling next to it. If you are a light sleeper, there may be various noise interference.
