Had a great family vacation stay at Linghai celebrated my son’s birthday in last minute plan with hotel staff recommendation and help. Hotel located about 15 mins walk from ferry station, but definitely worth for the view. Staffs and services are professional, great overall experience including the restaurants hotel thoughtfully recommended to guests for food safety and not getting tourist scams. Highly recommend the place, and would love to go back!

The hotel is fantastic and the reception is very efficient and open. The location is great, quite close to the restaurant area but distant enough to be very calm and relaxing

When we arrived at the quarry it started to rain. The luggage pickup service was done by a middle aged man who seemed like a really nice guy, however he was ill-equipped for rainy weather. We walked through the rain and the luggage was completely soaked. (No buggy except for government related service, so the man used a trolley) the hotel room seemed sp**** for its price, we booked the suite with panorama view. The night view is fantastic, but the toilet is easily choked, the staff came up to unclog the toilet explained that the piping was since time ancient and therefore cannot take any tissue. Luckily we only booked one night. Also the trip booking system seemed to hold the $$ for ‘preauthtorisation’ and the hotel requires you to pay again for the actual payment. Quite a number of guests were also buffled by this arrangement. Do take note of you are paying a guarantee to trip.com or the actual hotel. Only one young male staff was very enthusiastic and helpful, the rest did not seem like they want to work here. The a**osphere at front desk was generally quite gloomy.

Very spacious hotel with a balcony. Close to Gangzaihou Beach and many restaurants within walking distance.

Perfect location with seaview. We liked the friendly service as well as the afternoon tea and the breakfast. Highly recommend!

Staff was friendly and kept dialogue with us well ahead of arriving to the hotel. Hotel had great garden with fantastic view overlooking the water.

Great location next to Sunlight Rock, lovely old villa with modern decor. The afternoon tea is a nice surprise and the coffee for breakfast is good. The breakfast has a lot of variety but is definitely Chinese, not Western, as advertised. They should offer some kind of pick up or luggage transportation service to the ferry though.

Very nice hotel, a bit old in style but I liked it a lot as this is the charm of Gulangyu Island. Breakfast could be a bit richer but the coffee was very good. And the afternoon tea in the hotel (with fruits and cake) and restaurant recommendations (with promotional prices) was a very nice idea. Definitely worth staying. Next time I will try to get the sea view room :)

Accommodation on Gulangyu Island. I read other users' comments and chose this one blindly. After booking, I called and the housekeeper added WeChat to tell me about travel arrangements... The pier can send luggage once... This is good. The location of the hotel is very good. It is indeed very convenient to go to Sunlight Rock and Shuzhuang Garden. There are also many places to eat around. On the first day of the island, I chose to take the electric bus to Shuzhuang Garden and then walk up the stairs (but I will definitely not know the direction for the first time, so I suggest waiting at a convenience store) and let the B&B staff pick me up... This way I won't go wrong! The hotel is not big, but the layout is also thoughtful. The room has a balcony, which is good and suitable for relaxation! Breakfast and afternoon tea are very thoughtful! The taste is delicious! I will choose this hotel next time I go to Gulangyu!

The location is very good, quiet in a busy area. You can walk down the stairs at the hotel entrance and walk to the beach in minutes. Sunlight Rock and Shuzhuang Garden are just a few minutes' walk away. The staff are warm and thoughtful, and my family is very satisfied!

A very romantic hotel with considerate service, clean and hygienic, and integrated into nature. Breakfast and afternoon tea are carefully prepared and the portions are sufficient. I like their decoration style very much.
