The hotel is in the center and in the market. My room is big and clean. If I come to Van in the future I will stay at this hotel again.

The clerks are very heartwarming. They answered all my questions for traveling and gave me some advice in English. The last day after checking out, the clerk even led me to the minibus station, telling me how to go to the Van Castle. The breakfast they offers is traditional Turkish breakfast. While the sound insulation effect of the room is very bad. Every night I will wake up because of the noise outside. If you are not strict with the sound, I strongly advice you to book this hotel.

Reasonable price and fairly good facilities.

Worst hotel in my life I found ants on my bed and showed them a video, but the staff didn't say anything. I asked for a refund, but they refused. I've traveled a lot, but this is the worst hotel I've ever been to in terms of service and hygiene. If the video had been uploaded, I would have been able to see the ants exactly.

It was very clean. There was not a single speck of trash on the ground, and the sheets had no stains or smells, so I think this hotel is worth more than its price. As an added bonus, breakfast was included, so it felt like a luxury experience for the price.

The room facilities and front desk service are very good. The front desk can help with many problems and is very enthusiastic. The breakfast is also very good.

i booked this hotel but security situation in van is very bad and dangerous at that time and i want to change or cancel my booking and the hotel staff and manager do not accept and they are very bad and i am not happy with them this is not acceptable

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and found it a very pleasant place to stay. The rooms are quite large and it is in a very good location, central to lots of shops, restaurants and cafes plus public transport. The owner, Haran, speaks very good English and was very helpful with organising a tour of local places for us to visit. The breakfast was a basic Turkish breakfast, as expected. The hotel was very clean, staff friendly, wifi very good and beds comfortable.

I spent two night at Toprak hotel. It was a very pleasant stay. It is run by a family, and Mr. Harun, the owner is very accommodating and helpful. I had booked through a reservation platform, and things didn't go through, and I contacted him and he immediately helped me and guaranteed the room for me. The location is right in the centre of Van, a 2 minute walk to Hazret Omer mosque, and a 5 minute walk to the central cumhuriyet caddesi. Rooms are comfortable and clean, they might need some upgrade, nevertheless they are perfect. Breakfast is basic, but in Van people are used to having breakfast at one of the many breakfast saloons, so, can't complain. Mr Harun speaks Turkish, Persian, Kurdish, Arabic and English and helps in organising trips to nearby attractions as well. Rates are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

the rooms are clean. the location is very good. it is near to transport system and supermarkets and main streets. receptionist speaks ٍEnglish and Persian (most of the time) and help you to solve your problems. you can choose sightseeing tours with professional tour leader(Dear Harun)
