From the time Brysen handled the details of our check in until the time we checked out, our party (which had nine rooms for a weekend) was handled with thoughtfulness and care. The facility is beautiful and well kept. The location is wonderful and convenient to everything. However, the team working at the hotel made our weekend. They were gracious, welcoming and extended us every courtesy to help us to navigate a very busy weekend. Taxis to get us to the event? No problem. Room service with complicated orders? Done. Brysen even ran out to pick up an order for us when we unfortunately arrived during a time when the kitchen was closed. Literally going the extra mile. We were treated as honored guests and had a lovely time. Thanks to Lindsey for the no fuss checkout with so many details handled efficiently and politely. We will return happily to Sofitel DC on our next trip to DC.

Stayed at the hotel for three nights. It’s generally a good experience. The hotel room was clean and the size was just right for two people to stay. The location is awesome! There are nice restaurants options nearby. And the price at this season was reasonable. Recommend it.

The room is good, it feels that the service does not match the hardware of the hotel, it seems that their front desk is more enthusiastic to serve whites! The small refrigerator is still locked, it is speechless, and I have lived in many high-end hotels. This situation is unique... Overall, the experience is not so good, it needs to be improved, there is no coffee machine in the room, the front desk says that the lobby is always available. However, after the first day of drinking, there was no more 😓😓😓😓😓 friends lived next to Hyatt, which is a good price.

The location is really wonderful! It’s close to the most famous places like the White House and DuPont Circle. you only need to take a bus to go to Georgetown. It’s about 10 minutes. Come to DC to live in Park Hyatt for 3 days. The area where you are located should be good. If you take a taxi, you can't go anywhere, but if you take the subway, there is still a distance from the subway station. The doorman is more welcoming. The only drawback is that the three nights of staying in the hotel did not change the toiletries once.

The free breakfast and evening drinks were very satisfying.
In particular, the omelettes cooked on the spot were very delicious.
However, the pool did not seem to be maintained.
The location was good for sightseeing, and there were many convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so it was very convenient.

We chose the Hilton because of its location at DuPont Circle and proximity to the metro. It was perfect. Very clean and excellent service. We had a corner room with large windows and a nice view. We weren’t able to check in early and still have our chosen room but we left our luggage with the bell captain, parked and went off to explore on foot for awhile, taking the advice from a helpful front desk clerk for a nice place for lunch close by. Everything was close by. It worked out perfectly. The price of the hotel was excellent too which offset the cost of parking ($56/day) in the garage below where the car stayed for the whole trip. It was very easy to park and get back inside. The restaurants looked lovely but we didn’t eat there. There were just too many local choices and we were out walking most of the day. The bell captain was helpful in getting us a cab one cold evening when my Uber app was be working well. He went outside in the cold until he was able to hail one for us (comparable in price to the Uber we would’ve taken) Lovely stay. Highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed at the Salamander overnight before our flight out of Dulles to Tanzania. To preface this review, I specifically booked this hotel due to past experience with Mandarin Oriental, so I was disappointed to hear of the exchange but gave it a shot anyway. I was disappointed with check in, with the staff, and with the general atmosphere. The hotel itself was clean, the finishes were decent, and the spa area is very nice...I just don't feel they warrant the price tag when the other variables are lacking. We arrived around 11:30, I had informed months before that the arrival would be around 12. We were told it wasn't guaranteed, but they would put that one in priority to be ready. Upon our arrival, we're told it is just awaiting inspection and it should be no later than 12:30. No problem, we visited The Lounge for lunch. We wrapped up around 12:30 and the weather precluded us from exploring much outside the hotel. Long story short, our room was not ready until 2:40. I acknowledge that check in time is actually 3, but had it been presented that way, we would have gotten a taxi and went elsewhere to kill 3 hours. The staff did not seem very invested in the hotel or interested in us. In my experience, something that sets 5 star hotels apart is the staff willingness to go the extra mile, to make a note to check back in with you, and to always be present. Between the doormen not paying attention, the front desk giving no updates on the room status without prodding, and waiting at the Lounge hostess stand for several minutes before going down to the bar and asking the bartender if we should seat ourselves (he found the hostess), it was just lacking. I don't need someone to hold my door or be worried about us sitting in the chairs by the front desk for 2 hours, but I paid for that experience and did not get it. Lastly, the general atmosphere...it just did not have a 5 star vibe. In 5 stars, folks are walking around, ensuring nothing is out of place and everything is picture perfect. This was not the case, the lobby restroom was in a bit of disarray...no one ensured that folks were there to help. It was just disappointing. All that to say...the place is clean, it is nice, you won't be disappointed there. But I believe I would have gotten better service at the Hilton down the road for half the price. Or we've stayed at the Park Hyatt in DC previously and absolutely adored the staff and facilities.

I stayed at the Phoenix Park Hotel from June 26-28. There are three reasons why I enjoyed the stay at the Phoenix Park Hotel. The first reason is that it's super convenient since it's walking distance from the Metro and the Amtrak. The second reason is that the Dubliner is located in the Phoenix Park Hotel, which is another reason to stay in this hotel. The third reason is the rooms are very new even though the building is about 100 years old, which shows that the hotel is committed to invest in making the hotel updated for patrons to stay in.

Outstanding
GGuest UserThe layout was similar to the POD 51 in Manhattan, where I stayed several times. It is not a large room, big enough for one or a couple. The room was clean, the price was decent. I would stay again. The environment was fresh and modern. You can use the app to check-in and out. There is an iPad in the room to control everything in the room from the blinds to the lights to the climate control. I will say the plump comforter on the bed was the warmest I have ever had in any hotel I stayed.
PPhoebe ChristenI really enjoyed my experience at The Morrow! The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming upon my arrival. My room was Beautiful with no issues and was very clean. Overall, the hotel itself is Beautiful. I wish they would have more of a variety for food choices but at the moment there is only one main French restaurant to dine at. However, a rooftop bar and lounge should be opening in the summer which will definitely draw more attention.
YYANGOne of the most satisfied hotels in the US itinerary, the large living room is very convenient for simple food, the environment is very comfortable, the morning is simple, but more convenient, the hotel has free afternoon tea on the first day of stay, one big burger per person like.
GGuest UserThe decoration looks like an old-fashioned hotel, so the facilities are a little bit worse. But the room is big enough, the health is good, there is a coffee machine, and the customer service staff are also very polite.
It takes about ten minutes to get to the station.
GGuest UserThe first room had a very noisy fan. I was moved to another room which was much quieter. I noticed that there were several small issues with the room and relayed them to the front desk, where a manager (Keith) overheard me and said he would look into it. Nothing happened to correct it during the entire stay, not a note to say how or if it would be corrected. The issue was a ring of paint or epoxy in the bathtub, something that should have been cleaned up at the time of painting.
The second issue was the very poor arrangement of lighting in the room. Lamps were confined to small areas, there was no overhead light and the bathroom was either overlit or underlit, while the closet area was dark unless it was daylight. Afterwards I noticed that there large holes in the sheer curtains in the room. Not tragic, but not in keeping with the tenor and tone of a Marriott Bonvoy.
In the lobby there was only an ADA service elevator to go from the street to the lobby level. It was self operated, no instructions, no indication lights on either level and a bit noisy.
GGuest Userfirst off, i booked a king room but was given 2 queen beds instead, they said you don’t always get that when you book through a 3rd party because they do not know what rooms are actually available, second, i requested that my room be cleaned everyday that i stayed, but was not, i had to go downstairs to ask for new towels 2 nights in a row, on the 3rd night i finally asked the front desk and they showed me a small sign that said they do not clean until your 4th day of stay, they can do a quick refresh if you ask before 9pm the night before, lastly, i was charged $41.73 on top of what i paid to Trip.com, i called to ask about it a few days after my trip when i saw it on my credit card, they said it was an amenities charge for each of the days i stayed, whaat? the only amenity i used was the elevator, never have i ever been charged for anything other than the price of the hotel, needless to say i will not be staying here again and will not recommend it to anyone
GGuest UserI traveled to DC with my preteen and teenage sons for a basketball game. The property didn’t receive my reservation (booked through 3rd party) but the front desk staff took the time to make it right and get us set up. They had excellent customer service throughout our stay.
This hotel was VERY clean. I was actually surprised because I use to stay here frequently about 10 years ago and expected some things to run down a bit. It turns out that the hotel is very modernized and looks just as good now as it did a decade ago.
The location is perfect as it’s right in the middle of the NoMa neighborhood and it is right next to the NoMa/Gaulludet (Red Line) Metro station. There are a few small shops across the street and a 7 Eleven next door if you are looking for a quick bite.
The room itself was comfortable. My youngest son and I slept soundly on the queen sized bed and my oldest slept on the couch. He was pretty comfortable without even folding the couch down.
Overall, I will definitely book here again as I frequently visit DC. Fo how inexpensive this hotel is, the quality was phenomenal. I can’t wait to go back.
GGuest UserThe location is very good, not far from the subway station. It is very quiet nearby. There is a large supermarket and a delicious pizza shop.
GGuest Userwe arrived around 10am and were fortunate enough to be allowed early check-in. desk guy was nice, and was able to speak english. we needed the rest after a grueling red-eye. i was unaware of how far out the place was from most of what we were there to see. this resulted in spending enough money on Lyft to afford a ”swankier” place further into the city. my bad. after a brief rest, we met some family and walked around alot. the new target down the block closes at 9, so when we got back to the room around 930pm, we were unable to get supplies for the room, & had to stop at a gas station to get a few things. this is NOT a neighborhood to go walking at night. we were approached a few times, but never threatened, still didnt feel comfortable on the street. the room itself was reasonably clean, & there were no bugs that i could see. beds were firm, and there were mostly feather pillows. 3 per bed. there were multiple ”dings” in the place...beginning with the corners, the walls, and at least 2 pretty serious marks on the tub that had broken the enamel off. a fair bit of the caulking was pulled loose from both the tub and the wall. i was dissapointed to see the back of the dressing vanity was raw plywood. didnt expect that. there was a decent armoire for hanging clothes, with storage cubbies on the side. to the left of that was a reasobly large dresser with enough drawer space to handle what we had brought. immediately above the dresser was a huge flatscreen tv that, while impressive, was far to big for the space. after a bit, we figured out the remote. left of the dresser/tv was a desk & chair. under the right side of which was a 3-legged refrigerator with platic top that kept coming off. above that there was a microwave that proved useful, on top of which was a single cup coffee maker that worked nicely for tea. the furniture overall, seemed repurposed from another motel. most of it didnt match, and looked pretty used. the floor was reasonably clean
