Fairyland Properties in Urumqi

This hotel absolutely deserves a five-star rating! From the moment I walked in, I felt incredibly well taken care of. The front desk attendant had such a warm smile and processed my check-in efficiently. She even thoughtfully recommended some great local restaurants. She was so attentive in explaining the room features and considering my needs, especially since I'm a light sleeper, she suggested a perfect room for me. That made me feel really welcomed. Housekeeping was super responsive too; I requested an extra blanket at night, and it arrived within minutes. This 'home away from home' feeling means I'll definitely be staying here again next time I'm in the city!

The hotel is located right on Hetian Second Street, a very lively area, yet the rooms are incredibly quiet. The hygiene is excellent, and the room was a suite, offering plenty of space. The bed was large and comfortable. There's a stovetop in the room, but no pots or pans are provided. The hotel also offers free washing machines and dryers; the dryers actually get your clothes completely dry, which is very convenient. Breakfast is not included, but there's a large parking lot, making parking very easy. The staff's service attitude is great, very polite. When we first checked in, the air conditioning didn't seem cool enough, but after adjusting the vent blades towards the bed, the room cooled down nicely. A special thanks to the hotel manager! One of our group only had a Chinese passport and no ID card, which, according to Urumqi's local regulations, meant they couldn't check in. The manager patiently accompanied us to the police station to coordinate for two hours, staying busy until 1 AM. Although in the end, due to relevant regulations, they still couldn't check in, the manager proactively processed a refund for my companion and then offered a lot of advice and help. Throughout the entire process, they were incredibly patient, responsible, and very humane. I am truly grateful! Such service deserves high praise and a recommendation. Just a side note: when buying tea and gifts from shops on Hetian Second Street, always ask around a few places before purchasing. I bought some tea from a shop downstairs (not the hotel's shop) that didn't have clear pricing and the owner just called out a price. I paid over 200, only to see the same tea for just 50 at another shop.

The hotel is clean and tidy, the front desk is simple and elegant, the front desk lady served with a smile throughout the whole process, and the other waiters were also very enthusiastic. After checking in, the room attendant took me to the room and helped with the luggage. The room was very clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The bathroom was quite large, the water temperature was suitable when showering, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was a very good accommodation experience and worth recommending!
