Crystal Orange Properties in Urumqi

This is my second trip to Xinjiang this year, and for my last night before leaving, I chose a桔子 (Orange Hotel) not far from the airport. This particular Orange Hotel is really well-equipped. The room was great, breakfast was good, and the laundry room was nice. I didn't get a chance to use the gym, but it looked good too. Most importantly, the service was excellent. Everyone was very polite. Especially this time, I had booked for my child, and because they weren't feeling well the night before, I couldn't reach them in the morning. I had to call the front desk staff for help, and they even went to the trouble of bringing breakfast. I was in such a rush that I forgot to ask for their name, but I want to express my sincere gratitude here 🌹. From now on, whenever I come to Xinjiang, I'll be staying at this Orange Hotel. I truly love it.

I originally booked a deluxe king room, but the lovely lady at the front desk upgraded me to a luxury king room for free when I checked in. This changed the room's orientation; instead of facing a residential area, the window now overlooked the train station, which my child absolutely loved! This thoughtful gesture was truly appreciated. A robot delivered our takeout, and when I only retrieved the top layer, the front desk staff kindly helped me find the bottom one – their service was excellent. The room itself was bright and clean! Breakfast was incredibly varied and offered great value for money. They also provided plenty of bottled water in the room, along with complimentary coffee and tea.

1. Location: The location is good, separated from Wanda Plaza by a small road, convenient for shopping and dining. It is about 6 kilometers away from the airport, and a taxi costs about 20 yuan. The hotel used to reimburse the one-way airport-hotel fare, but the policy is no longer in place. 2. Breakfast: Breakfast is served from 8:00 onwards and is average. There is a full range of Chinese and Western food but not rich enough. During peak hours, seats are limited and you need to share a table. Sometimes there is no room at the table and you need to wait. 3. Service: The service is warm and there is a young man wearing glasses at the front desk who is quite professional. He upgraded the room type in advance according to the service provided by Ctrip. He is considerate and polite. The uncle at the door welcomes guests warmly, the waitress in the restaurant is kind and responsive, and the wonton noodle chef provides a pager to make it convenient to pick up the food. 4. Intelligence: The whole house is intelligent, Xiaodu Xiaodu can solve everything. I like the fully automatic toilet very much because I am used to it at home and it is very convenient. Whether you choose a shower head with a large plate or a handle for the bathroom, you can control it with buttons, which is very convenient, has a large amount of water, and washes very clearly. Curtains, air conditioners, and lights can all be controlled by Xiaodu, and intelligence changes your life! 5. Facilities: The room is clean and tidy, with modern decoration. The bathroom, cabinets, bed, etc. are all new. The mattress is comfortable, the curtains have good light blocking, and the air-conditioning temperature is adjustable. The stay is very comfortable and I slept well that night. Equipped with laundry room and gym, all free and very convenient. The room provides 4 bottles of 500ml mineral water (2 bottles in the refrigerator), 1 bottle of soda water, 1 bottle of cola, free tea bags and coffee bags, which need to be prepared by yourself, and simple snacks, all free of charge. There is an L-shaped parking lot in front of the hotel, but it is not big. 6. Suggestions: First, I hope that soap is provided. I stayed at the Hilton in Bole before and there was no soap. I made the same suggestion because it was inconvenient to go to the bathroom to get bath gel to wash your face. Secondly, I hope that the type of external windows can be marked on the platform. This time I upgraded to a business king bed, but because there is a glass curtain wall outside the window, the external window became an ”inner window”. There is a lot of dust between the glass curtain wall and the window, and the glass curtain wall has been closed for a long time, making it impossible to open the window for ventilation in the room (you can smell some odor in the room when you open the door). Third, I hope to add a towel rod on the wall to the right of the sink, otherwise the towels can only be piled on the sink and cannot be dried. Overall: The flaws do not outweigh the merits. The whole house is smart, the facilities are new, the service is good, the location is convenient, I recommend staying here!

I was very pleased to receive a free upgrade upon check-in, and the room was generally clean and well-equipped. However, please improve the training of the hotel's front desk staff. We ordered two takeout meals, which should have been delivered by robot, but the front desk placed them on different floors. When the robot arrived, it only opened one floor, causing confusion for the other delivery. The delivery driver, the restaurant owner, and I were all confused. The driver traveled over 10 kilometers round trip, and the restaurant owner kept trying to communicate. We initially thought the delivery was wrong and blamed the driver. Later, the driver returned to the hotel to find the items, and the front desk admitted they were in the robot without our knowledge. This whole ordeal didn't end until after 11:40 PM! It was incredibly frustrating. 😓 I really hope the front desk can be more responsible. The first time we called to ask if they had takeout, they said no, even though they were the ones who put it in the robot! This irresponsibility prevents guests from getting a good night's rest, as the delivery driver had to make a huge trip, and the restaurant owner felt wronged! One person's mistake caused trouble for three others!
