Bed hard and when you turned and you can hear spring sound? Ho to sleep? Ask counter change room for me and he argued with me that no one can complain so far?don't even apologize? Cockroach 🪳 easy found? How to stay again?

Room is pretty comfortable for solo/couple travel Pretty convenient location and not too far from airport. Staff is very helpful and give you all convenient information. Love it

I wish we had a refrigerator in our room since we have a baby with us. Was needed for her food. However, 5-stars to Aida who was compassionate enough to allow us early check-in when she saw my baby was sleeping when we arrived the hotel. Overall, all the hotel staff were warm and helpful.

Not the best place to stay although it is very budget friendly. Location is ok but no mrt nearby. Bed is too hard.

Room is nice. Hotel staff are really familiar. Cleaning service it very good. I appreciate to cleaning service girl , called her name is “ Htet”.

everything was good but only the toilet, if they could provide the bidet spray it will be much convenience for us,Thank You.

Cheap food is accessible. Like the front desk service. There is bus stop within distance. Shops are walking distance too

Good place to stay for a short trip . The staffs were all friendly and helpful. One downside my room had a smoke smell . It could be the previous guests were smoking in the room. Hope the housekeeping could do something about the smells and ventilation of the place .

Cleanliness: 4/5. Everything was very clean and a good standard but upon entering the room there was the slightest smell of cigarette smoke, hence the 4/5. Location: 3/5. I feel like the location is subjective. If you want easy access to the MRT to get to the city centre then best not stay here. We purposely wanted to stay here to enjoy the restaurants in the local area. It was perfect for us, but maybe too much effort for someone who wants to see central SG. Service: 4/5. We did not have much to do with the staff but they were friendly upon check in and check out. Amenities: 5/5. Provided the basic amenities but the thing I like most is the water fountain in the room. It is so much more practical than bottled water. Stayed in two different Hotel 81's and both have this, something I really like.

Option for budget stay in Geylang...good option for overnight connection in SIN without breaking a budget

Though hotel is located in a red light district, it is after all Singapore, so very safe.

Stayed in room 604 from Dec. 1-4, 2024 Kind and friendly staff both from night and day shift Rooms are well lit and super clean If you have any issues with your room or stay staff is always there to help which is honestly really great Super great experience and for sure will stay with Hotel 81 Gold again in the future if I have another opportunity to visit Singapore!

The hotel located in bad street but no problem with safety. The rooms are very small you can not even open baggage in the room. If you will just sleep at room 1 night it is ok.
