Chinatown Singapore|0.18km from Happy Harry's Shop
I stayed here in early December 2022 for a few nights. In general, this hostel is very conveniently located. It is only 4-minute walk from the Downtown Line MRT station. It is the same station that has the closest ATMs. The hostel requires you to pay your balance using cash. If you want to pay by card, there is an additional 3% charge and you'd have to walk to their sister hostel to use their card machine. The sister site is on another street but they claim it's just a 5-minute walk. Also, if you want to print anything or use a microwave, you'd have to walk across the street to the Chic Hostel to do so since this one doesn't have it. There is a fridge but no microwave. The good thing is that they do your laundry, within the same day if you tell them to, for $12. The dorms on the 4th floor did not have a lock on the door so it didn't feel secure from anyone else who may decide to wonder up there. They did have a key card for the individual lockers though. There's only one outlet by your bed so I'd recommend getting an adapter with multiple USB ports or something. The 4th and 3rd floors share a 2-stall shower and toilet combo which was a tight squeeze and a bit moldy, which probably cannot be helped with such humid climates. Only bodywash was available in the showers. Each toilet come with its own handheld bidet. I just wished that the restrooms had paper towels to dry your hands. I did like that each bed had its own TV with Netflix and headphones (even though I never used it). The A/C runs all night which is great. I also liked that eac bed has their owne privacy curtains as well as their own drying rack and clothes hangers.

The apartment is in an excellent location. It is between two subway stations on the blue line. It is convenient for eating. Nearby are Nanyang Old Coffee, Ya Kun, Songfa Bak Kut Teh, Toast Workshop, Coconut, and basic internet celebrity shops. The kitchen can also be used for cooking. For food, there is a supermarket in Tangchengfang nearby to buy food. The only bad thing is that the front desk staff are foreigners. Their English is not standard and they don’t know Chinese at all. They often rely on translation software to communicate. In addition, after 8 p.m. The emergencies that occurred were not solved in time. For example, one night after we washed and dried our hair, the hair dryer suddenly caught fire🔥. Because the front desk was off work, we could only call the boss to communicate, and the hair dryer could only be brought the next day. , the two children slept with wet hair that night, and caught a cold the next day. This can be improved.

I stayed here late March 2023. The stay was exceptionally hospitable, with friendly staff eager to assist you and provide recommendations for things to see and do in the city. The place is clean, with a very relaxed but funky vibe reflected by the beautiful jazz music played in the background. The ground floor lobby/cafe is conducive for social interaction, and the coffee and inmcecreqm superb! Do try the pistachio flavour! I've been very happy with my stay and would recommend ❤️

Chinatown
This was my 2nd stay with Heritage Collection. The 1st one was at 80 Boat Quay for a week. My stay at Heritage@Chinatown was only 3 nights, due to some unfinished business matters which delayed my departure. The Single Studio (No Window), Room 1-03, are very well equipped & most of all clean. Just opposite to the room that I was staying, there were 2 Units of Washers & Dryers. When it is in operation, U can hardly hear the noise.😊 I've managed to washed one load of clothes during my stay. (Was previously staying at a hotel for 4 nights before coming to Heritage). They do provide Clothes Detergent, which was very convenient to the resident.👍 I would like to highlight to the Management on 2 matters.. 1) A Hair Dryer was provided in the room but there were no Power Point near to the Mirror in the Toilet. The Power Point were located near to the Kitchen Cabinet & the Bed Side Lamp. 2) It would be very helpful to have a User Manual Guide for the Apple Tv App to assist resident who are not familiar with the Set up of the TV. I would like to inform whoever book Heritage@Chinatown, no Grab Cab or Taxis will stop in front of the ApartHotel where it is located. (As informed by the Grab Driver I've took. This particular lane is for Buses only according to the law) The Grab Cab/Taxi can stop opposite the road whereby there's a Taxi Shelter Stop, next to the Indian Temple on South Bridge Road. I would like to say a Special 'Thank You' To Alex, who went all the way to help me to booked the Grab Cab when my Grab App was not working. Plus so kindly to assist me by carrying one of my large luggage across the road to get to my Grab Cab which was stationed at Temple Street. Not forgetting..A Big Thank You to the other staffs too, Ken, Maica & the late night Customer Service Staff who tried her best to assist me on the operation of the TV.😅 (I did asked for her name but she did not mentioned it on whatsapp). To end it all, I had a peaceful and comfortable stay at the Heritage & will definetly recommend it to all my friends & relatives overseas when they wish to visit Singapore. Thank you again for your Service! 👍👏👏👏😍🥰

The hotel is located in Chinatown. It only takes a few minutes to walk by bus and subway. There is also a supermarket nearby. The overall location is very good. The interior of the hotel is spacious and comfortable for four people. There is a washing (drying) machine, Small kitchen, refrigerator, air conditioner, hair dryer, wireless WiFi, TV; there is only one bathroom, and there is no public restroom outside. It is a bit a pity. Except for the first day, the hot water on other days is not as hot; the travel time may be Wrong choice, staying for five days, construction is around 08: 00-16: 00 every morning, it ’s noisy; the worst thing is that there is no electricity in the room after the second night, no one after the counter, thankfully I asked Trip's real-time customer service to contact the landlord, otherwise it would be dark all night, and it took about an hour and a half to finally solve the problem of power failure.
