The hotel is located on the 2nd floor without any lift. Very clean room with a powerful shower spray bathroom. The bathroom has a modern and nice warm toilet seat and it's self flushing. The decor of the room is very nice with a beautiful painting. It has a kettle but without any coffee/tea beverages. Smooth and prompt check-in especially when we arrived about 1am from Pudong Airport. The lady receptionist directed us to our room promptly as we were rather tired. Our room faces a shady river and it's quiet. However, during the day, there is some ongoing construction in the next section of the building from about 9+ am. But by then, we are out exploring Shanghai. There are plenty of eateries nearby which are very good. The nearest Zhongshan Road Metro station (Red Line #1) is about 800m away..

This stay was absolutely fantastic! I have to give a huge shout-out to front desk staff member number 06! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt her warmth and professionalism. The check-in process was quick and efficient; she clearly explained all the important details in just a few words, without any fuss. Super efficient! At one point, I casually asked if there were any interesting places nearby, and she immediately gave me several detailed recommendations, even thoughtfully helping me plan out a route. As a first-time visitor, that instantly gave me a clear direction. During my stay, I accidentally lost my room key and was quite anxious. When I approached the front desk, staff member 06 gently reassured me not to worry while quickly helping me replace my room key. She even reminded me to check if I had left any personal belongings behind, which was incredibly thoughtful and heartwarming. Check-out was just as attentive. She not only carefully confirmed the charges but also asked about my experience. Such a conscientious and responsible attitude is truly rare. If I ever come back to this area, I will definitely choose this hotel again, purely for the excellent service provided by staff member 06!
